Jealousy and sorrow
All the way Legolas and Aragorn were found around each other; talking about everything and exchanging tender kisses.
Boromir looked at them; jealousy clearly written in his eyes as he thought /Legolas is mine, m-i-n-e, and I will get him back at all costs/. They got in the tomb where Balin was buried and were attacked by goblins.
Legolas did some great work with his bow and shot at the goblins; he was sxed xed on the goblins that he didn’t notice the cavetroll now was behind him and kept shooting goblins.
The cavetroll raised a claw and slammed Legolas hard against the rock wall; he immediately lost consciousness.
Boromir and Aragorn looked up and saw it. Aragorn snapped and took revenge on the cave troll and Boromir ran to Legolas and pulled him onto his lap and whispered “Hold on little one, don’t give up now”
Legolas was conscious again and said with a soft voice, “I’m not little, I’m bigger than you”
Boromir chuckled and kissed him on the head. Aragorn was jealous and said, “I’ll take him from you now Boromir”
There was blood all over Legolas’ body, he had some huge flesh wounds, Aragorn looked at him and then at Gandalf and said, “Will he be alright?”
Gandalf nodded and said, “Huh? O yes, yes he’ll be fine if…we can get him to Lothlorien in time”
Aragorn picked him up and, while following Gandalf, whispered “Don’t worry love, you’ll be ok”
Legolas rested his head against Aragorn’s chest.
Aragorn softly stroked Legolas’ face and they crossed the bridge of Khazad-dûm finally. All of them watch in fear and shock when the grey wizard fell down in the shadow.
Once they snapped out of it they made way to the exit and ran to the woods of Lothlorien in a quick pace and were surprised by Haldir and his brothers Rumil and Orophin.
Haldir glared at them and said “You have entered the realm of the lady of light, you cannot go further”
Aragorn looked at him and said, “’Haldir, please, Legolas is wounded, he needs help, I beg you”
Haldir took pity on the man and said, “Follow me, I’ll bring you to a room with him, the others follow Orophin to lady Galadriel.” He felt his younger brothers gaze on his back and turned to Rumil and said, “I need you to bring all medicinal supplies you can find”
Rumil nodded and ran off. Orophin guided the others to the lady whom asked them all about what happened to Gandalf.
Haldir took Aragorn and Legolas to the talan he shared with his brothers, Boromir had quietly followed them and sat down inside, next to the bed where Aragorn lay Legolas. Both men looked at Legolas with pain in their hearts.
