I want to comment on Elflover's criticism.I kind of agree that just because Legolas is pregnant means that his hormones can go haywire. It's showing that whether or not Legolas' pregnancy can be an excuse for his raging libido. He's just plain horny.Sorry any anyway,it goes to show that the Noldor doesn't want peace because if Thranduil finds out that Legolas and his brother weren't treated(doesn't matter if they deserved it)right,it's war between those two elven realms.Too much war going on right now in the real world.

Okay, THAT was a sweet chapter. :-) Glorfindel AND big brother have somewhat redeemed themselves in my eyes....
I'm glad Legolas is showing some of his damped-down pride and guts again...and that Glorfindel is being protective and caring. And now Legolas's brother is being...brotherly??? Co-oool....
Babies bring people together in the most amazing ways.
More, more, please!!

Oh,it seems that Celeidur still cares for his younger brother. It's good that at least Celeidur has some feelings(brotherly okay)left towards his brotthatthat Legolas won't have to deal with his pregnancy alone.More please.

*groan*
How much worse are things going to get?!!! Legolas is going to get punished for this, for sure... quite probably with the audience of 3 watching... About the only thing that is certain is that Glorfindel won't allow E/H to touch Legolas as a part of it...
One can almost feel sorry for Legolas' brother.... I say almost, because of the horrible things that he said to Legolas earlier. (Bloodthirsty, vindictive me. JastaElf is very correct in pointing out that Thranduil, and apparently also the brother, are monsters.) Presumably now he has *some* idea of what Legolas (at least, potentially) has suffered. You will note, however, that he still has not broken. So can he truly yet comprehend or sympathize with Legolas, to the point of forgiving him? That's the question... (I don't think that he can, at this juncture, understand or sympathize with Legolas' vativation of submission in order to save his child.)
Still, this installment was a great relief, knowing that there is still some (howsoever small) core of personal integrity and courage in Legolas -- in his steadfast endurance of the other Elves' humiliations (without crying to Glorfindel), and especially in his daring attempt to rescue his brother. I fervently hope that whatever more abuse is coming his way, that this inner core is not extinguished.

Oh my goodness....
(yes, yes, I know, goodness had nothing to do with it...)
So! Now Glorfindel is determined that Legolas's eldertherther learn the art of surrender...at least as far as need be that he understand where his brother stands in relationship to all that's going on! Hmmm...
Elladan is thoroughly icky in this, as is Haldir. They're even worse than Glorfindel!! And poor little Legolas keeps giving of himself and giving in to keep others safe... it's just a good thing that Glorfindel DOES care for him and at least does SOME things to keep him safe, because at the moment everyone else is either seeing him as nothing but a selfishly submissive slut or a plaything to be used--and there is, deep down, a core of great courage, guts, daring, and compassion in Legolas that I *think* Glorfindel can see. There is also a stunning loyalty and love in him, and IF Glorfindel can become worthy of it, he will have found a soul-mate who is easily his equal! I think back to what Glorfy said to Elrond a couple chapters back: that he would like to teach Legolas to overcome his fears, if he would but allow it. Hmmm...
OK, more, more, please!!!!

Oh dear, I was *hoping* there would be another chapter tonight, but had no IDEA you would have things take a turn like THIS!!
Wow.
Haldir and Elladan are EVIL to try and make Legolas buy his brother's relief with incest... I hope Glorfindel beats the crap out of those two bad Elves, and doesn't do much that is bad to Legolas for his disobedience. The kid is just trying to save his brother, after all.... *SOB!*
Glorfindel please, please, I'm begging you.... show us *something* of how much you are coming to love poor little Legolas, PLEASE....
