(snicker) Of course WE have known it all along.... Poor Glorfindel, what a shock, to have to hear it in public from a malicious meanie... I *KNEW* that was Haldir watching! I just KNEW it!! :-)
But--why did you STOP THERE??? You wonderfully EVIL writer you!!! I have got to kow what happens next!! Will Glorfindel be furious? Or will he be delighted that a) the bearer of his children will not be a stable boy, but a prince... and b) how annoyed and upset Thranduil will be, to know that the father of his son's children is the infamous Glorfindel!??!
And what will happen to poor Legolas now????

Wow, wow, wow!!! So now Glorfindel knows that Legolas is a prince. What will he do? You're so evil to end this chapter like that... It's such a torment to wait for more... GREAT job!

OK, the voyeur was Haldir, and what's *his* particular beef with Legolas/Thranduil (or maybe is it Glorfindel??). I get the feeling that there's something personal here about this revelation, as he's so malicious.
I'm curious what the *other* Elves at the table think about all this (I know that you have to focus on Glorfindel and Legolas right now...).
*Sigh* -- poor Legolas... looks ominous for him. I hope he at least can scrape up enough backbone to admit the truth. (Really, I loathe this ultra submissiveness!)

But I am sure you have more to tell us about HOW evil Glndelndel *grin* REALLY can be?
(And YES, he loves his little pet. But like he loves - a pet. I am thinking of a plotbunny even worse than you can imagine... what if Glorfindel himself will find his TRUE love? What about little poor sobbing preggy Leggy? He will be only a mere slave - fulfill Glorfindel's phantasies, but HE, the one Legolas adores, he loves another...)
I am leaving now, fully satisfied with the last chapter.
