Summary:style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Verdana'> Gondor rules over all of Middle
Earth save for one large forest in the North-Western area, Mirkwood. As he
tried to unravel its mysteries he comes across a strange discovery, about
himself and the world around him. What happens when he meets the Commander of
the Elleselsian army? Read and find out. A/L and many other pairings.
Any thoughts will be in italics
for this chapter. Just so you know. This’ll start in Gondor two days after the
last chapter… well, the fist sentence… it’ll all make sense when you read it.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“I
am afraid, girls, that my companion and I must depart for the day. Miean,
please take Ika to the market today and buy her a basinet and some suitable
clothing. You shall find all the gold you need on my bedside. Niada, I want you
to stay out of trouble and-”
“Do
not rip my dress. I know father.” Legolas smiled and stood, Aragorn following
suit, handing the tall blonde girl the baby.
“Good
day father! Be safe and do not start any wars! Do not worry Lord Aragorn! Ika
shall be safe! I-”
“Hush
up!” Niada scolded and shut the door after the Elf and man.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“Send
in the Nine,” he whispered.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Screams
were echoing long after the initial attack began. Houses lay in ruin, farms
burned, lives ended. Nine shadows circled overhead, slowly descending and
touching the earth. Glorfindel hopped from his mount and looked through the wreckage
of the border towns of the Elleselsian forest. “See if any still live. If they
do… kill them.” He stepped over corpse after corpse, some bloodied and some
burned. As he walked through the mass of bodies and Gondorian soldiers, his
foot connected with what he thought was another corpse, but a soft moan issued
from her lips. He drew his blade and was ready to bring it down, when she
spoke.
“I
have a message for your captain…” she choked out, lungs filled with ash.
Halting his blade, Glorfindel knelt down and looked at the girl. Her face was
splattered with blood and she was covered with black ash, but she looked young.
“Speak,”
he hissed.
“They
hold him captive in the palace… they say they shall kill him…” Freezing,
Glorfindel scooped the girl up in his arms and mounted his beast.
“We
head back to Gondor.” Eight gazes landed on him, and he sent them all a firm
look. “We return to Gondor… Faramir must meet this one.” He motioned to the
girl in his arms and he soared up into the air, followed by a reluctant crew of
eight.

GONDOR
(a day later)
“Why
would you tell me secrets of your own people?” Faramir asked, sipping the red
wine that had been laid before him in a golden goblet.
“I
was betrayed myself,” the girl answered coolly. “Why would I die to protect a
people that would rather me drawn and quartered than live?” Faramir nodded
gravely.
“You
say they keep him locked away in the palace? How do you know this?” The girl
smirked, looking away from his gaze.
“I
know many things, captain of Gondor… and I shall tell them… if you are ready to
pay…”

style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman"'>A.N.:style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman"'> Okay, so it was really
short and took forever to be posted. My internet was down at home and I had to
use the library computers just to get on the net, but they won’t let you load
disks or stuff there, so I couldn’t post sooner, sorry! *cries* I’ll update
again soon and it’ll be a lot longer, I promise… I just wanted to get that
whole thing out of my system. As for ‘Maniacal Laughter’, anyone who was
reading it will notice its gone, deleted, no longer exists. Legolas was being a
bitch and I wanted to murder Aragorn, but I knew I couldn’t do that, so I gave
them both their two weeks notice and they packed up and left.
Greenp4lmstyle='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman"'>: Thanks for the review
of chapter 4, but it got there a bit late. Ah wells. Thanks, and I’m glad you
changed your mind on Etine. When I first came up with the plot, she was
supposed to be a sweet little girl who had no idea how to rule at all, but then
THAT happened. LOL, it’s alive!
Palkitty:style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman"'> Heehee, thank you. I am
glad you liked it.
Boundlight:style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman"'> As long as it’s in a
good way ;). Thanks.
Cat:style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman"'> I think you’re the most
enthusiastic reviewer since Gillian! I should have had 2 other storied, but
Legolas was pmsing so I had to delete one… but ah well. I’m glad you liked it,
and sorry it’s so short, but I’ll update again soon.
