Beautiful Sunrise
“Rachel It’s 4:00 in the morning. Why do we have to go jogging now? Can’t we just wait until 10 or 11am?” Shannon whined.
“This is the best time to go running, besides you don’t want to miss the beautiful sunrise now do you?” Rachel asked.
“What about breakfast?”
“Look I’ll cook as soon as we return, I promise. Now hurry up and put your shoes on. Grab a coat I know how cold it gets in Deforest Park.” Rachel replied.
“ It better be a beautiful sunrise. Wait you’re in a sports bra and shorts, so why do I need a coat?…(pause and skeptical _expression) Who is he? “ Shannon asked.
“Who’s who?” Rachel replied.
“Don’t play stupid, it must be some guy you’re trying to impress otherwise you wouldn’t go jogging dressed like its 80 degrees outside, Now tell me his name.”
“What are you talking about? I just like to go jogging in this. I’m comfortable in these clothes.” Rachel said while turning away from Shannon. “ Oh alright, his name is Carter. He jogs towards Deforest Park sometimes but he never goes in there. He must be afraid of the rumors. But he is so cute. He has the sexiest little ass. I just want to grab it and, and oh who am I kidding? I want him. He seems like that bad boy type; you know muscular great abs conceited and ALL MAN!!! .” Rachel said with a blissful _expression on her face.
“Sounds like a wimp to me.” Shannon stated blankly
“What?”
“Well you say he his is afraid to go into deforest park, and that place isn’t haunted I mean you go there every morning and come back unharmed everyday and he see’s this; but is still afraid to go in. I just don’t consider any man who is afraid to do something a woman would do a man.
“You like ruining my day, don’t you Shannon?” Rachel asked
“You made me get up at 4:00am that’s just the price you have to pay.” Shannon said with a smirk on her face as she walked out the front door with Rachel not to far behind.

~ Back In Middle Earth~
“Legolas, you find wood for a fire and I’ll find something to eat. Be quick about it, Legend says Tamuríl haunts this forest.” Haldir told legolas as he scanned the area.
“Tamuríl? Who is that?” Legolas asked
“Tamuríl is a powerful witch that was cast here after the mysterious diearaearance of the prince of Wetherell. You probably don’t remember him. I thought you might have heard the stories when you were an elfling but I was mistaken. All the clues of his disappearance led to Tamuríl. She told the king and queen that he dese a l a life without all the riches he had because he was pure evil…(pause)
“Why would she think such of him?” Legolas asked.
“I met the prince once. You might think I’m arrogant but spend five minutes with Vardamir and I will seem like the nicest guy ever. I saw him in his parents garden, and there was a beautiful elf maiden with him her name was Nienna Feiniel. He tried everything in his power to woo her, but she wouldn’t give in. She was very loyal to her lover. I was hiding near the entrance watching the events take place. I didn’t want to leave for the sake of Nienna. The prince wasn’t going to just her her deny him. I was about to put an end to the situation when a guard called me and said the king requested my presence immediately. I knew I should have stayed but I didn’t.” Haldir whispered with a far off regretful _expression.
“What happened to Nienna?” Legolas asked
Haldirs eyes shot up meeting legolas’. “The Prince raped her then slit her throat. He buried her body somewhere in the forest that borders Carnesîr river.” Haldir said with anger that was building again.
“You were the one she was faithful to were you not?” Legolas asked as a hint of sadness and pity crossed his face.
“Yes. Our love was a secret since she was from Wetherell and I was from Lothlorien. The prince had his eyes on her for awhile so she was off limits to all elves. We met a few years ago when she came to stay in Lorien as a healer. That’s when I proclaimed my love for her; she told me of the princes desires but I could care less. I told her that we would wed one day and have a family. A few months later a request was sent for her return to Wetherell." Haldir said blankly. "Hurry up and find some fire wood, I dont feel safe in these woods we need to stay alert, It is getting dark and who knows what hides in the shadow of this forest.
