UNTITLED... Coming soon

From deep within the Halls of Mandos the hands of the Valar lifted the silent form of Glorfindel. Each of them, in turn, cradled the fallen elf and breathed into him, thus rekindling the Flame of Ilúvatar within him. Then Manwë placed the elf reborn into Arda, naked and aglow with the Light of the Valar.

Aulë was filled with concern, for the Light of the Valar was bright and he thought it unwise to loose it upon the world in the frame of an elf. But Manwë allayed the worries of Aulë, saying unto him, “As the light of the smithy quickly fades from the newly forged steel, so shall the Light of the Valar fade from his newly forged form.”

Glorfindel then awoke and beheld all around him. The Light of the Valar shone in his eyes and sang in his ears, and the world appeared to him as it did to the very first of the Children of Ilúvatar who walked upon the lands. He walked among the trees and the fields, enchanted by all that he beheld. The sight of the sun, moon and stars, made him weep with joy. The sound of the creatures of Arda was as sweet to him as the songs of the Ainur themselves. The touch of the winds was as gentle as the caress of a lover.

Then to the ears of Glorfindel came a most melodious song. Following the sound he came unto a pool, where a daughter of Men bathed in the cool waters. Enthralled by the sight of the elf lord, radiant with the majesty of the Valar, she came to him and gave herself unto him. Intoxicated by the feel of her flesh, Glorfindel gently took her and lay with her.

For long whiles they coupled; again and again Glorfindel worked into her and filled her with his passion. As he passed on his seed, so did he pass on that which the Valar had given him. For the Light did not fade, but instead bound itself to the unborn that Glorfindel had placed within the maiden’s womb, and would grant his offspring unforeseen powers

Thus the fears of Aulë came to pass.
