~* "Within the blue
Cascading emotions
Overpowered by thoughts
Of a crystal moon.

My mind corrupt
And the eyes turned blind.
I think of truth
Too much of you.
Tell me to forget,
Told me to go away.
Taught me of a world,
Where only you stay.
I would leave, but for now
I'm here.
The pain is great,
Now it's too late.
And I'll never place
Fate in faith.
Again and again
Until tomorrow.
Because it's never too late
To pass the cascading gate.
Crystal emotions escaping you
Cascading you.
And I shall leave,
But for now I'm here
For this never-ending tale.
Feeling the love I felt for you,
And to weave the tale
Of the crystal moon.

It must be real,
It must be true.
It must be the love and emptiness
I get from you.

Forever too soon
Your crawl covers me.
Distorting all I see.
I'll be there,
Forever's Seed.
Touching Me.
Touching You.
Crying for the dew
Of our Crystal Moon. *~"

Leigh shut the little notebook once more, sliding it into the side-table drawer. She hated this.. this not knowing. This silence in the room overpowering her. Viggo and Orlando had been out there for a few hours now. What was the big deal, Orlando had kissed her, and she had kissed Viggo. What was the ordeal about anyway?

Sliding her feet to the floor, she moved across the room to the door, leaning her ear against the wood. She could always just go out there and demand an answer, demand a reason. But no, no she couldn't do that. She couldn't bring herself to do that, chicken. Always chicken shit. That, and she really had no right.

Taking advantage of finally being left alone, she had already gone through every dresser drawer, under the bed, every spot she could think of. Nothing here that she could use to kill the pounding in her head, the throbbing in her arms. A simple fix. Two hours out of here and she could cure this pain.

Frustration was kicking in, the pain taking control, the need overwhelming. She could actually feel the blood in her veins and it felt as if it were ten seconds from exploding out of her arms. She shut her eyes slowly and opened the bedroom door, leaving the mess. Slipping into the bathroom before anyone could see her, she began again, pulling out drawers and dumping the contents on the ground, opening every single medicine bottle in hopes of finding one misplaced pill that might help her out. Nothing. Not even a razor for shaving, she noted.

She wasn't even aware of the cry of frustration coming from her lips, or her fist hitting the mirror. All she knew was the need, and the waves of illness slipping over her stomach as she turned, grasping the toilet seat and allowing what little food she had eaten to come up. Gagging and spitting every little drop that would come out, she didn't even notice the banging on the bathroom door or the blood on her hand from the shattered glass. She didn't notice nor did she care. All that mattered was finding a release.

Hands pulled her hair back, someone was talking, then two people. Hell, it might of been three or zero for all she knew. Faint whispers, but not real words. The air around her wasn't real. Only the need. The need and getting this vomit out of her. She was only vaguely aware of a cup being placed to her lips, water poured down her throat, just to come back up again within moments. Her stomach was clinched, repelling everything. And she didn't care. Again the water, just to have something to spit up so that the stomach acid wouldn't burn as badly. She could only feel the pain in her body. The pain and the need.

She wasn't sure how long she was like that, over the toilet, throwing up. Just vaguely aware of the doctor returning, a needle in her arm. She jerked back, feeling the burn as the needle broke in her arm at her sudden jump, screaming and pushing him back. She didn't want to be touched, she wanted to be left alone. Left alone to remain on the floor until finally there was nothing left inside of her and she could slip off into whatever hell awaited her. Her body was on fire, burning with a need she couldn't fulfill. Stomach refusing everything offered, everything in it was now out. Her tears had long since stopped burning her eyes, everything was blurry.

She felt hands on her, pull her into a sitting position, arms wrapped around her, holding her tight against his chest. She felt a leg cross over her legs, and despite all of her struggling, screaming and even trying to bite him, nothing mattered for he didn't let up. She felt another set of hands grabbing her arm and pulling it out straight. The sensation creeping up her arm as a warm feeling came upon her. She wasn't aware this time of the doctor getting the needle in. The sedation working quite well, she finally went limp against Viggo, shutting her eyes and being content in not falling. Him holding her up carefully and then slipping an arm under her legs, carrying her to the bed.
