Comments on Part 16...
*moan* No, no, aughhhh, anguish, Legolas just GIVING IN??!! Aughhhhhh!
I suppose, under the circumstances, that it is somewhat plausible that he finally breaks and gives in... but it is SO sad to see it. And evil (yes, evil!) Glorfindel, rubbing the fact of his submission into him. Where is my bow?! Where are my barbed arrows??!
(I've been considering the whole scenario, and wondering if Legolas isn't at least in part a victim of the Middle-Earth equivalent of the Stockholm Syndrome. But there's something more at work here, it seems. Glorfindel seems to think that Legolas is inherently a submissive. I really, really, really do not want to buy that -- it is so at odds with the Legolas that we love! But I am considering also the fact that Legolas was a virgin when Glorfindel first took him.... and the first sexual experience can have profound psychological and emotional consequences. Apparently, in this case, very damaging consequences.)
I suspect that Glorfindel is now going to test Legolas' submission, probably testing him very hard and very publicly. Groan -- I don't think that I want to see it. I also don't want to see what happens when Thranduil eventually (somehow or other it has to happen) sees/meets/confronts Legolas. (I can just see.... no, no, banish those vile thoughts!)
The multi-piece-of-mithril question is, what happens when the baby is born (or when/if Legolas miscarries)?? It seems like any promises/deals of submission to Glorfindel are off at that point -- Glorfindel has already made it plain that the child will be his heir, and in either case, there is no longer a pregnancy to protect. Will Legolas finally find his spine and seek to regain his lost honor? Or will he have been permanently broken as Glorfindel's submissive sex slave? This last, I don't want to see. This last, would call for a mercy killing. (One begins to sympathize with how Thranduil, himself apparently evil, is going to feel about all of this.)
Please, longer chapters??

Is Glorfindel going to hurt Legolas even more now he knows that he lied about his real identity?

This is getting more and more interesting with every passing chapter!!! I can't wait for what's gonna happen next!!! The stuff quite sick and twisted but hell I enjoy it! You're awesome! Although I really hope there is going to be some kind of happy end for poor little Legolas. Keep up the great work.
Evil Glorfindle, harrr!!!

Well, excellent chapter (part 15), given the situation. You clearly explained Legolas' and Haldir's motivations. (Glad to see that Legolas does have the appropriate concepts of honor and such -- and it is now very clear that protecting his child supercedes all other considerations.) Poor Legolas! This time around, one could *almost* get the feeling that, if it weren't for the child, he would prefer to be dead. If it weren't for the child, he would resist with all his strength.... sigh...
I'm glad that Legolas is going to be spared gang-rape and being the toy of the Imladris court (Glorfindel is possessive, yah, but he's so sadistic, it was hard to predict which way that would fall out). Still, there's some horrible punishment hanging over him, probably starting with that cane...
So, how much longer do we have to wait for the birth?? Or is Legolas even going to make it that far -- with the continuing starvation, stress, and general abuse, I would have thought the odds high for a miscarriage.
More, please, and, er, longer chapters? They get devoured in just a few minutes....

Oh dear.... oh dear oh dear oh dear....
OK, I'm glad Legolas sort of stood up to Glorfindel. But I find myself wondering, all the while Glorfindel is making him confess what is done to Noldor captives in Mirkwood, just what exactly is done to regular Sindarin captives (e.g., those not pregnant with the child of someone important...) who get captured by the Noldor... I refuse to believe they treat them ANY better!!
And I'm really sad to see that Thranduil is apparently an irredeemable meanie... :-(
However, I am VERY much looking forward to the next chapter. Glorfindel has made it clear he has a lot of inner respect for Legolas's courage, and that he feels possessive and protective of him... and certainly he appreciates the young one's submission and pregnancy. How will any of that affect the way he reacts once they are alone? And will Elrond or Celeborn want to see Thranduil's son treated far worse than he has been? What would Glorfindel do then??
I am very frightened for Legolas, and even more frightened for his child. He still isn't eating, and now he is frightened and stressed out way beyond what any pregnant person should be. This cannot be good. And Haldir clearly wants that young Elf VERY badly... as apparently does Elladan... what will THEY do??
Oh dear, oh dear oh dear....
I'm sorry your fingers hurt--but please, please hurry!!

And I thought things would be better for Legolas now his identity was revealed. It's the opposite of that.I just hope that something or someone saves Legolas or speaks up for him before a tragedy(like loosing the baby)occurs. We can't have that. So,does that mean that there is no absolutey any chance of Glorfindel loving Legolas? What a pity.
