An Arrogant Elf
Warning: SHORT CHAPTER…..This chapter may be confusing… Shannon is dreaming and she is talking to haldir in her dream but she is saying everything out loud without realizing it. Then she wakes up..
Chapter 15 An Arrogant Elf
Haldir walked into the living room and noticed Rachel was talking into a ‘phone’ as Shannon called it. Hearing her mention Carters name, he curled his mouth in disgust before deciding to give her some privacy. He headed towards Shannon’s room. Raising his hand to knock Haldir paused when he heard Shannon’s voice.
“No.. Haldir stop… ok don’t stop” Shannon giggled.
‘What is going on?’ Haldir thought. Slowly opening the door he noticed that the lights were off and Shannon was asleep on her bed. She had a huge smile on her face, and Haldir couldn’t help but smile, at the fact that she was dreaming of him.
“Get over here Haldir” Shannon said seductively.
Standing still Haldir didn’t know what to do. She was calling him in her dream but not reality; and that frustrated him. Debating whether to actually go to her or watch her, he slowly made his way over to Shannon’s bed.
“Took you long enough.” She whispered.
Sitting down at the foot of her bed Haldir stared at her. Pretending she was really speaking to him. Closing his eyes he could only imagine what he was doing to her in her dream. Letting out a low moan, his eyes flashed open as he heard Shannon gasp.
Shocked eyes met lustful orbs, and both sat that way before realization hit.
“Wh…What are yoingoing in here?” Shannon whispered, anger and suspicion slowly rising.
“I should ask you the same?” Haldir said smiling.
“What’s that suppose to mean? This is my room.” Shannon spat out covering herself up with her blanket.
“There is no need to attempt to cover up. You are still in your clothes.” Haldir replied with a smirk.
“What are you talking abo-” looking down she realized she hadn’t changed into her PJ’s. closing her eyes Shannon took a deep breath, in attempts to suppress her anger. “Why are you in here Haldir?”
“I came to apologize when I heard you talking. Calling my name actually.” He said arrogantly.
“You’o fuo full of yourself, why would I be calling your name?” Shannon said crossing her arms.
Raising an eyebrow, Haldir scooted closer to Shannon. His lips barely an inch from her ear and whispered, “No.. Haldir stop… ok don’t stop.” mocking the emotions she displayed earlier.
Turning bright red Shannon wished the earth would open up and swallow her. It was bad enough she let him get to her in front of everyone, but to walk in on her fantasizing about him was just too muc

“If you desired me Shannon, you should have said something sooner.” Haldir said in a cocky tone. “We could have satisfied our needs a long time ago. Or do you prefer to control me in your dreams?”
Embarrassment and now anger, this elf brought out the worst in her. Balling her hands into fists Shannon was ready to punch the egotistical elf. But she couldn’t raise her hand to hit him. She was livid, yet unable to do anything about it. This elf hendeendered her speechless again, and for a moment she wanted to cry.
The object of her affection sat in front of her, mocking, yet tempting. Knowing what she desired and using it to his advantage.
Waiting for the smart remark that never came Haldir wondered if he’d gone too far. He saw the fury pulsating at Shannon’s temples, and felt bad for making her so angry. Unable to control himself Haldir pulled Shannon close to him, in a passionate kiss.
In retaliation Shannon took her revenge by attempting to dominate the arrogant elf.
‘At least I can be in control of him in one aspect of my life’. She added mentally.
The connection between them had increased, and for a moment Haldir was able to hear Shannon’s thoughts.
“This isn‘t a dream Shannon,” Haldir whispered. ‘I guess she accepted my apology…We’ll see who stays in control’ he thought. Haldir couldn’t help but smile, as Shannon continued to seek out what she desired, in the elf that caused so much drama in her life.
