Esteliel, don't get me wrong here,I do love this story. And before anyone tells me it's only a story(which I know it is),I am a sucker for happy endings which I don't see happening here.I also knoat nat not all stories have that kind of ending but I can only take so much torture especially if that torture is towards Legolas.I do have the choice whether or not to continue reading this.BTW,Elflover,if you want to e-mail me to talk about this fic, please do so.My addy is available.I don't want the review board to become a "battleground"(I'm not saying it will be)of words like ff.net has sometimes. Before I forget,I want to thank the owner of this site for enabling readers to review as much as they can since ff.net has limited its readers to 1 review per new chapter. Why am I even talking about this?I guess I have to wait till next chapter if Legolas will get those balls out himself or someone else.

*strokes Lady of Legolas* Wasn't sure what you meant... glad you weren't down on me. * Elflover's a bit paranoid and insecure... * Please don't go back to lurking mode! I value your comments (when I know for sure what they mean). And I totally agree with you that name calling is inappropriate. (On the other hand, calling our author here wicked and cruel when s/he is torturing us (along with Legolas) with all these cliffhangers...)
This latest chapter...... *groan*
In the library??!! *moan* I don't know whether or not to hope Elrond walks through that door. He's the only one that seems to have the ability to rein in Glorfindel's excesses, but given their friendship, I would say it would be 2% in favor of Legolas if Elrond did walk in (before Glorfindel's return). Just please, please, please, NOT Erestor or Elladan or Haldir.
This is getting sadder by the minute for Legolas. Are we heading towards some suicidal angst here? And what on earth did he do that he's fearing Glorfindel's discovery and retribution for?
Like some others, I love Legolas and Haldir fics. I can take angst, torture, non-con, rape.... but not mutilation or character death. But this dominance/submission/humiliation (emphasis here on humilation) is tough to take. I *hate* to see Legolas suffer like this, and he's spiraling downward into worse and worse degradation! Little honor left... that seems to be for sure. AUGH the anguish! Somebody save him!!!!

Glorfindel is so cruel! I'm starting to believe that there will be no happy ending, not after all these things that Glorfindel did to Legolas.

I want to add that as much as I really love reading this fic,it's bordering on whether or not it suits my thinking.I just don't like Legolas being tortured so much by Glorfindel.Well, this incident with the balls, now I seriously think that Glorfindel will never really love Legolas and will only treat him as a sex slave. For crying out loud Legolas, grow some thick skin and defend whatever is left(if any)of your dignity. Please somebody tell me that Legolas has other choices like escape or death(not really).Just because he has a child with Glorfindel doesn't mean that he has to stay with him.I want a happy Legolas!!!!Anon!!on!!!!

OMG, and here I thought Glorfindel was on the verge of niceness for a change... :-( He's being such a meanie!! What if he isn't the first one to walk in to the library?? What if it's Elladan? And is Haldir still skulking about??
The poor kid... :-( PLEASE update soon and let us know what happens!!! I especially want to know what Legolas did that he's trying to hide from Glorfindel....

Can I say something?Okay, since ff.net banned NC-17 fics, some R-rated ones are being flamed. It's one of the reasons I like this site because readers give mature(if not flaming)criticism good or bad.At ff.net,if you get flamed, they add name-calling too and some 4-letter words. But then again,at least this fic is over 300(hoping for more)reviews there.Although I still don't like how Glorfindel is treating Legolas despite giving birth to his son.And yeah, what happened to Celeduir and his other brother?I know Celeduir's back in Mirkwood. The other brother is a hostage in Lorien?I guess the Noldor gave Thranduil no choice in the matter.I also hope that Thranduil will eventually accept Legolas back in Mirkwood.

Lady of Legolas -- I'm trying to figure out exactly you you were saying in your last review. I hope that you don't think that I was flaming the author. I don't think that I was... if it was taken that way (especially by the author!), then my apologies! Consider my comments an expression of my emotional response to the particular episode (and last episode was enough to provoke a sense of despair and horror). Evocation of emotional response is, if you will, a testimony to the author's talent. Or so I feel. If positions were reversed, I would like to know how a particular scene or situation resonated with the readers.
(There is a difference, I think, in saying that such-an-such a scene or action was disturbing, and addressing the author as "you &^%$#@!, you %" etc. Which latter I have not done. Not even in language fit for civilized company. Believe me, if I were flaming the author, it would be pretty obvious (having coldly done so recently on another site, and to another author, for bushwhacking the readers with an unwarned character death -- something that I feel is highly inconsiderate, to say the least).)
I read a little over at ff.net, and I wasn't aware of any flames there for R content (I don't read all the reviews, though). Too bad that some readers are childish in that respect. And thank you to this site ownership for providing a safe haven for adult fanfiction.
