For some reason, I had the Beatles song, "Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey," playing through my head for this whole chapter. :-) Oooh, the admission of homosexuality by both Haldir and Legolas -- the first step in a burgeoning relationship. But where are these evil humans taking my ... er, I mean, your elves? Yeah, that's it, your elves.

*shivers with a frisson of wonderful trepidation* Can't wait for more!

Ahh, I loved that Thranduil running about in the trees! Lovely. but you can't end there... how am I supposed to pass my "judement" when I don't know what happens?

Really really like this. It's both horrific, exciting and funny. It reminds me a lot of Gladiator. I see many possibilities of making this fic very long indeed. Wanna know what's gonna happen. Please UPDATE. Soon.

This isnt really a review......more like a shameless plea for an update. I know Mawgy has gone back to school, but I'm jonesing over here. I need my NWO fix.......SOON! LOL Nah, I don't really mean to nag, but in case you're wondering.......your faithful readers are still here and anxiously awaiting the next chappie. :)

This is a great plot and I hope you write more soon!

Wow that was great! At first I was like, oh it'll be another one of those Legolas gets raped by mean men and Haldir comforts him and then they fall in love stories, but it's not (so far...) a Haldir/Legolas sex scene is much more appealing than those overdone rape scenes anyway, don't you think;)

Aw. Haldir shouldn't feel guilty -- I mean, it is completely understandable that he does, and no amount of telling himself that it was for his own survival will likely keep him from feeling like a murderer, but ... *sniffle* I've never really liked Haldir (nothing personal, Haldir, love) but I like him in this story, if only because he is so sad and lonely. He was really doing that poor soul a favor in killing him, I think.

I like that you two are taking your time in telling the story. I haven't read any of Mawgy's work (do you write fanfic and not just beta?) but I expect no less from you, Ash! I love this story, and can't wait to find out what's next. I suppose I must wait, though, lest I steal your collective minds (your's from your sister, Mawgy) and force you to write faster under.

Weather bricks. I still don't understand them. :-)

You two are killing me here! You've done an incredible job of depicting the conditions Haldir and Legolas are living with in that cell; I almost feel like I'm in there with them. I'm sorry I didn't review the last couple of chapters very quickly, but I'm still riveted by this story. Please keep going; it just keeps getting better! You are a helluva team! ;)
