Buahhhhhhh!!! too much sadness -_- I miss the happy times of Gildor and haldir. But it is a great chap, full of surprises, and revelations ^^.
I´m waiting for the next beautiful chapter ^^.

No, no, no, no, no!!! I thought for sure they would get together in this chapter or at least talk to one another! Now, they're separated again. I just can't figure out what's going to happen next. You are truly a remarkable writer. Please don't keep us waiting too long for the next chapter.

NOOO! That was not how it was supposed to be! They were supposed to make up! Right now, I think I'm frustrated at almost everybody in this fic; Thranduil for sleeping with Gildor (though, really, who can blame him? :), Glorfindel for not trying hard enough to make Haldir talk to Gildor, the Twins for being overprotective and Haldir for being thickheaded. Everybody exept Gildor of course. *pets* This story touches me like no other. Mooore!

And shouldn't the twins tell Gildor what Haldir said during their little chat?! It's a crime not to do so! At least Elrohir would have enough sense...

Damn Haldir! *sigh* Please promise me he and Gildor will talk...in like the next chapter or something?!?

An update =) I've been waiting for this. You know, this is one of the best fanfics I've ever read, if not *the* best. So, is Lindir always so straightforward? Will there be more of those two, and Legolas/Glorfindel? Anyways, I'm sure Haldir is going to cause himself trouble by following those two. Please, udate soooooon!!!

And whyyyyy wont Haldir DO something. Yes, yes of course I know why....but still it's driving me mad!!!
*takes deep breaths* Ok, patience now...patience.

I have not done much reading in the fandom lately, but once I started "My Heart's Desire". I could not tear myself away. I fell in love with the Haldir/Gildor pairing long ago from reading Rune Dancer's "Spoken" Arc. Your story is as different as night and day from hers, yet (to me), has just as big an impact. In fact, your Gildor is the most erotic. breath-taking, god-awful hawt (winks) elf that I have met in a story. No wonder Haldir cannot keep away. I'd grab him myself if I could.

Seriously, your descriptions, dialogue, and wonderful characterization of both Haldir and Gildor have drawn me in and kept me mesmerized. From part one, where Haldir went through pure hell to get what he desired, to part two where both do everything but communicate. Arrrgh! Gildor wants Haldir for life but is scared Haldir is too young to make such committment. So he gives in to Haldir's every whim but the one that would make Haldir feel more secure in their relationship. Haldir's insecurities make him doubt Gildor's faithfulness - and why not - the elf seems to sleep with all his friends *smiles*. And everyone and his brother is determined to split them apart. Even Rumil, his intention to spare Haldir pain, propagates the rumour that Gildor has more feelings than friendship for the twins.

Less thought and more talk would solve the problem. But each time one decides to take such action, like a Shakespearian comedy something disastrous happens. They are now in Mirkwood after years of separation and misery and Thranduil (Oh, will Haldir ever love this!)thinks to get them back together. I cannot wait until Haldir catches sight of Gildor's outfit.

I started reading your story at Library of Moria and found it here on AFF last night with many new chapters. So I read it all over from the beginning. While everyone deserves a vacation and I truly hope you have a wonderful time, I will be biting my nails until your return and next post. An excellent story! Thank you so much for sharing.
