(NOTES)

This idea came to me a few years ago, but I never got around to

writing it. After months of the worse writers block in the history of

man, this idea came back with a vengeance! After chewing on my ankles

for the last week, I decided to sit down and write it. I must warn

you...this is a crossover between Star Wars/LOTR. It is also a AU

from a galaxy far far away in my little warped mind! **In this fic

Qui-Gon never died! As a matter of fact......it was another Master

and Apprentice team that was sent to Naboo!!! This is set a few

years after Obi-Wan has been knighted.**

**Also over the years I see that there has been some confusion on the

color of Obi-Wan's eyes. Are they blue, or are they green? For this

fic, I took the safe road and decided to combine the colors....so his

eyes are hazel!**

Please Read and Review, as I don't know if I should continue with

this fic

Glorfindel and his guards had searched for several hours, before they

had even caught the first hint that the stranger had passed through

the area. The mark had been barely visible, just a scuff in a bit of

lose soil. The stranger's ability to move through rough terrain and

leave little to track him, impressed Glorfindel yet again.

"This stranger becomes more of a mystery by the second!" Glorfindel

hissed out in annoyance, as he once again failed to pick up on the

stranger's track. Growling softly under his breath, Glorfindel stood

from the small scuff mark he had been inspecting, and turned towards

the Master Scribe.

"I have to admit, it is impressive. I have never seen a being capable

of moving like this." Erestor said, as he glanced at Glorfindel.

Glorfindel noticed that Erestor seemed to be memorized by the nearby

tree line of a forest, and following the Scribe's line of sight, he

wondered what captivated him so.

"What is it, old friend?" Asked Glorfindel in a soft tone.

Erestor seemed to be startled at Glorfindel's question, as if his

mind had been miles away from where they were. "I don't know. It's a

feeling.......of wrongness." Erestor said, blushing at his in ability

to fully express himself.

At any other time Glorfindel would have loved to tease the Stern task

master before him for his lack of words, but now was not the time.

For he was starting to feel the sensation of ......wrongness that

Erestor had describe. The more he looked towards the edge of the

forest, the un-easier Glorfindel became. Something was not right!

"Guards! Time to move out!" Glorfindel called out, as he started

moving towards the forest.

(In the Forest)

As soon as Obi-Wan uttered those words, his saber was in his hand

humming with a life of it's own, as he sent out a force push strong

enough to blast the evil creatures in front of him yards away.

In the next second, he was executing a perfectly planned defensive

move, even before his feet were fully on the ground. Obi-Wan knew he

could not keep expending his energy in the condition he was already

in, and he decided that a hasty exit would be a wise one.

In one great leap Obi-Wan shot straight up into the air, and landed

with a slight bounce. The huge tree that had provided him with

shelter, had branches that seemed to shoot out into every direction,

and Obi-Wan effortlessly ran down the nearest one.

He jumped from tree to tree, with the ever increasing feeling of

weakness returning to his body. On his last jump, Obi-Wan had to

quickly grab onto the trunk of the tree, as a wave of dizziness

assaulted him.

Obi-Wan cried out in shock and pain, as a searing pain ripped through

the back of his thigh. Glancing down, Obi-Wan realized that one of

the creatures had got him with one of their arrows.

Realizing that the arrow might be poisoned, as the one he took a

glancing blow from before, Obi-Wan quickly jerked the arrow from his

flesh. Stifling a scream of pain, he knew that the arrow caused more

damage coming out, then it had going in. But, hopefully the massive

bleeding from the wound would help to drain some of the poison from

his system.

Taking a deep breath, Obi-Wan drew his saber as he turned around,

ready to face the creatures on the ground.

Obi-Wan shook his head, trying to clear the confusing images crossing

his vision, because surely what he was seeing was not in fact

happening.

There below his position that was at least a good fifty feet in the

air, was the same group of travelers that he had helped some hours

before. Each beautiful being fighting fierily against the evil

creatures.

(Elves)

Glorfindel came across the group of orcs almost by accident. They

seemed intent on casing something through the forest, and Glorfindel

had a feeling what that "something" was.

As he swung his sword at the nearest orc, who's head was now rolling

across the forest's floor, movement in the trees caught his attention.

Gloefindel sucked in a shocked breath of air, as he watch a gingered-

haired Adan effortlessly glide through the tree branches much like an

elf would have.

The human male wore cream and ivory colored tunics, with a matching

pair of dark brown leggings and obi around his waist. The dark brown

knee high boots, caught a person's attention with the sun glinting

off of the silver buckles adoring it, and Glorfindel could tell that

the leather used to make the boots were unlike anything that he had

ever seen before.

Glorfindel winced, as he saw the orc arrow slam into the stranger's

upper thigh, and he prayed to the Valar that the man's stength would

hold out for a few more minutes.

In the few seconds that it took for Glorfindel to take in the

surrounding situation, he saw that his guards had taken care of the

remaining orcs, and had the area secured.

Just to Glorfindel's left, he saw as Erestor came to a running halt,

the scribe's eyes trained to where he knew the Adan to be in the tree.

He could also see the surprise clearly written across Erestor's face.

"HE IS GOING TO FALL!" Erestor suddenly screamed out, and Glorfindel

snapped his head back towards the human.

Only to watch in horror, as the Adan plunged head first towards the

ground.
