This is work of fiction! I do not know the celebrity(ies) I am writing about, and I do not profit from these writings.
Drunken man’s tongue.
They were all getting sloshed either on Grolsch, Warsteiner or Killian. Three of the finest types of ale in the world as far as Dom was concerned. Lij, Billy, Orlando and himself were at a club they went to when the afterparty was getting boring. Vig and Sean had left already. They had early appointments tomorrow, so they really had to go.
Rock, punk was blasting, crowd was dancing, girls were swooning, beer was flowing. Linkin Park, The Ramones, Stone Roses, T- Rex. They were having the times of their lives; goofing off, dancing like madmen.
It was getting very late. It was almost closing time, so the DJ changed the music into something slow to cool the crowd off. People were starting to leave the dancefloor, making plans to go home. Dom just returned from the toilets, when he heard the lyrics.
“You don't know how long I have wanted
to touch your lips and hold you tight, oh
You don't know how long I have waited
and I was gonna tell you tonight
But the secret is still my own
and my love for you is still unknown
Alone
Till now I always got by on my own
I never really cared until I met you
And now it chills me to the bone
How do I get you alone
How do I get you alone”
“And I was gonna tell you tonight”. “Hmm, maybe not such a bad idea. Not bad at all. Good idea. Great idea! Now or never! Carpe, uh? Noctem?”
“Dommie! Dom! Come on, we’re going home!” Billy yelled. “Wha?? Hu, yes, kay! We’re going home!” “Orlando and Lij are getting a cab outside.” “Cab? Oh, sure, sure. You know I love you right?” There, he had said it. “Yeah Dommie, I love you too. Now come on before they throw us out.” Billy took Dom’s arm and flung it around his neck. “No Billy, really! Really, really, really loves you! I do. I do.” “Shush, shush. It’s all right. I do believe you. Now come along.” Billy would have said anything at that point to get Dom home. Jennifer would kill him if Dom didn’t get home in one piece and besides that, he was so tired, that he couldn’t wait to go to sleep. He tipped the amused and curious doorman and dragged Dom along outside. Dom resumed the “I love you Billy-speech.” LOUD. It felt really good to get it finally of his chest and now that it was out there, he really wanted Billy to take him seriously. “To take me seriously,” he thought. That was FUN-NY! He started laughing out loud like a maniac; almost causing himself to fall to the pavement.
Billy was desperate for the cab now. He hollered out to Elijah: “Please Lij, help me to get Dom up.” Elijah slowly came drifting along and assisted Billy the best he possibly could.
Dom was standing as straight as was possible and had stopped laughing. “What if Billy didn’t love HIM? What an awful thought! So… sad!” Drunken man’s tears were welling up and soon Dom’s face was covered with tears. Both Billy and Elijah noticed the tears and were confused by his behaviour. “Dom? Dom, what’s the matter? Are you al right?” “I just want you to love me, you know?” “Wow!” said Elijah, “a drunken man’s tongue never lies. Did you know that? Drunks and children and mad people. Yeah! And I should know cause I’m totally hammered myself.” Elijah began to giggle. “Billy, don’t you see? He’s really in love with you.”
Before Billy could let sink Lij’s words in, Orlando yelled that he had found a cab.
