*moan* We *finally* had poor Legolas standing up for himself, and now *THIS*?!!! ARRGH, I could cheerfully feed you to my pet Balrog! (If I had a pet Balrog....)

Seriously, the story was going reasonably well up to this point... (I am not really into the concept of a masochistic/submissive Legolas, but there has been some plausibility, due at least in part to the mpreg situation) but this is getting to be a bit too much! (For my tastes, and my sense of who Legolas is, anyway.) At least Legolas didn't give in to the demands to scream...thank the Valar for some small favor, I suppose.

WHEN is Legolas finally going to reveal his true identity? I was hoping it would be in this chapter (since he was finally showing some spine and pride) -- "I am a Prince of Mirkwood, and will not be treated as some girl!". Certainly, with Glorfindel's revelation that he plans to keep him breeding heirs, he can't possibly fear being sent away anymore. So just why *is* he still hiding his identity?

(On the other hand, maybe revealing himself would not be such a good idea... just what sort of punishments would descend on Legolas once his true identity were known? I am wondering just how those Noldor captives in Thranduil's court are treated...doubtless they come in for abuse of all sorts from the entire court. I could easily imagine a desire for turn-about-is-fair-play on the Imladris Elves' part. The question is, would Glorfindel allow it? Between his possessiveness on the one hand, and his sadistic tendencies and almost certain anger at being deceived on the other, it would be hard to say. Cripes.... I can't believe I'm writing this. As though Legolas weren't suffering enough!)

I guess I'll continue reading, but frankly, it's getting appalling, the depths to which Legolas is sinking.

yes, at first, his courage for living and for baby is great. i love the moment when he against glofendiel
without brave and pride, he is nothing.

This story i so good! I couldn't stop reading till i got to the last part and now can't wait for the next one... It may sound stupid but few times I almost started to cry about Legolas' situation, the way he feels :(..and yet the story is so great and please make the next part sooner :)

Oh wow this is really good even though Legolas is so young and submissive and all my favorite elves are assholes. Update soon!

Well written however, though for the life in me, I cannot figure out how this can even be well-written.

OK, I want to spank him for being so mean to poor Legolas, who really only wants to be loved and cherished... but wait--it seems the young one actually kinda enjoys all this! Hmmmm.....

If you're taking bets on who that was watching... I'm betting it was Haldir. After all, Celeborn is present in Imladris... maybe he brought Haldir with him as a chief guard and attendant?? Gads, now I'm going to be having bad dreams about *Haldir* hurting poor little Legolas.... SOB!!!

What a chilling chapter.

And boy, for someone worried about Legolas eating enough, he sure just guaranteed the kid's going to go hungry tonight.... an's p's probably not a good idea for a poor, preg, un, underfed laddie to be sitting on cold stones in the dark like that! Mean old Glorfindel... grump, grump, grump.... grrr...
