Wonderful story! I'm more towards teh Legolas/Gimli end of teh spectrum, but i love how you portreyed Haldir in a way that gives him respect (rather than a horny elf ball like in other stories). And i also love that you made Thranduil a good guy! too many stories portre him as a child beating Bastard. Thank you! And the ending was so sad and so happy. i loved it! ^_^

wow...i'm speechless. that was amazing. very sad and beautiful. you are an amazing writer and i'm glad that i found this story. it's so heartwrenching. i'm not a big fan of legolas/gimli, more of a legolas/aragorn, but you made me see the beauty and rareness i their relationship. i especially luved the end...legolas giving gimli the barret (sp.?) and when they held eachother, how he put his hand over gimli's heart, just to feel it beating. again, i've never read a story as beautiful and moving as this one.

WooT! Gimli/Legolas pairing...I haven't seen any of those yet...but maybe I am reading the wrong stories O.O hehe...THE BEGINNING WAS SO SAD! I was listening to the Fellowship of the Ring: Soundtrack while Legolas found Haldir's dead body and the song I was listening to was when Gandalf died, so I was crying my eyes out lol This was so good! And now, I love the Haldir/Legolas pairing! You are such a good author...man, A+ on this story! It totally rocks...and it actually makes you feel the emotions they do, as well. That is great writing, I tell you! Continue with your good work!
