*frowns*...I see all these people asking for a happy ending and I am wondering what they mean. Personally, Legolas has been treated with total disrespect by Glorfindel. I think this story is morbidly fascinating but it is very sad. You write well and I cannot help but wonder where you are going. Endless Legolas torture? My hope is that Legolas finds someone who truly loves him and gets out of this situation. You need respect for love.

No,I'm not critical about your review Elflover. What I mean is that if somebody flames an author(good or bad),I seriously think that name-calling should not be included. If they don't like the story, then they should just say that they don't like it and leave it at that.I read a review on one at ff.net and they called her a bitch(even though it's an acceptable word now-not womewomen though)and for what? She is a really good writer.I just hate it when I used the review board for some other reason rather than review a story.I try not to do that but when push comes to shove, you can only take so much.Oh dagnabit,I'm doing it right now am I?For all of you other readers who might be offended,I'm really sorry.I'm a Legolas fan(and Haldir)and that is why I can sometimes take it personally when Legolas is tortured, raped or you name it in a story.THIS IS A REALLY GOOD STORY!!!! I will admit that I love this one.I'm hoping that Legolas will eventually be treated right by Glorfindel.Oh crap,I'm seriously having a guilt trip on my previous review.I'll hide in my hole now.

The feeding part isn't odd.... if you've ever breastfed. (The baby's feeding, and Legolas' physical response and emotions, that is. As for Glorfindel... you would expect a certain amount of natural curiosity as to taste and so on and so forth. As to the rest of it, well, more Glorfindel control and dominance and possesiveness.)
I do question the quick resumption of, er, relations.... on the other hand, we do not know the explicit details of the birth canal and all that in male Elves (not sure that I want to know!), so who knows. I do know that in human female births, there is a prohibition on relations for some period of time after birth, due to the real danger of death (yes, it has happened)by embolism. It's been long enough, though, that I don't recall the exact period of time. Possibly the information is available in books on pregnancy and childbirth.
What was disturbing and nauseating to me, was Glorfindel's suggestion (more like a command) that Legolas keep himself oiled for Glorfindel's convenience and use. *shudder* Oiling yourself would be, well, a humiliation.... Having to keep yourself 24/7 in an oiled state, feeling that lubrication constantly, reminding yourself of why (so you can be used anywhere, anytime).... how totally humiliating, degrading, and dehumanizing.
Really, how can Legolas bear all this? I would be in despair. I would be considering suicide.
And how can Elrond continue to countenance what is effectively slavery... that escapes me, and is disturbing also.
Really, no nice Elves (excepting Legolas) in this fic....

Part 25....
Well, that answers *that* question, doesn't it....
I can scarcely believe that Legolas has recovered enough from birthing for *that* kind of activity. But there's evil, vile, selfish, rat bastard Glorfindel, taking him hard for his pleasure. No consideration for him whatsoever -- in fact, rather the opposite.... careless of any physical pain he inflicts, careless for that matter of whether or not he impregnates Legolas again, and delighting in the mental cruelty of the threatened punishment, the potential humiliation of the setting, and asserting his ownership and control.
Nope, no love forolasolas there.
And poor Legolas still has to endure facing the Imladris Elves again... who knows what new humilations Glorfindel is going to heap on him....
AUGH, how can his son be enough to help him endure this wretched life?
AUGH, all is despair.....
