There's only so much that I can say about this story...I both hated it, and yet, still held some sort of admiring content for it. The this that most irked me was the way legolas submitted himself willingly. Yes, willingly.

chapter34:
and after i said it didn't look
like this one would ever end
feft! make a fool out of me
why don't you! anyway! i liked
that. nice idea. train leggy.
he's so femme in this tho
kinda strange for to think of
this legolas ever stringing a
bow or fending himself with
knives. great fic. can't wait to
read the sequel.

Hey! It is Melissa Greenleaf (which I am pretty sure is Nione Lasgalen in Elvish) from FF.N
Just wanted to say that I love the story and the recent developments, and I can't wait for the sequel.
Please get it up soon!!!

I've known from the beginning that this is a sick fic. Reading the ending with Legolas still remaining as a possession of Glorfindel just confirmed my worst fear that this fic has no redeeming value.

Oh that was so evil! Teasing Legolas like that! ^-^ Hey, the punishment should have lasted longer. Anyways great story! It was probably the best LOTR fanfic I ever read! Looking forward to the sequel!

Yeah, well *mumble, mumble* it's been obvious for a long time now that it's been a slave mind-control Stockholm Syndrome type of story... I guess we are going to have to wait, what, 2 sequels, now? -- to see the supposed "happy ending". Which I will have to see to believe.... No, make that, you have really got your work cut out for you, to make me gut-feel.... that it will be happy and healthy for Legolas. Because right now, I sure ain't seeing it that way.
Anyhow, Esteliel, if this next chapter is going to be the last (of 'Anestel', not the entire story), can you please get on with it? (Yeah, yeah, I know, I had emailed you about ignoring our whining and nagging....) But... the suspense is KILLING me! What's that elf there for? For "play"... or (as some suggest) for ave cve collar? Don't know which is worse.... but whatever it is, it's bound to be bad. Ai, Legolas!

Well!
*snickers* *chortles* BWAhahahahaha!
You sure fooled me!!!
*heaves great sigh of relief!*
Ah, so now some small chance for honor and personal growth for Legolas!! (And *soooo* relieved that Legolas would have fought for himself!!! YAYYYYYYY!!!!!)
Very unexpected, good ending!
But NOW, you do realize that the prequel/backstory is going to have to completely go into the dysfunctional dynamics of Thranduil's household.... WHY was Legolas sent away? WHY wasn't he trained as a warrior? Plot, we want plot!!! (And, of course, all those inner thoughts and emotions and, yes, the turmoil of what is going to happen to Legolas....)
Waiting for the new stories!!
