@ acids.... Thanks for your note at the end of chapter 4. I would have thought they would have stripped the leggings for the whipping, and since you didn't state that.... I guess I can understand that if he hadn't already been stripped, that he would be uncomfortable with being commanded to (and the notion of bathing with viewers). It's just that I think that he rather had more to worry about at that point than modesty (whipped and beaten several times); also, this strip-and-bathe scene would have been more emotionally powerful if he hadn't already been through physical abuse. *shrugs* Still, it's an intriguing idea.

For what it's worth, I enjoyed (if that's the word) this chapter. Nitpicker that I am, I would have chained his legs, though... 8)

Hmm this is getting interesting with every chapter :) .. But why so suddenly after being tortured they do this to Glorfindel..and I can't wait for Legolas :P Will may be he help Glorfindel escape? I found your story on FFN and was directed here by one of the reviews. I must say I am really enjoying this and hope you get the next chapter written soon. I am a really big fan of the Glorfindel/Legolas pairing and have found it really difficult to find stories with them. I do hope you don't let those immature reviewers stiffle your creativity, they are not worth it and are in the minority. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next chapter.

This story has a very interesting premise, and I'll be sure to keep reading it. (Not to mention that it is almost nice to see Glorfindel on the receiving end for once.... *slaps own face*)

How... ... You could really benefit from a grammar and spell-checker, as there are enough of t err errors to be disruptive. Also, may I suggest that you need to think about your story details.

If Glorfindel had been as badly beaten and whipped as we are given to understand, then presumably he already would have been disrobed, at least to the waist, if not to the loincloth (or worse). Having once done so, I can't imagine the guards redressing him every time they throw him into his cell! (Highly illogical... they'd have to go through the stripping again every time theyggedgged him out.) So marching him dressed to the baths, and then telling him to strip, doesn't seem quite right. (Though, to give you credit, if Glorfindel *hadn't* been stripped at that po(I c(I can't imagine a whipping without it, though), then yes, the order to do so, in front of hostile guards, was certainly uncomfortable... not to mention what followed.)

very good. i'm certainly enjoying this; when is legolas coming in? soon, right? *looks hopeful*

but one thing, your chapters are mixed up, you have chapter 1 then three, then two. you might want to change them, as those like me (ie the not-awake ones) didn't catch that and read chapter 3 firi wai was very confused, although i must admit, that's not unusual.

here's hoping for a quick update.
