so it begins
*The stay in Rivendell*
The 600-year-old Legolas heard noises coming from the room his father had been given. It sounded like he was in pain, Legolas wondered if he should go and help his father, for Erestor had left for some days to Lothlorien for a friendly visit. He walked to the door and quietly opened it, peeking inside.
Thranduil cried out of joy when Glorfindel drove him to his peak.
Legolas saw Glorfindel and his father and thought Glorfindel was the one that caused him pain and stepped inside and said “Glorfinny? What are you doing to ada?”
Glorfindel looked up in shock, not having an idea what to say or how to explain.
Thranduil looked at his son and said, “You’ll find out when it is time”
Legolas pouted but left the room and looked for the twins. When he found them he asked them about it, but they knew just as little as him.
The three asked Elrond, but he told them the same as Thranduil had told Legolas.
*Numbers of years later, the council in Rivendell*
Thranduil had bid Legolas to go to the council in Rivendell, so he did. There he was representing the elves and looking around. He saw many different races including dwarves. /Dwarves/, he thought, /Such ignorant creatures/ and snapped out of his thoughts when he saw Lord Elrond approaching.
It seemed so boring, but Legolas paid him full attention. A man stood up, muttering something about how Gondor should have the ring. /Foolish man/ he thought.
It was then that Aragorn spoke. Aragorn was a close friend of Legolas and he tried to explain to the man that no one could use it, but the man would have none of that.
Obviously Boromir didn’t know a thing about who Aragorn was.
Legolas jumped up from his chair, sticking up for Aragorn and said “This is no mere ranger, he is Aragorn son of Arathorn. You owe him your allegiance.”
Aragorn was touched by the actions of Legolas and smiled but told him to sit down after some other words had been spoken.
The man muttered some more but then sat down.
Gandalf looked at Boromir and said “Aragorn is right, we cannot control it.”
Lord Elrond spoke up some more. /The dwarf didn’t think of his actions, of course, that’s what dwarves good at/ Legolas thought as the dwarf made an attempt to destroy the ring with his axe.
Elrond sighed and said “The ring cannot be destroyed, Gimli, son of Gloin, by any craft that we here possess. The Ring was made in the fires of Mount Doom. Only there can it be unmade. It must be taken deep into Mordor, and cast back into the fiery chasm from whence it came. One of you must do this.”
And just as Legolas expected Boromir to do he muttered again. Finally he had enough and said “Have you heard nothing Lord Elrond has said?! The ring must be destroyed!”
Gimli started muttering against the elf that elves cannot be trusted, causing a small argument between the races.
Finally a hobbit, Frodo Baggins got up, saying he would take the ring.
/Right/ Legolas thought.
Silence returned as the hobbit continued his sentence.
Gandalf of course offered his help to bear the burden, but to his shock Aragorn did the same. “By my live or death I can protect you, I will, you have my sword,” he heard Aragorn saying. There was no way he would let Aragorn stand alone, he needed to come along and said “And you have my bow”
Legolas looked a bit troubled when the dwarf said he would come as well. Boromir was considering it, but at the end he agreed.
They gathered and left Rivendell, starting the journey to Mordor.
But las las didn’t know it was also his journey to lose his virginity.
