Author's Note: The character of Janell is mine however. I created her in a story written 5 years ago with a group of other authors in an RPG story. This story is dedicated to Thalassa who made this pic. I love the pic.
Summary: Erestor’s life changed after his kidnapping and an unexpected force rescues him. Elrond, in the meantime, finds his soul mate.
This story was inspired by a manip that thalassa created and I wrote a story to this pic found here:

Glorfindel banged the door up against the wall as he stalked into the Council chambers. “Has anyone seen him? Has anyone seen my husband?” The Captain was frantic. Never before had he been so scared in his life.
Elrond had just finished speaking when the door banged opened. An upset captain had disturbed his meeting. “Glorfindel, sit down before you collapse. Now tell me what is the matter?” He got the Balrog Slayer a strong drink from the sideboard and handed it to them. “Here try this, it will calm your nerves.”
Glorfindel took a big swallow of the drink and controlled his breathing. “Erestor is missing. I have looked all over this blessed place and cannot find him. Do you know where he is, Elrond?”
“No. I didn’t require him at this meeting so I gave him the morning off. Can you not find him with your bond?” Elrond was running his hand up and down his friend’s back trying to calm him.
“We didn’t bond, Elrond. We may have gotten married but we didn’t get around to doing that. Now I wished that we did so I could have found him easier.” Glorfindel felt ashamed that he never did bond with his husband.
“Well, I guess we should look for him. Did you go to his hiding place?”
“What hiding place? I never heard of this place before.” Glorfindel took another sip of his drink.
“He has a hiding place that I stumbled across years ago. It’s down by the Bruinen amongst the trees. Come let’s get a hunting party together and we’ll go find him.” Elrond turned to his council. “We’ll continue this some other time. Melgir, go inform Janell that we need twelve warriors for a search party. Make sure you have a good tracker.”
Melgir bowed to his lord and left the room.
“Thank you Elrond. What would I do without you? I’m a nervous wreck right now. I came to the right place.”
“Come with me. I want to head this search party and need to get ready,” Elrond said. The two of them made their way to Elrond’s private chambers and the lord dressed in his warrior clothes. He then stood before the fireplace looking at his sword. “It’s been a long time my friend,” he said to his sword. “I need you one more time.” He took his sword off the wall and felt its energy. It was good to feel the weight of it one more time in his hands. He encased it in the sheath on his waist.
Glorfindel was so tired that he never noticed a thing until he looked up and saw Elrond standing before the fireplace. “What are you doing, my lord?”
“I’m going with you. Erestor is my friend and I want to see him safe. You are in no shape to head this party so I’m taking command.”
“But you’re needed here in Rivendell not out there where you could get hurt.” Glorfindel always thought of his lord’s safety before his own. The Valar told him when he returned to Middle Earth that he was to protect the Elrond’s family and that included the lord himself.
“Glorfindel, as Lord of these lands, I am taking command of this party,” Elrond said firmly with a stare.
Glorfindel knew he could not win this argument. Elrond was right, he was not fully aware of his faculties. “You’re right, my lord. I’m in no shape to head this party. Come, let us go and find my husband.” He rose from the chair that Elrond placed him in when they entered the chamber.
Elrond grabbed his healing supplies satchel that he kept in his rooms.
They made their way to the top of the steps before the courtyard and stood . Elrond looked for his tracker and saw Janell standing beside her horse.
“Janell,” Elrond spoke as he descended the stairs, “I thought I told Melgir that I wanted my best tracker on this trip.”
“You did my Lord. I am the best tracker. Why do you think Glorfindel made me his second-in-command? Besides, I would give my life to help my friends.”
“Has Melgir told you what this is about?”
“Yes my Lord. My Ada told me everything. We are ready when you are.” Janell handed the reins to Elrond horse. She then gave a second set of reins to Glorfindel who nodded.
“You’re Father!” Elrond was stunned to learn this. He was certain that he knew everything that went on in Rivendell but this piece of news needed investigating.
Janell nodded to her Lord.
The two Lords straddled their horses and made out to Erestor’s hiding place. Janell got off her horse and searched the area. It wasn’t until she was down at the river that saw a mess in the dirt like there was a fight.
“My Lord, come over here!” Janell shouted.
Elrond and Glorfindel made their way on foot towards her. All three looked at the patterns on the ground and gasped.
“My Lord, it looks like there was a struggle here.” She crouched to the ground to inspect the earth. She brought some up to her nose and sniffed. It was foul! “My Lord, humans were here, about a dozen of them. From the looks of the footprints, they have taken Erestor south. His prints are not as deep in the earth as the humans. He put up a good fight.”
Glorfindel was grateful that his beloved was alive. He had taught Janell well. He was proud of her when she came to him a millennia ago wanting to take up the sword. She excelled in everything she learned and when time came that he was looking for a second in command the troops thought highly of her. He made the right choice.
“Then let us go and find him,” Elrond said. “You,” he pointed at a warrior, “go and inform my sons to take care of Rivendell while I’m gone. Tell them we are headed south and to send a small party of fifty warriors in our direction.”
With that, the warrior headed back.
Elrond and the others headed south with Janell in the lead keeping an eye on the ground for prints.
“My Lord, they are now on horses. They will be far ahead us of by now. I don’t know how many because they are in single file. This is hard to tell.” Janell watched Elrond’s face for any hope.
“Thank you, Janell this is great news. It’s easier to follow horses than footprints.
They rode for what seemed like days. The other detachment had arrived on the second day where they were camped. They had entered a small wood during mid afternoon some days later. Then Janell saw something that she had never encountered before, a castle of sorts with a great wall outside.
It was not very large but looked like it was impenetrable. On all sides, a forest surrounded so you wouldn’t see it unless you were right up close. On the front was a drawbridge surrounded by some sort of black water. It had an awful stench to it that would make a person plug his nose.
“This is it, my lord.” Janell turned her head and looked at Elrond. “From what I can see there are four guards on top of the wall.”
“Yes, I see that.” Elrond was searching for a place where they could enter. “I cannot see a place to enter.” Their elven sight made it easier.
“Neither can I. When night falls, I will search the area to find a way inside the castle. Then I will come back and report to you on what I find,” Janell said.
“I am not putting you in danger, Janell,” Elrond replied.
“I’m the best you have. Just because I’m an elleth does not put me in danger.” This was the first time that someone was thinking of her safety and she didn’t mind it. She turned to her lord and smiled. “Besides, I’m smaller and will not be seen. I brought a set of clothes that will make me invisible to the naked eye.”
“What clothes do you speak of?” Elrond asked.
“Let us make camp and I will tell you.” Janell made her way to the rest of the warriors and had someone search the area where they could conceal themselves of prying eyes.
They made no fire. They didn’t want the enemy to know that they were there. As the warriors settled down to eat lembas and drink water, Elrond, Glorfindel and Janell made their way to a secluded part of the forest to talk.
“Before I arrived in Rivendell, I was in the service of King Ereinion. He had a troop of warriors that served as infiltrators so that if he wanted information he would send us out and we would gather information about the enemy. If captured, we would look like any other elf or human. That is why I have dark hair. I cannot be seen with my disguise.”
“I have heard this before. Gil-gilad had told me during the Last Alliance that he had such elves do this work but I never encountered them before. Exactly how old are you Janell?” Elrond was curious.
“I am 4,780 years. I was born in Eregion when the first Rings of Power were made.” Janell bowed her head.
Elrond was a little shocked to hear this. “Who trained you?” He put his hand on her knee trying to comfort her. He could sense that something happened in her past.
When Janell felt the hand, she stiffened. She looked up and saw the caring in Elrond’s eyes. “Lord Celeborn trained me, my lord.”
“That explains it. He was a great warrior back in Eregion and still is. However, enough of this, we need to find a way into that fortress before something happens to Erestor.”
Meanwhile, Glorfindel soaked up the information that Janell was telling Elrond. This was the first he heard of her skills. ‘It’s no wonder why she excelled in her skills but he was proud of her accomplishments. He definitely picked a great elf to be his second-in-command.
“Yes, we do need to find a way in,” stated Glorfindel. “I want my love back.” A tear escaped his eye and made its way down his face.
“We’ll get your husband back, Glorfindel. That I promise you.” Janell had moved beside her captain and put an arm across his shoulders. “I will get him back. First we should rest. It will be easier for me to move in the dark.
~~~~~~~
Meanwhile Erestor didn’t know what hit him when he was sitting in the glade when he wanted some peace. He was dressed in a dark blue silk robe with black leggings. Unexpectedly, someone came up behind him and put his hand across his mouth. He struggled for a few minutes until someone hit him on the back of the head and he was out like a light.
He woke up, shackled to the wall with his hands above him and his feet spread apart. He was a little groggy when he raised his head to find out where he was. He looked around the room he was in and noticed that there were others chained to the walls. Amongst them was a man whose body was nothing but bones. This sent a shiver down his spine. ‘Who would leave something like that in here?’ he thought. He heard footsteps coming down the hall and he put his head back down making them think that he wasn’t awake.
A guard entered the room with a whip in his hands. He walked up to the elf and used the coiled whip to raise his head. The eyes were closed.
“Wake up,” he said, “my master wants to see you.”
Erestor opened his eyes and looked straight at the man. He was tall for a human and strongly built.
The guard proceeded to undo the chains and he let the elf fall to the floor, hearing a groan. He then proceeded to shackle him further with the chains that were on the floor. One went around his neck like a collar with a chain that fell to his stomach and then to the floor. He then put the cuffs around each of the elf’s wrists and the other ones around his ankles.
Erestor was too weak to fight back so he let the guard do his worst in chaining him back up. The cuffs were rough as they cut into his wrists. They roughly pulled him to his feet, made their way down the corridor into a room that was sparsely furnished and then out onto a balcony. They pulled on his chains making them cut his skin.
The guards placed him on a balcony outside their master’s chambers. They ripped the robe from his chest, exposing it to the elements. It gathered around his waist. One guard pushed him to his knees on the floor, which was made of stone.
Erestor looked around at his surroundings. Perched on the ledge of the wall was a cardinal. It brought him a little peace until it flew away. There was a chain that dangled from wall to the left of him. It was then that he heard footsteps come up from behind him. He turned his head to see who was behind him.
“Now, what have we here?” the human said. “I have never had an elf in my possession before so this is going to be some treat.” He walked around Erestor inspecting his property. He knew that elves lived a long time and this one would stay young as long as he lived. “I know who you are Erestor.”
Somehow, when he heard the man speaking he recognized the voice. ‘No, it couldn’t be!’ he thought. The human had wanted to sell his own kind for money when he arrived in Rivendell. He told Lord Charles that elves would not buy slaves. That it was appalling to sell your own kind.
“That’s right Erestor,” Lord Charles said when he saw the look on Erestor’s face. “Since I cannot sell my slaves, I will be making one out of you. You will bow to my every need and be by my side until the day I die. Do I make myself clear?” Charles said this with a calm voice. He was not agitated towards Erestor. He knew the kind of elf he was dealing with.
“I will not,” Erestor yelled back. “I will not submit to you or anyone else. When my husband arrives he will kick your butt from here to wherever it is that you humans go to die.” He was firm in his answer. Erestor was not going to back down from his courage.
“Yes, you will.” Just then, a whip slashed across his back making the elf wince.
Erestor felt the whip hit his back, making him push his chest forward. He hissed at the pain as he felt blood run down his back. This was not a caring man. He bowed his head before him resting his hands on the stone floor.
“Ah, submission after all. This is good to see.” Charles walked around Erestor. He was going to enjoy this elf after all who would at least bring life to his boring one.
“I will not submit! You can whip me all you want and I will never submit.” Erestor was getting angry with this human. No one treated him this way! He tried pulling his chains to see if they would break but there was no chance. They were made of mithril. ‘How did you get a hold of mithril?’ he thought.
“You can’t get out of those chains which were specially made for you. I had them commissioned before I came to that valley hoping to find a new slave for myself. When I saw you, I knew I had to have you. You were the only one with black hair that was so beautiful.” Charles could feel himself getting hard under his leggings as he touched the hair before his fingers. This pleased him very much.
Erestor could not believe his eyes. The human was going to use his body! Did he know the truth?
“You can’t take me. Do you realize that if you rape me I could die? If you want me in your service then you can’t do that to me. I will never yield my body to you. I will fight you with everything that I have.” Erestor started to panic when he heard this. He would never see his husband again or his friends. No, no, he couldn’t do this!
“I know I can’t take you without your consent. That’s why I’m willing to wait and gain your confidence in me.” Charles knew that saying this would ease the elf’s mind.
‘What kind of game was this human playing? Get to know me!’ Erestor snorted when he heard that last part. “I will never submit to you!” he spat. “I would die before that would happen.”
“Then you will not see your husband again. I know you have a mate. I enquired about it when I was there,” said Charles. He got information out of the elves without being inconspicuous. They never knew that Lord Charles was going to kidnap one of their own.
Erestor was growing weak from the injury to his head and the whip that marked his back. He bowed his head and fell over, passing out.
Lord Charles watched as his slave passed out. He took the elf over to the wall where the chain hung and locked Erestor’s hands on it bringing the knees of the elf up to his chest as if he was crouched on the floor. ‘This is going to be a long process in breaking this one,’ thought Charles but he would do it quickly. The lust he had for the elf was overwhelming. He left the elf on the balcony while he attended to some other matters.
~~~~~~~~~
The elven warriors waited until nightfall until they made their move. The warriors stationed themselves evenly spaced around the entire castle. Glorfindel, Elrond and Janell agreed that they would get closer to the castle. They made their way to the back part of the castle to a bush area that concealed them. Janell told them to stay here and she would find a way inside.
Janell was made of stealth. She never made a sound even to the elves. In addition, being that it was dark, it could make Janell unknown to her enemy. Ithil never showed herself tonight, which made Janell grateful. She made her way up to the moat. The stench was making her nose burn so she pulled up a black handkerchief over her nose that she tied up around her neck. As Janell made her way, she found a short outcropping of dirt that if jumped across would land her on the other side. She looked across the way and found that the footing over there was very narrow.
She searched the perimeter and found one balcony, which was a good sign. No one would see her enter the castle. Janell looked up the wall and noticed a turret on the corner. She then took out the mithril rope that she concealed in her suit before she left camp and made a lasso on the one end. With her elven vision, she was able to lasso a corner block on the turret. Pulling on the rope, she made her way hand over hand up the rope. When she reached the top, she couldn’t believe her eyes.
~~~~~~
Charles was not in his council chambers more than five minutes when he thought of the lovely package that the guards delivered to his chamber balcony. There was no one in the room as he was waiting for his advisors to arrive. He couldn’t wait any longer.
Making his way back to his chambers, he made his way out to the balcony and saw Erestor still chained to the wall. The elf never raised his head so he knew that he was still out. This was his chance. He opened the lock and draped the elf’s body across a table, belly down. With the chains being short, the elf’s wrists were under his upper body. Charles then opened his breeches to release his cock, which had become hard in the council chambers.
He ripped the leggings off Erestor and spread his feet. Without preparing the elf, he took his cock in his hand and entered him. With the elf passed out, he would never know that he took him against his own will.
After releasing inside the elf, Charles cleaned himself with a rag he found on the table and left the elf the way he was: open and ready for more.
~~~~~~
Janell gasped at the sight before her. There on a table was Erestor, bare from the waist down, blood, and semen running down his legs. She knew then what had happened. No one was about so she took matters into her own hands. Inside one of her pockets, she found a piece of wire to pick the locks.
Making her way towards Erestor, she pulled down his robe that bunched up around his waist to give him some decency. She pulled the advisor carefully off the table and onto the floor. Janell took the wire and picked the locks around his wrists, neck and ankles. She noticed his eyes closed. This was not good. Pulling the robe around his shoulders, she then hauled him up and over her shoulder. She was stronger than anyone ever knew. Making her way to the ledge of the balcony, Janell hefted herself up and grabbed the rope.
This was going to make it more difficult for her when she got to the narrow part of the ground at the bottom. The warrior made her way to almost the bottom and with her feet, she pushed herself off the wall and landed safely on the other side of the moat. Landing with an elf on her shoulders made her wince. She took a lot of the shock in her back but stood and made her way to Elrond and Glorfindel.
When she arrived, she placed Erestor on the ground carefully.
“Elrond, he’s been…” she couldn’t say the words.
Elrond listened to Janell but when she stopped talking, he knew. He looked down at the lower part of his advisor’s body and saw the blood. He was going to lose his friend.
Glorfindel partly heard what Janell was saying. “He was what Janell?” He looked to Elrond and followed his eyes. When he seen the blood, he went numb. It was then that he screamed as he never screamed before.
“Glorfindel, control yourself. We need to get Erestor back to Rivendell where I can treat him. I am also going to need your help.”
Glorfindel let the tears fall when he realized that Erestor was going to die slowly and finally fade. He felt a hand on his shoulder and looked towards Janell.
Janell watched the tears fall and knew about his pain for it had happened to someone in her life a long time ago. “We need to look after Erestor, my friend. You need to be strong for him when the time comes. I will help all I can.” She reassured him by rubbing his shoulder with her thumb.
The four of them made their way to the horses and the grounds that served as their camp that afternoon. Janell whistled to the warriors, signaling them to return. Elrond went into healer mode, cleaned up Erestor, and used a salve on the tears between his legs. He then placed a wad of cloth between his legs to help stop the bleeding. As he examined Erestor’s head, it was then that he felt the bump on the back but it was not bleeding.
“Elrond, there is a whip mark on his back also. I noticed it when he was on the table.” Janell carefully raised the elf and took down his robe from the back. There on his back was a mark that was at least an inch wide and bleeding in places. Janell took some of the salve and went to work on the advisors back. This surprised Elrond.
During this time, Erestor was not aware of his ordeal. The closed eyes made Elrond think that he was in healing sleep or his fëa was on its way to the Halls of Mandos. He hoped that the latter part was not true.
Glorfindel was silently crying for his loved one. He rubbed the knuckles of one hand to try to wake the elf and he was soothing the hair back from his mates face. He knew that he needed to be strong for his husband so he took a deep breath and released it. This calmed him somewhat.
When Elrond saw the calm take over his friends face, he knew that Glorfindel would be all right.
“Let us make our way to Rivendell. We cannot tarry here any longer. The master of that castle will be after us when he finds Erestor gone.” Elrond packed up his supplies and readied his horse before turning to Glorfindel. They would do this under the cover of dark so that the enemy would not see them. “Can you manage him on your horse, my friend?”
“Yes, I want him close. He can sit in front of me on Asfaloth. He is meant to carry two.” With that said, he got his horse and sat on it, putting a blanket that Elrond handed him on the horse in front. Janell and Elrond gathered Erestor between them and raised him until Glorfindel had a good grip on him. He was placed sidesaddle in front of Glorfindel. He took the corners of the cloak he had on and placed it around Erestor’s body. The Balrog Slayer then kissed the top of his mate’s head while the rest of the warriors were straddled their horses.
After leaving the area, the warrior party took several days to arrive in Rivendell. They slept little but rested the horses for periods. After they passed the boarders of Rivendell, Elrond sent a warrior ahead to tell Elladan to ready a room in the healing wing. When they arrived, the twins were waiting for them.
Elrohir and Elladan watched as the party arrived. They saw Erestor sitting on Glorfindel’s horse and saw the eyes closed. This was not good. They walked forward to steady the horses as Elrond got off his and helped with his advisor and best friend.
Glorfindel took Erestor from Elrond’s arms and headed to the healing house. He placed him on the bed and knelt, not wanting to leave his husband. Glorfindel only had eyes for his husband and nothing else in the room mattered. Elladan and Elrohir stayed outside.
Elrond turned into a healer again, turned to the door and noticed Janell standing there.
“Can you give me a hand, Janell?” Elrond was curious about Janell so he kept her busy in the room.
“Yes, what can I do for you, my lord?” Janell was a little nervous with Elrond. She didn’t know what to expect.
“Call me Elrond, here. I am not your lord when in Rivendell unless we have guests present.” Elrond wanted to see her reaction and he saw that she was nervous.
“Yes, my lord,” she replied with a small smile curled around her lips.
“I want you to get me some water so that we can clean him up and assess the damage that has been done.”
“But my lord, this is Erestor, he’s a male!” Janell replied nervously. “I can’t do that. I will see his…” She couldn’t say the last thing. It had been a long time since she did this. Could she still do this?
“You can. I noticed that you took over putting salve on his back in the trees. You have some skill and quit calling me ‘my lord’. ” Elrond did not want her to forget what she did.
“Yes my lord,” she replied giving him a smile.
The both of them got supplies ready to see what damage had taken place. Janell washed his arms and legs from the grime as Elrond got a better poultice ready with greater healing powers. When he looked at Erestor’s lower region, she turned her back. She couldn’t do this! Just then Elrond spoke.
“Janell, give me some water and a clean rag. I need to clean up the salve we put on earlier.”
Janell got him the water and rag from the table on the side of the room. She placed the bowl between Erestor’s bent knees and gasped.
Elrond heard the gasp and looked at her. “Now, now it’s no different from other males,” Elrond snickered. He then turned to her and saw a change. It was like himself when he went into healer mode.
Janell changed right before Elrond’s eyes. She took up Erestor’s sack and watched as Elrond spread his cheeks. She watched the healer clean the salve away and saw the tears to his rear entrance. He got the new poultice and placed it between the cheeks and inside. Elrond then placed a cloth to keep the sheets from getting soiled.
“That’s all I can do for now. The rest is up to Erestor and Glorfindel.” Elrond was wiping his hands on a cloth to remove any poultice from them. “I’m glad you were here, Janell. You have some healing skills, I take it?” It was more a statement than a question.
“Yes, Elrond,” she stated. “I was a healer before we left Eregion, before I came into the service of our High-King. If anything happened to any of us, we were to take care of ourselves. There would be no one around to do this for us.” Janell set the bowl of water on the side table and turned. “How did you know?”
“I sensed this about you. When you told us about yourself out there, I figured that you would have to heal yourself when alone. Gil-galad had told me in confidence about some things that the infiltrators did for the war. Come, let’s go clean up ourselves and leave the two of them alone.” Elrond made his way to the door and turned to watch Janell approach Erestor.
Janell put her hand on Erestor’s forehead and closed her eyes. For a moment she couldn’t figure out what was wrong but then her eyes snapped open.
“Elrond, come feel. Something is wrong.” She moved aside when Elrond approached.
“What’s the matter?” This came from Glorfindel when his senses started to clear.
Elrond placed his hand on Erestor’s forehead where Janell had her hand and he closed his eyes. His eyes snapped open and he gasped. “Glorfindel, something is wrong. Talk to Erestor. Tell him you love him.”
Glorfindel furrowed his forehead in a questionable look. He then did what Elrond told him to do. He whispered into Erestor’s ear, endearments only meant for his husband.
“Do you feel it, Elrond?” Janell questioned.
“What did you feel, Janell?” Elrond wanted to see if Janell knew the truth.
“He’s fading, Elrond,” she whispered so that Glorfindel couldn’t hear her.
“You’re right as usual.” Elrond replied. ‘What kind of healer are you?’
“I have seen this before. We need to talk in private, the three of us. Why don’t we meet in your study in one hour? I need to clean up and get out of these tight clothes.” Janell pulled on the throat of her tunic trying to make room because of the confinement it made.
“That sounds good. I could do with a bath myself. I also want answers from you.” Elrond stated this last sentence at Janell. He wanted to know the truth about her abilities.
Glorfindel didn’t want to leave his husband but he would listen to what Janell and Elrond were talking about.
The three warriors made their way into the corridor and saw the twins.
“Could the two of you look after Erestor?” Elrond asked, placing a hand on each shoulder of his sons. “He will live but he’s in a healing sleep. Keep an eye on him for us. We are going to clean up and talk privately.”
His sons nodded and headed into the room without question.
After an hour, the three warriors were sitting in Elrond’s study with the door locked. Elrond didn’t want anyone to disturb them. He served sandwiches and tea to them as they sat.
“Now I want to know who taught you at what I just saw, Janell? I have never encountered someone who could reach into a body with their mind other than a handful of people and I’m one of them.”
“I know you both won’t believe me but I have hidden myself from this world since I left Eregion. I never wanted anyone to know what I am other than my father and the Valar.” Janell looked down into her cup feeling self-conscious.
“What has you father to do with this? And why the Valar?” Glorfindel asked, his curiosity piqued.
“My heritage is the question here. My mother was human that’s why my ears are slightly rounded like Elrond’s but my father is full elf and… half something else.” She didn’t want to tell them because the other half of her father’s heritage never came to the front. It only came around when Janell was born.
“I thought you were full elf, Janell? Let me see.” Elrond leaned over his desk to get a better look.
Janell pulled her hair away from her ears and for sure, they were elven but only slightly.
“What of your other half besides your elvish roots. What is it?” Elrond asked.
Janell took a deep breath as she placed her teacup on the desk. She looked to Elrond and then to Glorfindel. “I’m part Maia.” There she said it.
“So am I but that never stopped me from using my skills to heal someone. Why don’t you use yours?” Elrond asked. His own past was the same and he used his skills to the fullest.
Janell was shocked that they didn’t yell at her for keeping herself hidden. “You’re not mad?”
“No, I’m not Janell. I’m glad that you can trust us in this. It will be good to have someone else to help in situations like this.” After hearing this confession, Elrond wanted to get to know her better. After Celebrían left, he never wanted to have someone else in his life.
“Why did you not tell us this from the beginning, Janell?” This question came from Glorfindel. He was curious as to why he was hearing this for the first time.
“I kept it hidden because when I was a child, I was smarter than the rest of the elves my age. They thought of me as a freak, one who knew everything. I excelled at anything I could get my hands on. Why do you think I went through your training quicker than anyone else did? It’s because of my heritage. Being part Maia has its advantages. It gave me the strength to excel so the Valar taught me. They took it upon themselves to teach me all they know. Astaldo taught my warrior training. Estë taught my healing and Irmo taught me about visions. He did not teach me about dreams. He said that the one and only dreamer is himself.”
“You know Tulkas?” Glorfindel asked. “I met him once in the Halls of Mandos. He was quite the talker. Now, why did we need to meet in private? I know now it was to tell us of your heritage but somehow I get a feeling it’s about Erestor. Now tell me.”
“Glorfindel, Elrond there is only one way to stop this fading.” Janell looked to each of them. “His mind knows what happened. Glorfindel, I know this is a private matter but did you bond with Erestor when you got married?”
“No, we never got around to it. What has that got to do with this?”
“The only way to save him is to confess your love to him all over again and say the words of bonding. This will get his fëa back to his body. You must do this in the next few days before the Halls of Mandos consumes his fëa. Do you understand me?” Janell placed her hand on her captain’s shoulder as reassurance.
“I understand. However, will Erestor hear me? He will not be able to complete the bond with me while he’s unconscious.” He was finding it hard to talk like this.
“No he won’t but with your part of the bonding it will show your love to him and reach out to his fëa. When he heals then he can finish the bonding between you to make yourselves complete, stronger, one.” She turned her head towards her lord.
“How do you know this, Janell? Even I did not know this,” Elrond asked.
“It’s like I said Elrond, Estë taught me much of the elves. The Valar thought that one of us should know how to deal with things like this. If something like this happens again and I’m not around at least you will know this Elrond.” Janell was beginning to like Elrond. She had never met him before and her eyes lingered on him longer than they should have.
Elrond noticed the lingering of the eyes on him and he smiled. He liked her more than his head knew. His heart was already in the right position.
“Glorfindel,” Janell turned to him, “when do you want to do this?”
Glorfindel just sat there not looking at anyone. His mind was on his husband that lay in a bed in the healing house slowly dying. He wanted Erestor back so much that his heart hurt.
“Glorfindel?” Janell asked, placing her hand on his shoulder again.
He looked at her as if she wasn’t there until his eyes focused. “What?”
“When do you want to do this? We should do it within two days.” Janell turned to Elrond.
“We should do this tomorrow. The sooner the better. What do you suggest? You’re the expert here.” Elrond asked.
“I agree we should do this tomorrow. I…I don’t know how to tell you this Elrond but both of us need to be in the room when this takes place. It is going to take the three of us to do this.” Janell stared at Elrond.
“We can’t do that! This is their bonding,” Elrond replied, his voice becoming louder.
“I know but we are going to have to pull his fëa back from the darkest depths of Mandos’ Hall while Glorfindel says the words of bonding. We need to enter Erestor’s mind and my strength is not strong enough to do this. I will need your help, Elrond.” Janell asked with hope in her heart.
“Is this alright with you, Glorfindel? Janell and I will be with you when you bond with your husband.”
“If it will bring back my husband, then yes, I want you both to help. I would go to Mandos himself and ask for Erestor’s life but he told me he didn’t want to see me again unless it was in Valinor. I am asking for both your help in this.” Glorfindel felt empty inside without his husband beside him.
“Then it is settled. We will meet in the Healing House in the morning after we break our fast. I need to prepare myself for what we are to do,” Janell said.
“Good,” Elrond replied. “We will meet in Erestor’s room. Now we should rest for the day. Glorfindel, why don’t you go to Erestor and be with him for the evening. You need to strengthen yourself with his presence. Janell, I will see you in the morning.”
Janell went to her room as Glorfindel went to Erestor. Janell was nervous about what she was going to do with Elrond. She lit a fire in her room and sat in front of it on the rugs. Sitting with her feet crossed and underneath and with her hands on her knees, palms up, Janell closed her eyes and calmed her inner self. Centering her soul in her body made her calmer than before. This was something that Estë taught her.
Elrond sat in his study still thinking about Janell. She definitely was a puzzle to him. It was amazing that he never heard of her abilities before this. If he had known, she could have saved his wife, Celebrían, from fading and making her way to Valinor. Maybe he was to send her to Valinor to save her life, he would never know. However, when she left, Celebrían had released Elrond from his bond to her so that he wouldn’t have a lonely life. He could seek another companion for himself. He got up from his chair and made his way to his balcony, which overlooked a waterfall that brought calmness to his soul.
The elven lord made his way down the stairs and went for a walk in the gardens that his departed wife created. It filled his senses with fragrances of roses. This was their favorite place to walk. He sat on a bench to remember the times they had together. It was then that he felt a presence behind him.
Janell couldn’t relax in her room. The tension of what she was about to do unnerved her so she decided to go for a walk. It had been a long time since she pulled someone’s fëa from Mandos. Being Glorfindel’s second-in-command gave her privileges so her captain set her up in a room in the main house to keep her close in case anything came about with his lord and family. Her feet kept walking until she came to a path in a garden and she didn’t know where she was.
“I’m sorry, my lord, I didn’t know anyone was here,” Janell apologized.
“That’s ok, Janell. I was looking for some fresh air so I came here. What brought you here?” Elrond asked, inclining his head for her to sit.
“I couldn’t relax so I thought a walk would do it not knowing where my feet were going to take me. I guess we had the same thing in mind.” Janell took the other half of the bench. “These gardens are beautiful. Did you do this?” Janell asked.
“No, Celebrían did this. She had such the green thumb for growing things. She did this for me after we got married.” A tear slipped its way down his face.
Janell looked at him when he spoke and watched the tear. She brought her hand up and wiped it away with her thumb. She looked into his eyes and saw the sorrow.
“Why so sad, my lord? I didn’t need to bring up the past. It was not my intension.”
“It’s not your fault, Janell. I miss her so much.” Tears now leaked from both eyes but he couldn’t stop them even if he tried.
Janell kneeled in front of him and gathered him in her arms to offer comfort and he took it. It had been a long time since he cried and this was his way of releasing his grief. He never did this in front of anyone and doing it in front of Janell made him lose control of his tears. He sobbed into her shoulder. She consoled him by running her hand up and down his back. His tears stopped and he brought his head up to look at her.
Looking into her eyes, he felt a calm come over him that he never felt in a long time. He placed his hands on her shoulders and watched her. His senses were rising up in his chest and settled in his heart. ‘I love her,’ he thought. Elrond slowly moved his head forward until his lips touched hers lightly. He felt a spark between their lips and he hungrily took them, kissing her deep.
Janell didn’t know what to think when he kissed her lips lightly and she closed her eyes to feel them. It was then she felt the spark. Her lips hungrily took his and she opened her mouth to accept the tongue. It wrestled with hers for domination but it was futile. His won over hers. She felt hands on each side of her face caressing her cheeks. It brought a moan to each of them feeling their passions rising.
They broke off the kiss and stared at each other. Neither said a word when Janell placed her head on his shoulder wanting the closeness. It had been a long time since someone held her like that.
Elrond placed his hands around her shoulders bringing her in closer wanting to feel her against him. He leaned his head against hers. This felt right. His soul called out to hers. It was then that he knew.
“I love you,” he whispered. Caressing her hair with his hand, Elrond professed his love for her.
“I love you, too” Janell replied. She rose her head up and looked at him. “When did this happen? I never felt this before. I have an ache in my heart for you.”
“I know. I have it also. It was when we kissed that it happened. Janell, I don’t know how to tell you this but we’re soul mates.”
“How can that be? You married a wonderful woman who bore you children. Were you not her soul mate?”
“No, we were not soul mates. I married because of political reasons. We later fell in love but it was not a soul’s love. I have never found my soul mate until now.” Elrond slid his hand under her hair at the nape of her neck and brought her forward for another kiss. He could feel his leggings get tight but he knew it was too soon.
Janell felt the heat well up inside her and felt lips on hers again. They kissed wanting to get closer, tongues dueled, each were tasted until their lips were bruised and red until they ran out of breath. They broke it off before anything else could happen, breathing hard.
“I hate to say this but we need to slow down. We need to concentrate on Erestor and Glorfindel for their bonding to be successful. Is there anything I need to know for tomorrow?” Elrond wanted to get his mind off on what his body was telling him so he changed the subject.
“You’re right, Elrond, we need to slow down. The only thing that you need to do is help me go to Mandos’ Hall and reclaim a soul. I felt it and it has not reached the Halls. He’s somewhere in the darkness lost but we will be his beacon to light his way home and back into his husband’s arms again.”
“You’re right, Janell.” He scooted her away from the bench so that he could have his back up against it as he sat on the ground. He opened his legs and patted the ground between them for her to sit.
Janell saw the gesture and she sat between his legs, leaning her body up against his. Arms wrapped around her and a head leaned on her shoulder. She brought her head back feeling calmer than when she was in her rooms. This is just what she needed. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” He knew what she was referring to and he tightened his hold on her never wanting to let her go. He felt a calm come over himself as well as for his new love. He chuckled when he thought this.
“What’s so funny?” she asked.
“I just thought of you as my ‘new love’. It has been a long time since I had a love in my life and this feels right.” Elrond kissed her neck to show affection.
“I agree. You feel so right in my arms. Even my first husband didn’t feel this nice.”
“You were married before? Do you have any children?” Elrond never knew.
“No I am unable to bear children. I had every healer in Eregion look at me and found out that I was born with no womb. I am the last of my line. My father wanted grandchildren but now he never will. That is why I became what I am, a warrior.” A tear slipped from her eye.
Elrond watched the tear fall and kissed it away. “What happened to your husband?”
“He died when Eregion fell. I was not in love with him but we married for comfort. That’s why I never faded.”
“Let’s just sit here and enjoy the evening. We have a big day tomorrow and we need our strength to pull this off for Glorfindel.”
“You’re right. I’m comfortable just right where I am.” Janell settled in his arms with her arms holding his and gazed towards the sky, thanking the Valor for their gift.
Elrond searched out his father’s star, gave thanks and smiled.
~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, Glorfindel lay beside his husband on the bed. He was silently crying onto the shoulder where his head was resting, murmuring soft endearments into his husband’s ear trying to keep him here. Kissing the neck before his lips, he caressed the black hair at his fingers. When he could no longer cry, he slept a restful sleep and dreaming of happier times.
‘We will be together soon, my love,’ he thought.
~~~~~~~
Janell had the best sleep in her life. After Elrond dropped her off at her room, he gave her another kiss. They went their separate ways. Her heart was as light as a feather and she was in love. She knew about soul mates but never encountered her own. After a few centuries, she gave up and led a celibate life. She thought of her life as a warrior.
She woke up to a new day, with her soul mate not far from her mind. Her heart never happier than it was now. She thought of the kissed they shared last night, bringing a smile to her lips.
‘Stop of this thinking. I have a job to do,’ she thought to herself. She dressed in a tunic and leggings and made her way to breakfast.
As she entered the hall, she went to her customary place with her fellow warriors when out of the side of her eye she saw a motion with a hand. When she turned, Janell watched Elrond wave her over to her table.
“You are welcome at my table Janell,” Elrond said as she approached.
“Thank you, my lord, I was just going to sit at the warriors table.” Janell stood behind Melpomaen as she spoke.
“Come, sit beside me so that we can talk,” Elrond rose from his chair and pulled out the one next to him.
At this time, a puzzled look came over the twins faces but it was short lived when they saw the look their father was giving Janell and returned. They turned, stared at their mirror image and smiled at one another, each giving the other a nod before returning to their meal.
“Thank you, my lord,” Janell said politely before she walked over and took the seat held out by Elrond.
“Call me Elrond unless we have dignitaries. Besides, I would like to know if…” Elrond stopped what he was going to say before taking his seat. He gazed at Janell wondering if the topic of discussion he was about to say was appropriate for the table.
Janell watched the look come over Elrond’s face. “Yes, Elrond, this is the only way to go about it,” she finished for him. It was at this time that talk at the table had ceased. There was only a handful seated.
Elrond looked at her in puzzlement. ‘Does she know what I’m thinking now?’ He searched her eyes waiting for an answer. He watched the nod.
Janell heard the question clear in her mind and nodded. ‘Yes, my love, I can read your mind,’ as she continued putting food on her plate.
Elrond bowed his head and blushed. It was as if he had returned to his youth.
“Ada, is there something going on between you and our second?” Elrohir asked.
“Yes, my son, it’s true,” he replied taking Janell’s hand in his own. “I found my soul mate last night in the garden.” Elrond wanted to be open with his family so he continued. “We’ve only found out ourselves but we want to put a hold on it until Erestor is out of the woods so to speak. After we finished breaking our fast, we are going to the healing houses to help Glorfindel. Can I ask a favor of you two?” He knew from experience that he could count on his sons when needed.
“We want to help any way we can. What can we do for you, Ada?” Elladan asked.
“I want you both to help out with the training of warriors while Glorfindel and Janell are indisposed of during this time. You don’t know but yesterday I found out that Janell is a gifted healer like me and she needs my help with Erestor. We will be with him for a while, I don’t know how long.” Elrond bowed his head thinking of his long time friend.
“After what we need to do to Erestor,” Janell continued, “it will drain my powers quite a bit. I will need a few days recovery while my body heals again.” She rubbed Elrond’s knuckles to show her affection.
“We will do what is needed of us. You can put your trust in us, Ada, Janell.” Elladan addressed them both.
“Then we should get going. Glorfindel will want his husband returned to him by nightfall.” Both Elrond and Janell rose from the table and left the hall, making their way to the healing house.
As they entered, Elrond noticed a healer checking on Erestor, Glorfindel was sitting in a chair by the bed.
“Lessien, how is he?” Elrond asked.
“He’s still with us in body. Will you need my help?” Lessien asked.
Elrond gathered supplies, cleaned up Erestor of the poultice from the night before, and saw that the bigger tear was healing, as the smaller ones were completely gone. “He still has a big tear. Yes, I want you outside the door just in case anything happens. Whatever you hear will not go any further. When this is over Erestor will be back with us. Now we need to prepare.” Elrond turned to Janell.
“Glorfindel, you can get ready. Undress yourself and climb into bed,” Janell said the Balrog Slayer. “Do the foreplay part before making love. When you are ready, call us.” She watched as a blush came over her captain’s face.
Janell and Elrond went into another room off Erestor’s and got ready.
Elrond took off his robe getting comfortable. He turned to Janell. “Now what do you need me to do?”
“I need you on Erestor’s left while I’m on his right. You will place your right hand on his forehead with your fingers and I will do the same with my left.” Janell replied. “We will then clasp hands over his heart.” She heard Glorfindel call from the other room.
Janell turned to Glorfindel. He was on the bed between Erestor’s legs with a sheet covering them. He was on his elbows trying not to put pressure on his husband. “Glorfindel, you are going to make love to your bonded mate and recite the words of bonding.”
Janell appeared with a bottle. “This should help. It’s from my private stock. It contains oil which has numbing and healing abilities.” She handed the bottle to Glorfindel who had a puzzled look on his face.
Glorfindel wasn’t the only one. Elrond was learning more about Janell.
“You will have to go slow, Glorfindel,” Elrond said.
“Come Elrond, we should start.” Janell kneeled on the floor opposite Elrond. They clasp their hands on Erestor’s chest, putting their fingers on his forehead and closing their eyes.
‘Can you hear me, Elrond?’
‘Yes.’
‘We need to search the darkness for a lost fëa, one that we both know and love.’
As they searched, Glorfindel started kissing Erestor. It felt weird because there was no response from the elf below him but he continued. He smiled at the hands that were on his husband’s chest, knowing that they would find Erestor Making his way down his mate’s body, he kissed each nub trying to put him in the mood. It was working because he could feel himself getting aroused. When he got to the navel, Glorfindel put his tongue into the hole. It made his husband’s erection hard. He knew then that his body was responding to his pleasure.
Meanwhile, Elrond and Janell kept searching for the lost fëa. A few minutes later, they came across a soul that was at a white gate. They didn’t know if this was the entrance to Mandos’ Hall or not so they asked. They came across what looked like an elf sitting on the steps with his head resting on his knees.
‘Excuse me but could you help us.’ Elrond asked in his mind.
The lost soul looked up and that’s when a Janell gasped.
‘What are you doing here, Lenwë?’ Janell thought kneeling beside him.
‘I’ve been lost for so many years that I finally found the gates but I’m scared of going inside,’ the elf thought.
‘You know him, Janell?’ Elrond asked.
‘Yes, he was my husband.’ She turned to him and stroked his hair, feeling the softness of the red hair. ‘Can you help, Lenwë? We’re looking for a lost soul. He wouldn’t have entered the gates yet so he must be out here somewhere. If you have spent this amount of time out here, you would have seen something.’
‘I did see someone walk by a few hours ago. He didn’t talk to me or turn to the gates. What did he look like?’ Lenwë thought.
‘He’s about my height, pitch black hair and dark brown eyes. He would have worn a blue silk robe and black leggings.’
‘Yes, he did pass here then. He went in that direction,’ Lenwë pointed to his right. ‘It looked like he was crying.’
‘That would be Erestor,’ Elrond thought. ‘Let’s go Janell. You can’t help Lenwë.’
‘Yes I can, Elrond.’ Janell turned to Lenwë. ‘My love, you can enter the gates. There is nothing to be afraid of that you haven’t experienced before. Just walk up to the door and ring the bell.’
Lenwë gazed at his wife and nodded. It was nice to see her again and in love. He could see it in both their eyes. Lenwë rose from the step and walked towards the rope that hung from a bell. He turned back to smile and then faced forward. Grabbing the rope, he pulled it and the bell rang. The gates opened. The elf looked back, mouthed, ‘Thank you,’ to them both, and entered the gate.
They had been walking for what seemed like hours when they came upon a lonely figure sitting out in the middle of nowhere. It was then that the surrounding landscape changed into a field filled with daisies and a few trees here and there.
“Erestor,” Elrond called out, running towards him but no words came out of his mouth.
‘Erestor,’ he thought.
The dark elf raised his head and watched as Elrond and Janell ran towards them. ‘What are you doing here?’
‘We came to get you from this place and back to Rivendell.’ Elrond knelt before his Chief Advisor. ‘We all miss you.’
‘Janell what…’ Erestor couldn’t believe that Janell was standing before him. ‘What are you doing here?’
‘This was the only way for me to find you. I linked my mind with Elrond’s to find you. You have to come back with us. We all miss you.’
‘I can’t go back now. You know what he did to me. I’m tainted; no one will want me now.’ Erestor bowed his head in shame.
‘What happened to you was not your fault. And besides as we speak, Glorfindel is ready to bond with you so we must get back.’ Elrond was getting a bit weak being out of his body this long. He turned to Janell.
Janell saw the weakness come over Elrond. ‘Erestor, Glorfindel wants his mate back. The only way to keep you from fading is to recite the bonding words that you never said after you both married. He’s on the verge of doing that as we speak. Do you want to disappoint him?’
Erestor stared at the two of them. ‘Why would Glorfindel do that? Why would he want me after…?’ He couldn’t say the word. It was like poison to his mouth.
‘He loves you, my friend. Your husband would do anything to have you back, even bind with you.’ Elrond was running his hand over what he would consider hair.
‘I love him, too, but will it be enough Elrond? Will I be whole again?’
‘Yes you will,’ Janell answered. ‘I was told by Estë that healing starts from the inside. When we accept this, the healing would start. Let Glorfindel seal it with his love. When someone fades, the soul needs to be bound to another. Since you and Glorfindel never bonded when you were married, this makes it better. The love you share is strong. When you bond together, you will be able to draw strength from your husband. This will help you heal.’
‘Do you think so?’ Erestor’s fëa asked. He truly hoped it was true.
‘Yes, I do. I’ve seen it before.’ Janell turned to Elrond. ‘We need to get out of here. I’m growing weak.’ Janell’s fëa slowly was draining her.
‘I agree,’ Elrond responded. ‘Come, my friend. Let’s leave this place and go back. Someone there is waiting for you who loves you very much.’ Elrond rose and held out his hand to Erestor.
Just then, something pulled at Erestor’s fëa. ‘What’s happening? I can feel being pulled somewhere.’
‘That’s Glorfindel doing that. He’s started the bond of words that should have been said years ago,’ Janell replied.
Erestor rose and took Elrond’s hand. He watched as Janell extended hers and he took it too.
~~~~~~
Inside the Healing House, Glorfindel took the oil and prepared Erestor by stretching the star opening to his nether region. His cock grew in size as he did this. Just before he entered, he said the words of bonding.
“I, Glorfindel, of the Golden Flower and Imladris, take you Erestor has my bonded mate. I will love you with all my heart, body and soul. When you hurt, I will hurt. When you cry, I will cry. When you laugh, I will laugh.” Tears flowed down his face. He wasn’t sure if he should continue. His love for Erestor was so strong at this moment that his heart ached. Then he saw the eyes start to flutter behind eyelids. Glorfindel continued with the bond. “You are my strength which I will give you back freely. You are my world as I am yours. I will love you until the end of Arda.” Glorfindel moved his cock in and out of the tight sheath as he said the words. He was getting to the end. Then he felt something else. The Balrog Slayer felt his love’s cock spasm against his stomach. He took hold of it as he neared his completion. He stroked the one he picked up and felt it grow in his hand. Glorfindel knew then that his love, husband and friend had returned to his body.
~~~~~~~~
As Elrond and Janell took Erestor’s hand, they lead him out and back to the Healing House. They carefully placed Erestor’s fëa into his body. They each took possession of their own body and each felt relieved. Each collapsed to the floor, neither hearing what was going on in the room.
Glorfindel watched as Erestor’s eyes opened and tried to focus. His eyes were smiling.
Erestor opened his eyes and looked at the sight before him. His husband was on top of him smiling. He raised his hand and brushed the hair back from the face that he loved so much.
Glorfindel slowly lowered his upper body down a bit and kissed his husband. “My love,” he whispered against the lips before him, “finish the bond. I have said my part and I’m about ready to release myself into you.”
“I, Erestor, of Imladris, take you Glorfindel has my bonded mate. I will love you with all my heart, body and soul. When you hurt, I will hurt. When you cry, I will cry. When you laugh, I will laugh. You are my strength, which I will give you back freely. You are my world as I am yours. I will love you until the end of Arda.” Erestor said the words without hesitation. He voice was a little raspy when he said the words of bonding.
It was then that they both released themselves. At the same time their fëas left their bodies and intertwined above them, caressing each other, then entered their respective bodies with a little of each fëa inside the other. They both would know what the other felt, where they were and their love.
Glorfindel lowered himself on his elbows, not wanting to put pressure on his love and kissed the lips lightly before him, breathing heavy. “Thank you my love. I never thought I would get you back.” It was then that he realized that they were not alone in the room. He looked to each side of the bed and found both Elrond and Janell on the floor what looked to be in a healing sleep. They both had their eyes closed. He knew that the other healer would just be outside the door.
“Lessien,” Glorfindel called out. He was still laying over Erestor not wanting to lose the connection to his husband.
Lessien opened the door to find Elrond and Janell on the floor. He called out to another healer and they went forward to take Elrond and Janell to another room so that they could get some rest. Lessien knew that when Elrond used his mind powers that it drained him considerably and by that he knew that Janell would be in the same situation.
The two healers placed them on the same bed to draw body heat. With Elrond being half-elven, his body required heat. By placing Janell beside him, she could give him the source that he required. Lessien placed a blanket around them and left the room.
Unbeknownst to Lessien, they felt each other and Janell drew Elrond into her arms. Her love for the Lord of Imladris showed in her embrace. She felt Elrond snuggle up to her and she slept.
Elrond felt comfortable in someone’s arms and he took the body heat that his body required.
In the other healing room, Glorfindel felt himself slip from his husband’s body and he lay beside him. He cuddled up to Erestor and placed his head on his love’s heart, hearing it beat.
“I love you, my husband,” Glorfindel said.
“I love you, too, my husband,” Erestor replied. He took his bonded mate into his arms and closed his eyes.
Their fëas each had settled into their respective bodies and calmed them. They were each complete once more.
Neither the healers nor the bonded pair rose for two days. The other healers would come in and dribble liquids down their throats to keep up their liquid intake. The healers got Janell and Elrond out of their clothes and placed them in sleeping robes for comfort.
On the third day, Elrond woke first. He didn’t know where he was until he realized that he was in someone’s arms that felt soft and tender to his touch. He raised his head and gasped. ‘Why was he in Janell’s arms?’ he thought.
‘You were in need of the body heat.’ Janell had opened her eyes when she heard the question.
‘You can read my mind?’ Elrond thought.
‘Yes, I can,’ Janell thought. ‘Since we realized we were soul mates in the garden and with our fëas being together in Mandos’ Halls. Our bond is now stronger than before.’
Elrond raised his upper body from the bed on his elbow and stared into the eyes before. He knew then that his love grew for Janell. He lowered his lips to those before him. He ran his tongue along the edge wanting entry.
Janell brought her hand up to Elrond’s head and placed it behind his neck, drawing the healer closer. When she granted entry to her mouth, their passion knew no boundaries and each muscle wrestled with the other, tasting ever corner. She moaned her reply and turned her body needing contact.
When Elrond felt the body before his move, he brought his hand up to her breast and cupped it, making her moan again. He brushed his finger over the fabric, across her nipple and felt it get hard. Elrond also felt himself get hard against her hip. He broke off the kiss.
“We can’t do this,” he said. “I want too but it is too early.”
“I do want you too, my lord, but you are right. We should get to know one another before this happens.” Janell brushed her fingers over his cheek and then to his hair bringing it behind his ear. “We should go and see our newly bonded couple.”
“You’re right,” Elrond said. “Let’s go.” With that said, they both rose from the bed and donned robes from the chair beside the bed.
Upon entering the room with Glorfindel and Erestor, they watched as a slight glow encased them. The bond was complete. Elrond and Janell watched as the couple stirred on the bed and looked at them.
“How are you two doing?” Elrond asked. He made his way to the head of the bed and took the chair.
“We’re fine now.” Glorfindel gathered Erestor closer in his arms. “Our love has been reaffirmed and I do believe my love is stronger.”
“Yes, Elrond, I am stronger.” Erestor tried to get closer to his husband under the blankets.
“I would like to check you, Erestor, to make sure that you are healing like you should.”
“Of course,” Erestor replied.
Janell grabbed the robe at the foot of the bed and watched Glorfindel rise from the bed. He slipped into it and tied the cords around him. He turned and looked at Janell, seeing love in her eyes.
“You love him, don’t you?”
“Yes I do. He’s my soul mate, captain.” Janell used his official name.
“Just Glorfindel, Janell. Besides, I owe you my appreciation and gratitude to saving my husband’s life. I thank you for your knowledge.” Glorfindel gathered Janell in his arms.
“You are so welcome. Besides, I’m a healer and could not just sit back and watch as Erestor succumbed to Mandos’ Hall. It was quite lonely there.” In his arms, she felt tears enter her eyes thinking about Lenwë, her husband, at the gates. Her tears fell making the robe beneath her eyes wet.
Glorfindel could feel his robe get wet and pulled back with his hands on her shoulders. He brushed the tears aside. “What’s wrong, my friend?”
“I saw my husband in the Halls, outside the gates. He looked so lonely.”
“He will be alright. Námo will not leave him too long. He will be loved once again by the Valor.” Námo loved Glorfindel when he entered the Halls after Gondolin fell.
They both turned to watch Elrond check on Erestor’s healing process.
Elrond pulled back the blanket and told Erestor to spread his legs so that he could check him. Spreading the cheeks apart, he gasped at the sight before him.
“You’re completely healed! There is no redness around the area and all tears are gone. How can this be? This would have taken weeks to heal.” Elrond turned to Janell for answers.
“Elrond, when they joined and said the words, their strength for one another created a connection that each draws from the other. With their strength bonded, if one gets hurt, the other one heals him. This is what has happened. Erestor’s wounds are now completely healed.”
Elrond covered up his friend again and made his way to the foot of the bed where Janell stood. He had seen the tears in her eyes and wondered what was wrong.
‘My love?’ Elrond thought.
‘It’s nothing, just my past.’ Janell wiped her eyes with the back of her hand.
Elrond took her into his arms and kissed her forehead.
Glorfindel watched what took place between the two healers. He raised his eyebrows with a question on his face.
Janell watched the look on her captain’s face. She stood back from Elrond and took his hand in hers as she looked to Glorfindel.
“We found out last night that we’re soul mates, Glorfindel. It took us both by surprise but I do love him and would never hurt him. I would protect him with my life.” Janell looked from Glorfindel and then to Elrond.
“I love you too, my love.” Elrond placed a chaste kiss on her lips.
Erestor at this time was watching what was going on between them all. It was then that he seen a faint glow between his lord and Janell. “You’re right, Elrond. She does love you. I can feel it. How can this be?” Erestor rose up in bed to lean against the headboard.
“That’s because you stood before Mandos’ gate and you have your soul mate. Our fëas become more enhanced with feelings and sensations.” Janell gazed into Elrond’s eyes. “Because I have found my soul mate you can feel it.”
“Let’s go and leave the two of them alone.” Elrond smiled and stared back at Janell. “We need to do some talking.”
“Yes,” was all that Janell could say. She grabbed his hand and they both walked out of the room as if no one else existed.
Glorfindel didn’t know what to say when the two lovebirds left the room. This took him by surprise that his lord was in love. He turned to his husband and seen a smile on Erestor’s face.
“What do make of that?” Glorfindel asked as he took his robe off and crawled back into bed.
“It’s nice to see the two of them together. Elrond has been alone for so long since Celebrían left that in the end he found his soul mate. Come, my love, we have some time to catch up.”
Glorfindel leaned on his elbow and placed a kiss on his mate’s lips. They were as sensual as they have ever been.

~~~~~~~
Meanwhile Erestor didn’t know what hit him when he was sitting in the glade when he wanted some peace. He was dressed in a dark blue silk robe with black leggings. Unexpectedly, someone came up behind him and put his hand across his mouth. He struggled for a few minutes until someone hit him on the back of the head and he was out like a light.
He woke up, shackled to the wall with his hands above him and his feet spread apart. He was a little groggy when he raised his head to find out where he was. He looked around the room he was in and noticed that there were others chained to the walls. Amongst them was a man whose body was nothing but bones. This sent a shiver down his spine. ‘Who would leave something like that in here?’ he thought. He heard footsteps coming down the hall and he put his head back down making them think that he wasn’t awake.
A guard entered the room with a whip in his hands. He walked up to the elf and used the coiled whip to raise his head. The eyes were closed.
“Wake up,” he said, “my master wants to see you.”
Erestor opened his eyes and looked straight at the man. He was tall for a human and strongly built.
The guard proceeded to undo the chains and he let the elf fall to the floor, hearing a groan. He then proceeded to shackle him further with the chains that were on the floor. One went around his neck like a collar with a chain that fell to his stomach and then to the floor. He then put the cuffs around each of the elf’s wrists and the other ones around his ankles.
Erestor was too weak to fight back so he let the guard do his worst in chaining him back up. The cuffs were rough as they cut into his wrists. They roughly pulled him to his feet, made their way down the corridor into a room that was sparsely furnished and then out onto a balcony. They pulled on his chains making them cut his skin.
The guards placed him on a balcony outside their master’s chambers. They ripped the robe from his chest, exposing it to the elements. It gathered around his waist. One guard pushed him to his knees on the floor, which was made of stone.
Erestor looked around at his surroundings. Perched on the ledge of the wall was a cardinal. It brought him a little peace until it flew away. There was a chain that dangled from wall to the left of him. It was then that he heard footsteps come up from behind him. He turned his head to see who was behind him.
“Now, what have we here?” the human said. “I have never had an elf in my possession before so this is going to be some treat.” He walked around Erestor inspecting his property. He knew that elves lived a long time and this one would stay young as long as he lived. “I know who you are Erestor.”
Somehow, when he heard the man speaking he recognized the voice. ‘No, it couldn’t be!’ he thought. The human had wanted to sell his own kind for money when he arrived in Rivendell. He told Lord Charles that elves would not buy slaves. That it was appalling to sell your own kind.
“That’s right Erestor,” Lord Charles said when he saw the look on Erestor’s face. “Since I cannot sell my slaves, I will be making one out of you. You will bow to my every need and be by my side until the day I die. Do I make myself clear?” Charles said this with a calm voice. He was not agitated towards Erestor. He knew the kind of elf he was dealing with.
“I will not,” Erestor yelled back. “I will not submit to you or anyone else. When my husband arrives he will kick your butt from here to wherever it is that you humans go to die.” He was firm in his answer. Erestor was not going to back down from his courage.
“Yes, you will.” Just then, a whip slashed across his back making the elf wince.
Erestor felt the whip hit his back, making him push his chest forward. He hissed at the pain as he felt blood run down his back. This was not a caring man. He bowed his head before him resting his hands on the stone floor.
“Ah, submission after all. This is good to see.” Charles walked around Erestor. He was going to enjoy this elf after all who would at least bring life to his boring one.
“I will not submit! You can whip me all you want and I will never submit.” Erestor was getting angry with this human. No one treated him this way! He tried pulling his chains to see if they would break but there was no chance. They were made of mithril. ‘How did you get a hold of mithril?’ he thought.
“You can’t get out of those chains which were specially made for you. I had them commissioned before I came to that valley hoping to find a new slave for myself. When I saw you, I knew I had to have you. You were the only one with black hair that was so beautiful.” Charles could feel himself getting hard under his leggings as he touched the hair before his fingers. This pleased him very much.
Erestor could not believe his eyes. The human was going to use his body! Did he know the truth?
“You can’t take me. Do you realize that if you rape me I could die? If you want me in your service then you can’t do that to me. I will never yield my body to you. I will fight you with everything that I have.” Erestor started to panic when he heard this. He would never see his husband again or his friends. No, no, he couldn’t do this!
“I know I can’t take you without your consent. That’s why I’m willing to wait and gain your confidence in me.” Charles knew that saying this would ease the elf’s mind.
‘What kind of game was this human playing? Get to know me!’ Erestor snorted when he heard that last part. “I will never submit to you!” he spat. “I would die before that would happen.”
“Then you will not see your husband again. I know you have a mate. I enquired about it when I was there,” said Charles. He got information out of the elves without being inconspicuous. They never knew that Lord Charles was going to kidnap one of their own.
Erestor was growing weak from the injury to his head and the whip that marked his back. He bowed his head and fell over, passing out.
Lord Charles watched as his slave passed out. He took the elf over to the wall where the chain hung and locked Erestor’s hands on it bringing the knees of the elf up to his chest as if he was crouched on the floor. ‘This is going to be a long process in breaking this one,’ thought Charles but he would do it quickly. The lust he had for the elf was overwhelming. He left the elf on the balcony while he attended to some other matters.
~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~
Charles was not in his council chambers more than five minutes when he thought of the lovely package that the guards delivered to his chamber balcony. There was no one in the room as he was waiting for his advisors to arrive. He couldn’t wait any longer.
Making his way back to his chambers, he made his way out to the balcony and saw Erestor still chained to the wall. The elf never raised his head so he knew that he was still out. This was his chance. He opened the lock and draped the elf’s body across a table, belly down. With the chains being short, the elf’s wrists were under his upper body. Charles then opened his breeches to release his cock, which had become hard in the council chambers.
He ripped the leggings off Erestor and spread his feet. Without preparing the elf, he took his cock in his hand and entered him. With the elf passed out, he would never know that he took him against his own will.
After releasing inside the elf, Charles cleaned himself with a rag he found on the table and left the elf the way he was: open and ready for more.
~~~~~~
~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, Glorfindel lay beside his husband on the bed. He was silently crying onto the shoulder where his head was resting, murmuring soft endearments into his husband’s ear trying to keep him here. Kissing the neck before his lips, he caressed the black hair at his fingers. When he could no longer cry, he slept a restful sleep and dreaming of happier times.
‘We will be together soon, my love,’ he thought.
~~~~~~~
~~~~~~
Inside the Healing House, Glorfindel took the oil and prepared Erestor by stretching the star opening to his nether region. His cock grew in size as he did this. Just before he entered, he said the words of bonding.
“I, Glorfindel, of the Golden Flower and Imladris, take you Erestor has my bonded mate. I will love you with all my heart, body and soul. When you hurt, I will hurt. When you cry, I will cry. When you laugh, I will laugh.” Tears flowed down his face. He wasn’t sure if he should continue. His love for Erestor was so strong at this moment that his heart ached. Then he saw the eyes start to flutter behind eyelids. Glorfindel continued with the bond. “You are my strength which I will give you back freely. You are my world as I am yours. I will love you until the end of Arda.” Glorfindel moved his cock in and out of the tight sheath as he said the words. He was getting to the end. Then he felt something else. The Balrog Slayer felt his love’s cock spasm against his stomach. He took hold of it as he neared his completion. He stroked the one he picked up and felt it grow in his hand. Glorfindel knew then that his love, husband and friend had returned to his body.
~~~~~~~~
