Chapter 1

A cold, wet, cloudy winter day greeted the two elves as they awoke and emerged from their shelter. The blonde elf turned to tending the horses while the black haired elf set about the small camp packing his personal belongings along with his companions. When the morning chores were completed and everything was packed and ready to go the two elves began to load their belongings on two horses. Together they set down to consume their meal of lambas bread and cool spring water from a single canteen which they passed to each other. There was a tension in the air between the two elves; the felt when two people who dislike each other are put in the same room with the each other and can't escape. The quietness of the glade was only broken by the wind in the trees and the occasional bird or insect.

The blonde elf was Glorfindel of Gondolin or now Glorfindel Senschenal of Rivendale. He was what many elves considered handsome tall and broad of shoulders and well built. His blonde hair was tied back into warrior braids, his eyes were crystal blue and normally held mischief in his gaze and were full of life and had a kindness in them with a sadistic streak. His features were that of an angel and nothing else could describe him better. He was wearing a green tunic and brown leggings to blend in with his surroundings. He stood up and began to put his rations in his saddle bags while pulling out his cloak. He called back to the other elf, "Erestor lets go we dont have all morning to sit in this glade, besides I don’t want to keep you from your scrolls and such. Unlike you I have a life that needs to be lived."

Erestor the other elf stood and refilled the canteen at the small spring that they had discovered when they set up camp. Erestor was the complete opposite of Glorfindel. He had Black hair and dark brown eyes. He wasn't as well built as Glorfindel but he held his body in a way that proved he was not weak. His black hair was tied back in a simple braid you would find in an elven court. He wore a brown tunic and matching leggings that almost matched his black cloak. His dark brown piercing eyes were empty of emotion and all you could see in them was coldness no warmth no mischievous streak nothing. Erestor replied to Glorfindel, "Very well lets began we wouldn't want to keep you from your duties and the Lord Elrond would we. I'm sure he'll just ravish you on the spot. I just bet he's sitting in his window waiting for you to come back and acting like a young elf maiden waiting for her lover. I dont know what he sees in your cocky ass that he couldn't find in someone else. You just go from one partner to another," Erestor snorted. "You've already bedded the whole barracks now you just must bed the whole house. So whose next when you tire of our lord? The twins?" Erestor smirked as he observed what his words did to Glorfindel.

Glorfindel curled his fists and reached for his sword. "Well at least I have a lover you on the other hand have to cold of a heart to even lay with another elf. Your touch would freeze them to death. I have heard the rumors at court of how you leave your playmates and how many have laid with you out of pity. I would never bed the twins we practically raised them how could you say something so disgusting? Unless you want them." He hoped to get a reaction out of the cold elf but none came except a glare that made Glorfindel shiver. He mounted his white horse and trotted off not waiting for Erestor. /That elf has no heart. He is cold and so filled with hate and anger. I am going to be so glad when we get back to Imaldris that I dont have to speak with him or be in his presence. How can one elf be such a bastard? /

Erestor glared at the blondes back and then mounted his black horse to follow Glorfindel. /At least I'm not the one who started the argument this time. You would think he would show me a little respect. Why in the hell would Lord Elrond take such an idiotic elf as his lover? /

Glorfindel cursed as it began to rain like it had the night before. The two elves pulled up the hoods of their cloaks. Erestor slowly looked around the forest they were passing through on their way back to Imaldris with concern. Something didn’t feel right and he looked at Glorfindel's back to see if the other elf had felt it. After fifteen minutes of silence and watching Glorfindel's back Erestor finally spoke in a quiet tone, "Glorfindell I don't have any warriors experience but isn’t the forest too quite even for a light rain? Shouldn’t there at least be some movement?" /Why am I whispering? This forest is so quite, too much so. /

At Erestor’s words Glorfindel almost lost his seat on the horse. He listened and heard nothing which disturbed him even more. He had been wondering what was wrong when he heard the underbrush move slightly and a twig snapping. Glorfindel smelled the air and wrinkled his nose in disgust. /Orks and Urk-Hai./ He rode on for about five seconds and went completely still at what he just thought.

Erestor not really paying attention almost fell off his horse as it stopped abruptly. /Thank the valar Glorfindell didn’t see that. He would have used it against me not even able to ride my own horse./ He opened his eyes and took a deep breath through his nose. His eyes widened and at that second Glorfindel turned around and there eyes met and both understood immediately. They urged there horses into full flight in the direction of Imaldris.

Orks and Urk-Hai poured out of the woods in front of them and they had to rein their horses in. Glorfindell counted the orks and urk-hai and came out with twenty-two he then dismounted. "Erestor listen to me run I don't care were you end up just run." With that he pulled his sword as the orks and urk-hai charged. Glorfindel's sword went into action as the first of the enemy met him. The orks head was chopped off and glorfindell kicked the body over.

Erestor could only stare as the orks charged Glorfindel. He jumped off his horse and opened his saddle bags pulled out two elvish long knives and a bow and a quiver full of arrows. He remounted his horse grabbed Glorfindel’s horse’s reigns and pulled the unwilling mount away from the skirmish. Erestor ran back to the struggle and right before he got there heard an ear splitting scream. He ran harder pulling and setting an arrow into his bow. An urk-hai had Glorfindel by the neck while two others were breaking his legs. Erestor shot the arrow without aiming and watched with satisfaction as the untargeted ork was instantly killed. He watched as the urk-hai dropped Glorfindel and came towards him. Erestor glanced at Glorfindel checking on his status to find that the blond elf had passed out. Rage swept through Erestor at what they had done to Glorfindel but he didn’t have time to ponder it as he turned his mind back to the fight.

The black haired elf’s quick warrior skills went into action counting the rest of the enemy. /Fifteen. I can handle this I've had worse numbers before./ Erestor pulled the two long knives out of their sheaths and attacked with fury cutting the urk-hai open and then cutting his head off. He attacked the rest of the orks with everything he had. /What would Glorfindel say if he found out that I can actually use weapons as well as I can a pen? Why am I thinking about him now? / He was so caught off by his thoughts that he didn't see the orks sword coming and wasn't expecting the pain that went through his middle as the sword was shoved through. Erestor gasped in surprise and killed the ork immediately while pulling the sword out of him. He attacked again and stepped back to see how many were left. /Five okay I can do this./ He pulled his bow back and placed two arrows on it taking out two orks. He attacked again and after a short skirmish quickly killed the last ork.

Erestor called to the horses to come while he examined Glorfindel. He poked Glorfindel's leg to see how much damage had been done. Erestor saw the horses while he cleaned his long knives and put them and his bow back in the pack bags carefully covering them up. The black haired elf decided he needed to wake the blonde up to judge the damage that had been done. "Glorfindel, can you hear me? Glorfindel? Come on wake up you big stupid oaf."

Glorfindel moaned in pain as he slowly woke. Everything was fuzzy around the edges and his leg hurt. "I am not a stupid elf and I’m not an oaf what happened?" He looked around and saw all the orks and the urk-hai dead. He looked at Erestor with questioning eyes.

Erestor looked at the carnage he had caused and didn’t know how to explain. /How do I explain this to Glorfindel? I dont want him to know about my skills hell I haven’t even told Elrond. A little white lie wont hurt anybody./ Glorfindel looked at Erestor waiting for an answer then tried to move his legs and passed out. Erestor looked at his passed out comrade /Thank the valar./ and slowly started to gather tree branches and the like to make a stretcher and splints for Glorfindel. Ignoring his own wounds he carefully splinted the blonde’s legs and made the stretcher. With his task complete the dark haired elf took off his tunic and looked at his wound hissing at the pain. Gently Erestor cleaned his injury. He then opened his pack bag and pulled out a black tunic and put it on and put Glorfindel on the stretcher lashing him to it. Erestor mounted his horse and tied the reigns of Glorfindel’s horse to his saddle. /This is going to be a long trip back to Imaldris and I bet that Lord Elrond will be just thrilled to know that his lover was almost killed. Lets see at this rate it will take us at least three days to get to Imaldris and maybe one if we dont rest the night and I push the horses./ He was so lost in his thoughts that it took him a minute to realize that someone was speaking or was it moaning. He stopped the horse got off and approached Glorfindel. "Glorfindel can you hear me? Is everything alright?"

Glorfindel opened his eyes after hearing his named called, "Aye I can hear you, but can I have some water?" Erestor nodded and handed the water over to the blonde elf. Erestor watched Glorfindel and took the canteen when he was through with it. He checked Glorfindel’s temperature. Glorfindel pushed Erestor away not noticing the wince, "Will you please quit it?. Now where are we going to stay the night?" Glorfindel asked.

"We aren't going to take a break nor stop. I'm going to push the horses and continue to Imaldris as I can’t fix your injuries." Erestor looked at Glorfindel’s face and realized he was going to argue. "Dont even open your mouth. We are going on. I dont know if you realized it but there were twenty-one orks and one urk-hai normally its twenty-five so one urk-hai and at least three orks are missing. We have to keep moving." Erestor stared at Glorfindel until he nodded and quickly got up. That was a mistake Erestor almost fell over from the dizziness and had to lean on a horse masking his actions by petting and crooning at the animal. /Damn I over pushed myself./ He moved his hand acting like he was petting the horse only to find blood all over his tunic. /Blood. That’s not good if the wound hasn't closed yet this is going to be a lot harder. /

Glorfindel saw the black haired elf sway on his feet and asked, "Erestor are you okay you look a bit pale?" He observed the elf trying to find out what was wrong with him but couldn't get a good look at him in the dark.

"Aye, Glorfindel I am fine just a bit tired. Dont worry I'll live. Besides if I didn't live who would annoy you and test your patience and anger?" Erestor turned around and mounted his horse carefully. The dark haired elf pulled up his tunic and looked at the wound and saw that it was getting irritated. He pulled his tunic down and looked at the pace they were going. /Okay well at this pace we will get there in two days./ He sighed and checked on Glorfindel over his shoulder; he then opened his senses to the night. He could hear birds and small animals but nothing else lulling him into a half-awake state. As the horses went farther into the woods Erestor started to hear less and less life around him.

Glorfindel who had been listening to the night didn't hear anything. It went from the animals making noise to absolute silence. He watched Erestor dismount and walk over to him. "Do you hear it Erestor?" Erestor nodded his head in agreement. "I think we have just found those three missing orks and urk-hai."
"Yes what do we do? You know as well as I that I can not fight I am not a warrior. Glorfindel tell me what to do." Erestor pleaded. /Okay one I can take care of myself two I have excellent skills with weapons three if he would just pass out again this wouldn't be a problem. Okay so how to knock him out?/ "Glorfindel would you like some water?" Glorfindel eyed Erestor like he had grown another head. "Glorfindel dont give me that look your just going to have to tell me how to defend myself and I don't want your throat to get dry."

Glorfindel looked at Erestor and nodded his head. He watched as the other elf walked off and grabbed the canteen but didn't pay enough attention to see Erestor slip a powder in the canteen as he opened it and reclosed it before giving it to Glorfindel Before walking back to the blonde’s side Erestor pulled his weapons out of his saddle bag and carefully hid them in his cloak. Holding the canteen out to the blonde he watched as the other elf consumed the liquid. “Thank you. Now grab my sword." He looked at Erestor expecting him to at least move. "Well get my sword." Glorfindel just watched Erestor stand up and dump the water out of the canteen and put it back on the saddle. "What are you doing?"

"Sorry Glorfindel but this is the only way I can do what’s needed." Erestor looked at him with an evil look in his eyes. "Besides wont it be laughable when Elrond finds out you didn't smell the water to see if it was spiked. Oh I can just hear the entire court laughing at your stupidity. The great Balrog slayer betrayed by a naught elf." Erestor was waiting for the signs of sleepiness to kick in and just about laughed at Glorfindel’s facial expression.

The blonde elf looked at Erestor in amazement grew angry when he realized the words. "YOU WILL DO NO SUCH THING." Glorfindel’s face began to turn red. "I trusted you and you broke that trust how could you? You truly are as heartless as they say. You have no emotion that you can share with the world except coldness. At least I have a legend you on the other hand are as what you said a nobody elf no one will remember you when you are gone."

Erestor watched Glorfindel get madder and madder with his words. "I have no need for emotion or heart. All they do is turn allow people to use such things against you especially your emotions. You should learn from your mistakes and not trust anyone even if they appear to be a friend. I dont need to be remembered as you said who would ever remember an elf that is nothing."

Glorfindel’s eyes were getting distant but he tried to keep awake. "When Elrond finds out that you betrayed him and your own kind he'll hunt you down and kill you. He will ... not ... let you get ... away ... and when he finds me ... and releases me ... I ... wi..ll... kill .................. you with.....out....mer..c..y," And with that Glorfindel fell asleep.

/What a waste doesn't even know what he's saying. Well time to get to work./ An arrow sailed through the air and struck Erestor in his right shoulder. He turned around and charged with his long knives and killed the orks that appeared one by one. One losing his head one losing the whole top of his body and the last losing his head and left arm. He searched for the urk-hai that he knew that led them and almost had his head cut off by a sword from behind. He turned around and attacked the urk-hai but was not expecting to get cut in the side as he lopped the head off the creature before him. He gasped in pain and cursed himself for letting his guard down. He cleaned his knives and replaced them in their sheaths in the saddle bags. Erestor took off his cloak and ripped it into pieces and tied and bandaged his wounds with the cloth. The dark haired elf mounted his horse and set off at a fast pace through the forest knowing that with a knocked out Glorfindel he could set a faster pace without hurting the blonde.

Morning was rising and Erestor had been riding for at least five hours when he distantly heard Glorfindel start to wake. /I must try to act normal. By the gods please just let me make it. I am not ready to join the other fallen./ Erestor’s horse sensing its master’s pain moved faster faltering over a branch causing Erestor to pass out.

"What is going on my head is killing me?" Glorfindel moved his hands up to realize that he was moving and turned his head back looking up to see Erestor sitting on the beautiful black horse. Looking again he saw his own mount following behind. By looking at the sky the blond knew they were heading towards Imaldris. He wanted to get as far away from the dark haired elf as possible for his treachery. "STOP RIGHT NOW. I DEMAND YOU STOP YOUR HORSE." When the elf on the horse didn't stop he became angry and picked up a branch that he passed on the stretcher and threw it at Erestor. The branch hit Erestor in the back and nothing happened the dark haired didn't turn around and make a witty remark to Glorfindel for his childish actions. The dark haired elf said absolutely nothing nor did he turn around. "Erestor you can stop playing now and talk." When nothing happened Glorfindel tried again. "Come on you cold hearted bastard what is the matter? Mad because I called you the traitor that you are or what?" The blonde headed elf was starting to get mad at the Dark haired elf when he sensed something was wrong not only did Erestor not reply to the taunts but he didn't even move when the branch had hit him in the back. He listened /Okay so Erestor is still breathing so he is not dead but his breathing is not regular. He could be asleep./ He looked down and saw blood on the ground as the horses kept moving. /Blood no one is hurt unless/ Glorfindel shifted his head to look at Erestor and at that moment noticed how pale Erestor was and watched the advisors hand fall from where it was placed over his stomach when the horse he was riding faltered. The dark haired elf’s hand was black with dried blood. Glorfindel watched as fresh blood fell off the advisors hand and hit a rock along the path.

The first thing that went through the Balrog slayers mind was /Well that could have went better the second thing was ERESTORS DEAD the third thing was your alone in the forest not knowing how far away from Imaldris you are the fourth thing is that what should I do? The fifth thing was ERESTORS DEAD. HE'S DEAD./ Glorfindel looked beyond and saw the edge of the woods and also the beginnings of Imaldris. Glorfindel told Erestors horse to hurry up and take the two elves home. The horse snorted at Glorfindel and galloped to the courtyard of Lord Elrond’s home.

Glorfindel passed through the gates and waved at his men as he passed and entered the courtyard of the last homely house. He saw some of his men come running to see what the problem was he yelled, "Get Lord Elrond and the healers quickly." He passed by them and realized he hadn't told his horse to stop.

Before any of the soldiers could do as Glorfindel asked Elrond and his twin boys came running. Elrond grabbed the reigns of Glorfindel’s horse who continues to prance while the twins calmly grabbed Erestor’s black mount who stood as still as a statue. "Glorfindel what happened to you and Erestor?"

"My Lord Elrond orks and urk-hai attacked us in the forest and I protected Erestor and in the process the orks and urk-hai broke both my legs. Will you make that horse stop moving." Glorfindel had a terrible headache and the horses hooves weren’t helping.

Lord Elrond just smiled and handed the reins of Glorfindel’s mount over to one of the twins and laughed as the horse quit moving after bumping into the black horse at its side. Lord Elrond turned his head to ask Erestor a question only to watch as Erestor fell off his horse and onto the ground without making a sound.

Elrond could only watch in horror as the dark haired brunette fell off his horse and landed on the ground face first without making a sound. Elrond dropped the reigns and ran over to his advisor. He rolled his friend over and looked at the elf’s face that had a cut down the left side, and the eyes held nothing but a vague glimmer of life. Elrond checked Erestor’s pulse and felt its sluggish movement.

"Elladan … Elrohir get Glorfindel to the healers immediately. Elladan when that is done you and your brother come back here and bring me a stretcher. Get a room ready that is alone and won’t have any interruptions." Elrond felt Erestor’s head to look for any kind of injuries that he had missed. He put his hand on the elf’s chest to see if he was breathing and when he pulled away his hand was covered in blood. Elrond looked up and saw his two sons coming in his direction with the stretcher.

Elrond stood in one motion and let his children help him get Erestor onto the stretcher. When they started to move Erestor Elrond looked down and almost fainted at was on the oure white stones of the courtyard. The red liquid was pooling not only around where the dark haired elf had fell but also around the mount that the elf had ridden as it dripped off the horses coat. Erestor’s clothes had been so full of blood that where he had lane was a perfect mark of his torso. "Elladan Elrohir move now we need to get him to the healing house.” At the twins hesitation Elrond lost his patience, “NOW." The twins didn't question their father following their father’s orders rushing Erestor to the healing house. They slammed the doors open and took off at a full run to the room they had prepared for Erestor with the dark haired elf in tow.

Glorfindel watched Elrond, Elladan, and Elrohir rush by with Erestor laying on the stretcher and he observed how deathly pale Erestor had become. /Why is Erestor so pale? I feel sorry for him maybe Lord Elrond would let me share a room with him when he thinks he is recovered and well enough for company. Whoa back up where did that thought come from? / Glorfindel started to frown at his thoughts that were just about the elf in the other room. /Why do I care all of a sudden it's not like we have anything in common or anything else? We can't even get along we argue all the time./

Elladan came back out of the room and came running back down the corridor after a few minutes with bags of herbs in his hand stopping at the blonde’s room. "Glorfindel, Ada will come and talk to you he wants to know what is wrong with Erestor for him to have lost so much blood. He'll be out when Erestor has stabilized some." Elladan went back in to the room that held Erestor and gave the herbs that his father had sent him to get. "Ada how is he? He looks so pale should he be like this? Ada is Erestor going to be okay?" Elladan gave Elrond a scared look.

"Elladan calm yourself pen-neth he will be just fine as long as we can get him to swallow these and the potions that I make. First we must get his clothes off to see how bad his wounds are and to clean the rest of the dirt and cleanse the wound. Now Elrohir dont look like that give me those scissors, and take the other pair and began at the pants leg and go up until they are completely off. Elladan grab those bandages. Good. Now put that package of herbs in that bowl of warm water," Elrond ordered his sons.

Elrond and Elrohir were concentrating so hard on getting Erestor’s clothes off that they didn’t look at his body as they began to clean it. They were to busy concentrating and arguing on what to put into Erestor to make him regain his life. An abrupt shattering of glass on the floor made them look up at Elladan and see the look of pure horror and pity on his face. "Elladan what is wrong with you my child," asked Elrond.

"Ada look at Erestor’s body there’s..." Elladan swallowed hard not knowing what to say to the sight before him. He walked out of the room quickly to begin another batch of medicine and to get more clean water for Erestor’s wounds.

Elrond an Elrohir looked down at Erestor’s body to only look up in horror at each other. Erestor’s body was covered with scars from his torso all the way down to his ankles. Some of the scars were old and barely seeable, while others looked like lengths of rope that had been laid on his body and others that were dark lines. The scars looked like some happened when Erestor was an elfling and some just a few years ago. The wounds that they didn’t know how Erestor got were going to leave even more scars on the elf. Elrond and his son looked up at each other with tears in their eyes and then looked towards the door as Elladan came in and closed the door behind him.

"Is this why Erestor never wears anything that shows his body Ada? These scars are the worst that I've ever seen. Not even our warriors bear scars like this or anything like them not even Glorfindel." Said Elrohir.

Elrond sighed at Elrohir’s words not knowing what to say. /If only I knew what caused all these. What Elrohir says is true and I hate having to let both my children see such things. / Elrond looked at Erestor and sighed not knowing what to do with the cold hearted elf. "Very well let’s clean all these wounds Elrohir you take the wound through the middle and tell me if you find shards in him. Elladan you do the same only to the side wound."

"Ada what will you be doing?" Elladan asked looking scared.

Elrond Sighed and rolled up his sleeves to his robes and began to pull the arrow head out of Erestor’s right shoulder. He then poured some different kinds of potion down Erestor’s throat. "I am going to start healing his body and check for internal wounds with healing powers. Now do as I told you." Elrond Pushed his power into Erestor and healed the wound on his shoulder and pushed into his mind to see if he could call his friend back from the brink.

Erestor started to come out of his passed out state as he felt someone push into his mind calling his name. He started pushing against the person going too deep into his mind forcefully pushing them out while putting up barriers in the process. The dark haired elf smelled the air around him and recognized Lord Elrond and the twins smell easily and that he was in the healing house. /Okay so I' surrounded by the twins and Lord Elrond sitting at my back! This is not good they're in my personal space. Cold air on skin. No clothes. Wait no clothes damn. No one is supposed to know about my scars. / Someone pulled something out of his stomach and he passed out.

Elrond got out from behind Erestor after being pushed out of Erestor’s mind and laid the dark haired elf back down. He watched his sons treat Erestor’s wounds. /That is impossible no one has ever pushed me out of there mind not even the Lady of the Woods. I must think on this later. /

"Ada will you pull Erestor up while we put the bandages on him? Ada can you hear me?" Elladan looked at his brother in silent question and watched as Elrohir snapped his fingers in front of Elrond’s face and was amused to watch his father jump. "Ada will you pull Erestor up while we put the bandages on him?"

Elrond glared at his son with a look that he would pay him back for that later. Then he turned to his other son, "Yes just make sure that you have the bandages with antiseptic on it." Elrond pulled the elf on the bed up and watched as his sons carefully wound the bandages around him carefully. Elrond laid the elf in his arms down when his children were finished. "Good now lets go talk to Glorfindel to try and get some answers out of him." Elrond turned around and walked out of the room but before he got to the door, "Dont tell Glorfindel anything about Erestor’s scars, but you can tell him about the wounds that he has acquired." Elrond turned and walked through the door.

The twins looked at each other and followed there father out the door and to Glorfindel’s room. //Brother why do you think that Ada won’t let us tell Glorfindel anything about Erestor?// Elladan sighed and looked at his brother expectantly.

//Who knows Elladan. Ada may not want to worry Glorfindel, or he might just want to keep this very quiet and not have any outside forces causing problems. He also might keep quiet because Erestor never told us about the scars and has never told us about his life before us. That is a question that only Ada can answer.// Elrohir pulled his brother out of the way of an elf walking towards them with a pile of sheets.

//Elrohir why do you think that Erestor never tells us about his life as a child and is so cold to everyone that tries to get near. He's even cold to those he knows. Remember he was so cold and distant even as we were elflings and then when reached our majority he became even more distant and cold. Every time we go to him he answers us in a yes Lord Elrohir or Elladan its weird. I wonder what Glorfindel would do if he found out about all the scars.// Elladan shook his head pondering what he just said.

Elrohir looked at his brother pondering his words. //I dont know why he is so cold to people. I would also like to know why he is so cold to those that try to get closer to him.// Elrohir began to smirk at his brother. //Elladan I think we should send an anonymous note to our dear Glorfindel and let him know about Erestor. What do you think my brother?//

//Elrohir Ada and the rest of the household say I'm worse than you pulling tricks but I must disagree. Lets get busy.// Elladan smirked at his brother. /You know when we're through being little tattle tales maybe we could round up Legolas and go to our room to have some fun.// Elladan looked at his brother expectantly.

Elrohir looked at his brother and nodded his head. //Yes but this time I top both of you.//

Elladan looked at his brother in mock horror then snickered //Oh are you still soar from being on the bottom or from going at it all night long? Hmm maybe your right that all nighter was a little much oh well repeat would be nice.//

//Why brother I wouldn’t be talking you were the one on the bottom most of the time and as I remember you are also quiet vocal.// Elrohir smirked at his brother. //Plus you weren't complaining.//

The twins looked at each other and then at where they were and realized they were by Glorfindel’s bed and their father and Glorfindel were looking at them. The twin smirks were immediately wiped from their faces and innocent looks took there place.

"Should we even ask what is going through your mind my sons?" Elrond looked from one twin to the other and their blush didn't go unnoticed. "Very well," He turned to Glorfindel, "Now tell me what happened on the way back and dont leave out any details." Elrond commanded in a very strict voice.
