~ This is a Prince Nuada/Eowyn fic – if you don’t know who Prince Nuada is I suggest you look him up on the net – he was the main antagonist in Hellboy2. So I hope you enjoy the fic and please tell me what you think ~

 

Catharsis

 

 

Prologue:

 

As Nuada’s vision began to close in on him, the last emotions he felt before he died were failure, anger, despair, and guilt – he failed his people, failed all the magical creatures of the world – he was supposed to be their prince, their protector, their elven saviour, and he failed them all, and because he failed they were doomed to forever live in the shadows, to never feel the sun upon their skin and eternally hide from the humans like rats in a sewer. The anger at Hellboy and his band of misfits was overwhelming, how could they protect the humans? The very race that condemned them for not being human like them; the humans, how Nuada wished everyone of them were slaughtered like the pigs they were.

But now his 7000 years on this miserable world was ending, he would be no more, his dear sister will be no more, his father gone - murdered by his own hands, his only friend Mr.Wink gone – all because of him.

A single tear slid down his cheek as his body turned to stone, then to dust – he would be forgotten in that tomb for all eternity, as if he had never existed – 7000 years of life, but not once did he truly live.

Prince Nuada Silverlance, Prince of Bethmoora was no more…but was it truly the end of him?
