Shivers down my spine...

Oh, my. Things certainly have taken a turn. Faramir’s encounter with the Palantir helped him grow a spine (standing up to Aragorn, and all). Eowyn, poor, poor Eowyn, now a shell of her former self. And something tells me Valawen is not going to appreciate Faramir’s reward!
I can feel the tension coming to a head, I don’t think this is going to end the way any of them (even Aragorn) think it will. Or maybe it’s just my overactive sense of DOOOOOOOM! *grins*

It's really getting hard reviewing without repeating oneself now, lol! :) I love the fact, that other characters like Eowyn and Faramir are so much more prominent. I also realized during this chapter what it actually IS, that the Palantir is doing (and yes, I know your stories are AU). What I mean is this: In the book, the effects of the Palantir where sometimes described a little shady and it wasn't until I was reading this chapter of your story, that I became fully aware of one of the effects of the Palantir in Tolkien's book: The physical as well as the emotional yearning for it (almost like the ring to some degree or like a drug). The feeling of not being complete unless you hold it again. I think it complements the moments with Pip and the Palantir very nicely - bookwise and moviewise. :)
Oh, one thing I noticed: When your OC is making up her excuse to Eowyn in order to get to see Arargorn and Eowyn asks her what she wants to talk to him about she says: "The elves, I want to know if Elrohir and Elladan said anything to him." Now, that sounds as if she is talking about members of another race, when in fact she is an elf like them. If you leave out "the elves" it works much better. After all, Eowyn wouldn't say: "The humans" if it was the other way round and she was talking about Aragorn or Faramir, after all your OC is referring to members of her own race, so there is no need to stress they are elves and it is not something she would do.
But that is just a little tiny thing I noticed. ;) Keep up the great work! I love the way Faramir is developing now and his talk with Aragorn. Or as one of our lovely ladies here likes to say: "DOOOOOOOOOOOM!" :D

*adultff.net is behaving mighty bitchy again today, but I saved my review before posting, just in case. HA! Kneel, suckers! :D*

I also love the change in Faramir and his talk to Aragorn. Everybody is in for a jolly good time (not!), heheh. Can't wait for the next chapter. Keep it up, girl! And don't you dare let this story end to soon, there is a lot of potential to conintue with this for a while. ;)

This gets more interesting by the chapter...I don't trust Faramir, but who would? XD
How can you NOT think you're improving? I'm glued to my screen every couple of nights!

Your writing and descriptive words continue to improve. I like the way you indicated that Valawen grew more uncomfortable by the moment around others; it was well done.

Chapter 12 is up? Are we SURE this time? Maybe you posted it in some AU? Okay, I’ll let it drop. Moving on … Boromir and Haldir in a cave… Mmmm… Do you know where it is? And can I buy a map from you?
*clears throat* Sorry, I’m back now. Our stalwart Captain Faramir wasn’t taken in as easily as everyone thought. He is resisting, but will he speak out or follow Aragorn into darkness? *cue ominous music*
P.S. Hope you have a happy, healthy and prosperous new year. Have I mentioned lately that you ROCK?
P.P.S. SANDRA, thanks and right back at you! Hope your holiday was great and that the new year is everything you want it to be! And you, too, Beth! Glad to have you aboard! *waves*

"Nothing I can't get after you leave."
Mmmh... something tells me Faramir is not quite done for, the noble son of the Steward is still resisting, isn't he! ;) I know I am repeating myself, but I love the fact that you write a really long story this time, it's really fun to get into the characters heads and as I said before I am totally in love with the dark side's POV this time so to speak. Wonderful!!!
I habe you have a wonderful New Year's Eve, a great start into 2005 and a Happy New Year! Talk to you again in 2005.
P.S.: FREYA , if you happen to read this: A Happy New Year to you as well! :)

Poor Faramir & Eowyn, so noble, so trusting, so DOOMED! I had hoped the twins would have seen past Aragorn and (what’s her name in this chapter? *grins evilly*) Valawen’s evil plot. Oh, well! So, are we gonna meet the Evil behind the Palantir? Wait! I have it figured out! It’s Boromir, isn’t it? Even beyond the veil he’s held a grudge all these years, and is now using his supernatural powers to warp this upstart usurper of a king. Muahaha!
