Revelations
A.N: Sorry it took me a lifetime to update this fic. From now on all the chapters will be kinda short. Sorry. Don’t have as much time to write as I did in the past, with work and all.

Lying down, Legolas tried to find solace in the world of dreams.
However, sleep eluded the elven prince. Images of Rachel flooded his
weary mind and once again he felt lost.
'She said she's willing to do whatever it takes to make their relationship work.
In other words, I'm out of the picture,' he thought.
Sitting on the ledge of the window Legolas gazed at the stars above, but
they gave no comfort.
He stood up and looked at the wall dividing his room from Rachel's.
Slowly he walked over to the wall gently placing his forehead against
it. "What must I change so that I might gain your love?" Legolas whispered.
Despite Rachel's silent rejection he could not stand aside and give up on
love. Taking a deep breath in an attempt to gain confidence Legolas left
the room and stood outside her door. Turning the knob Legolas entered
the dark room; the desire to be near her took control as he laid down next
to Rachel.
She stirred at the sudden movement but did not fully wake. Gently pulling
her into his arms, Legolas kissed her forehead. The feel of her against
him was comforting, and he watched her sleep before the world of dreams
consumed him as well.

“He loves you Rachel, do not fight what your heart truly desires. Danger
comes in all forms, but love will protect you.” The voice was but a whisper
of a woman, yet it held some strange power within its depths.
'Who are you?' Rachel asked the transparent being. "What danger am I in?'
“Time is against you, for all will reveal it self sooner than you think.”
"What do you want me to do?" Rachel asked, panicking. An image of Legolas
stumbling backwards holding his side flooded her vision. Blood flowed from
the wound as he looked up at her in pain.
'You did this to me…' he said before falling to the ground.
'Nooooo!' Rachel screamed as she was pulled into oblivion.

Rachel awoke with a cry shattering the stillness.
Legolas jumped and embraced her telling her it was but a dream.
"Oh Legolas!" she cried. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I can not bear to lose
you.”
"I am here," he replied trying to calm her. "What would make you say such a
thing?"
"Listen…I didn't mean what I said last night. It was all a lie. Oh how could
I have made such a foolish mistake? I heard myself speaking but I meant none
of the words that I said to Carter. I…I want you. I love you Legolas."
Rachel sniffed. She did not tell him of what happened in her dream she
could only focus on letting him know of her affection.
Legolas was struck silence. The only thing he could do was kiss her. Only
ending the kiss from lack oxygen. Legolas finally spoke.
"I love you too Rachel." he added before pulling her down on the soft
pillows.
"I know Legolas. I am yours to love." she responded.
~~~~~Phone Rings~~~~~
"Hello?" Rachel answered her phone after it rang twice.
"Thank God it’s you Rachel! Look, I overreacted last night, but I promise
I'll make it up to you at dinner tonight. Just give me chance to prove that
I'm not some raging jealous lunatic," Carted pleaded with a hint of
sincerity.
"Carter…we…we need to talk." Rachel stated, her voice flat.
