This is cute. Personally, I think you should have Glorfindel overhear Thranduil talking to Elrond about his son and then have the confrontation. It'll bring drama into the story.

To be honest, i have no clue why you started this fic if you didn't intend to finish. However the plot is really good and i think you should continue but i can take over your mind and firce you to continue, so whatever.

So if you've definitely got no plans to finish this fic, why bother starting it in the first place? Seems pretty pointless to me, especially when people (myself included) are enjoying it after only the first two chapters.
