BEAUTIFUL

"NAY! This cannot be true…"

Erestor stared at his Lord; sheer horror on his face, his fëa (soul) screaming protests.

"Do you… do you really mean that… that Lord Glorfindel has re-born?" He finally stammered.

"Aye, Erestor. And he is already here… right now. I'm sorry I informed you so late but you really didn't give me many options. And I request that you welcome him with the respect he deserves", Elrond answered, somewhat sternly. He couldn't understand how his friend could dislike someone so much, especially when he was otherwise a quiet, warm and caring elf. Elrond didn't know a lot about Erestor's former life in Gondolin and, after noticing the topic somewhat tender, he hadn't pressed him to tell. Every time mentioned Glorfindel's name, Erestor turned cold and distant. What had happened between them?

Erestor froze. Elrond had never addressed him like that before. They had always been close friends and this kind of discussion had never taken place in their relationship. But Glorfindel O Gondolin was a totally different matter.

Both had avoided this explosive topic but that wasn't possible anymore.

"I'm sure I can handle the situation, Elrond. I won't show my… disliking in public, but I cannot promise to be friends with him", Erestor said coldly, and turned to leave.

"Oh nay, Erestor, you're not going anywhere! As we speak right now, Glorfindel is being summoned and he should be here anytime soon. He will live with us, Erestor, you cannot avoid him, as much as you would like to, and this meeting is a good beginning to start dispersing your ridiculous prejudice."

"Prejudice? Prejudice! Oh, how wrong you are, Elrond. I will never be able to tell you the truth. The truth has finally come after me and will break my whole life within minutes… I will never survive this humiliation."

"As you wish", Erestor spat, not bothering to continue with this fruitless conversation. He could full well wait for his nemesis in silence; with dignity. Soon, very soon, that dignity would be torn away from him…

Both elves heard a loud knock at the door, and Elrond went to answer, after glancing at his Chief-councilor with worry. He didn't want to scold Erestor, but this was a difficult situation. They needed a new captain desperately, and the Balrog-slayer would make a powerful reinforcement for Imladris' army.

Erestor turned his gaze to the door; his heart pounding violently in his chest. He suddenly felt like an insecure, young elf, the one he had been in Gondolin. And when he finally looked at the newcomer's features, he couldn't suppress a gasp.

The Lord of the Golden Flower hadn't changed at all. Same golden hair, same striking blue eyes, same beautiful face and powerful body. Erestor was more terrified than ever before in his life.

Glorfindel smiled and answered respectfully to his new Lord's welcoming. He was still speaking when he heard a gasp behind Lord Elrond's back. When he turned around a hesitant smile shone upon his face.

"Erestor? Is that really you?" He whispered.

"Aye, I am Erestor. Welcome back, Glorfindel, I hope you will soon feel at home in Imladris", Erestor said with a forced smile.

Glorfindel was stunned. He had known that Erestor was here in Imladris, but he could have never expected this kind of welcoming from him.

They hadn't been in best terms when the city had fallen, but Erestor's obvious coldness was an unpleasant surprise for him, especially, because Erestor was the only elf he knew here and, there was another reason, but Glorfindel didn't want to think about it now, when more urgent issues demanded his attention.

"Can I speak to you, Erestor, in private?" Glorfindel finally said, after a long and awkward silence.

Erestor was surprised. Why did Glorfindel want to talk to him? This, indeed, wasn't the reaction he had been waiting for. Or… was it possible that Glorfindel just wanted to play with him first, before giving his fatal blow? Before Erestor could say anything, Elrond answered for him.

"Erestor can escort you to your rooms and, if you wish, you can talk in private", Elrond said and dismissed them.

Erestor could do nothing but comply, he beckoned Glorfindel to follow him, and they left Elrond in his study.

The silence between them was awkward and Erestor didn't do anything to ease it. He silently waited for Glorfindel's first move thinking that, whatever it would be, he could wait for a little bit longer. When Erestor finally opened Glorfindel's door and led the Balrog- slayer in, he gathered his courage and their gazes met. Those blue eyes were as beautiful as Erestor remembered them, but the gaze in them was completely different; it was weary and sad.

"What did I do to you?"

Erestor flinched.

"What do you mean?" He stuttered, not knowing what Glorfindel had meant by that.

"Erestor, saes (please)! You obviously dislike me for some unknown reason. I want to know what it is and if I can make amends. I don't want any silly games between us, you are the only elf I know here and I hoped we could be friends."

Erestor laughed bitterly.

"Games, you say. That is really unexpected from you, Glorfindel. Why do I remember that you were quite fond of games when we were in Gondolin?" Erestor quickly walked to the door, knowing that he had to get away before he broke down in front of Glorfindel. But the Balrog-slayer was faster than he had thought, and for Erestor's utter horror, Glorfindel stepped closer and grabbed his arm.

"I will let you go, but first you have to tell me what you meant by that. I know that we weren't friends, but I never thought you would hate me. What did I do to you to deserve your hatred?"

"I don't want to talk about it. Take your hands away, now!" Erestor commanded with a cold tone.

"Do you really want things between us to be like this, Erestor? Don't you remember the time when we were friends? How I wanted you to be something more than that? Why couldn't you just reject me, if the thought was so repulsive?" Glorfindel yelled, angrily.

How he had waited, hoping that their reunion would be the beginning of something beautiful… But now he saw his own foolishness. Erestor didn't want him now, like he hadn't wanted him before. Glorfindel freed the elf; his hopes completely crushed. He turned away before Erestor could see his tears.

Erestor was astonished: Had he seen Glorfindel crying, or what was that shimmering he had noticed in those beautiful eyes? This encounter had been completely different than he had expected. Wordlessly, he stared at Glorfindel's back, and after seeing his shoulders slightly shaking, Erestor knew he had gone too far.

"Glorfindel… I…"

"Go, Erestor; You had made your point completely clear, I won't bother you with my presence if I can avoid it."

Erestor stepped closer and, after a moment of hesitation, he put his hand on Glorfindel's shoulder. Erestor felt the elda flinching, but he didn't step away.

"Glorfindel, I'm sorry. I don't want to be your enemy. And I don't hate you", Erestor said softly.

"What? Do you still want something from me? Didn't I say that I would leave you be?" Glorfindel whispered, silently hoping that Erestor would just go away.

"You were right, we should try to get along we cannot avoid each other forever, not when we are living in a place like Imladris. This is a much smaller place than mighty Gondolin", Erestor offered, but soon noticed that Glorfindel wasn't ready to buy his concession.

"There is no need to make amends when you are obviously unwilling to do so. I'm sorry I pushed you. Let me assure you that I won't make that mistake again", the elda said, still looking away.

Glorfindel's obvious rejection hurt more than Erestor believed it was possible, but there was nothing he could do, not now. Erestor finally left; his heart aching.

*******************************************************************************************

"This will not do, Erestor! I have had enough of this situation", Elrond sighed, studying Erestor's worn appearance with a worry.

The advisor was always tired, and he had lost too much weight for his liking. Erestor rarely came to dinner anymore, preferring to dine in his own rooms. Elrond couldn't say which was worse: if Glorfindel and Erestor were present, the atmosphere turned stiff and uneasy; but if the Advisor stayed away, Glorfindel was so gloomy that Elrond could have screamed out of sheer frustration.

This situation affected other Imladris' inhabitants too, everyone was always alert when Glorfindel and Erestor were near each other.

"I'm sorry, Elrond, I have let you down, I know it, but there is nothing I can do", Erestor whispered sadly. He had bitterly regretted his coldness towards Glorfindel, but he couldn't undo his actions. Glorfindel avoided him, and they hadn't changed but few, awkward words after that first, disastrous day. Erestor absently rubbed his temples, feeling the beginnings of a headache.

"Glorfindel has been here almost a year now. Don't you think that he, too, would be ready to discuss and fix your relationship? If you cannot be friends, I hope that at least you could live side by side", Elrond suggested carefully. He couldn't understand what was the matter, but he had to do something. Everyone was suffering this constant tension. And now that the Yule was coming, this situation had to change, otherwise, the whole celebration- time would be ruined.

"I'm so tired of this situation that I would do anything to change it. But I don't know if Glorfindel is ready to do the same. I was cruel to him. If he hates me, it's my own doing", Erestor said sadly.

Elrond went and took his friend into his arms. Erestor's melancholy tore his heart.

"What if I asked him? Would you be ready to talk to him?" Elrond asked again, hoping that Erestor would finally agree. They had had this conversation many times, but Erestor was always refused to discuss about it.

Erestor nodded.

"He thinks that I hate him, but that is not true, I just hoped that he would believe the fact, even if he doesn't want to be my friend. But that might be too much to ask."

"I believe you, Erestor."

Erestor's head snapped up, and he stared straight into Glorfindel's sad eyes.

"I'm sorry that I sneaked in like this, but I knocked and nobody answered", Glorfindel said hesitantly. He hoped that Erestor wouldn't be very upset for his intrusion.

Erestor was nervous, but he decided to take this sudden chance to talk with Glorfindel.

"It is me who should apologize, Glorfindel, I am very sorry about how I welcomed you here. Imladris is your home too and I hoped you would feel welcomed", Erestor said shyly, not daring to meet Glorfindel's gaze. Silently, he wondered why Glorfindel made him feel like he was a young elf again: awkward and far too vulnerable.

"I would be very glad if we could fix things and start anew. Our cold terms have bothered me quite a lot", Glorfindel said carefully, not daring to believe this. For many months he had silently grieved Erestor's coldness. Was it possible that he would now finally find the reason behind it? He would talk with Erestor, but he didn't dare to hope. Another disappointment would be too painful, so, it was better not to hope.

"Could you come to my rooms tonight? I want to take my time to tell you everything. At least I owe you a proper explanation."

"I will be there", Glorfindel promised, too stunned to remember why he had come to seek his Lord.

Before Elrond or Erestor could say anything, the elda was already gone.

Elrond could only stare at an empty place, completely stunned by this encounter. When he finally recovered, he turned and looked at his advisor.

"So, you didn't need my help, after all. I really hope that things change from now on."

"I will do my best. I should have done this from the beginning. We need to have a long conversation; probably, many things will be differently after it", Erestor said, determinedly.

*******************************************************************************************

Glorfindel knocked at Erestor's door; his heart racing. He had no idea what to wait for.

The door opened, and a young elf peeked at the corridor, then turned to Glorfindel. The elda gasped, when he realized he had made a mistake.

"Erestor? Is it really you?" Glorfindel asked, completely stunned. The raven- haired elf wore now a red, loose shirt and tight, black leggings. Glorfindel had never seen Erestor wearing anything but black, formal robes.

"I hope you don't mind my attire. I get enough of formal clothes when I need to wear them at work", Erestor said shyly, trying not to stare at Glorfindel's stunning appearance.

"I don't mind… at all. You look… beautiful", Glorfindel blurted out without thinking. And to his delight, Erestor wasn't offended; he just blushed beautifully.

"Come in, Glorfindel, we really need to talk", Erestor beckoned, letting the elda in.

They settled on a soft couch before the crackling fireplace, with goblets of mulled wine in their hands.

"Before I tell you anything, I really beg you not to tell anyone else. It is hard to remember things like this; which have hurt so much, even if it is now past", Erestor whispered; a distant gaze in his eyes.

"I really have no idea why you cannot trust me, Erestor. If I hurt you someway, it happened by accident, and I have not known about it. I could never hurt you on purpose."

Erestor heard detained sorrow in Glorfindel's voice and instinctively met his gaze. Erestor saw pure sincerity and sadness in Glorfindel's eyes and realized that he could trust him. He gathered his thoughts for a moment before he started his tale.

*******************************************************************************************

"I was always different, and I wasn't in good terms with my oldest brother. I wasn't the warrior, like everyone else in my family. Though I managed the weaponry quite well that never was my own choice. As soon as I had reached my majority, I left my home and joined King Turgon's household to serve as an advisor. And then I met you.

I fell in love with you at first sight, but I could never do anything to pursue you. I was far too shy and insecure for that. My personal hell began when Ecthelion found about my feelings. I feared terribly that he would reveal you my childish crush and that you would laugh at me. He blackmailed me, threatening to tell you, and I had to prevent it no matter how. The things he made me to do… I cannot think of them now… I just say that I would never forgive him, never!

And you were his best friend; that was, maybe, the most painful fact for me. Glorfindel and Ecthelion… two Lords of two famed houses, friends, companions in arms, sworn shield-brothers you were… But me, always despised, repelled among my own flesh and blood…. Ecthelion constantly said to me that I wasn't worth of your love and I believed him. But then… you finally noticed me… and I thought that all my dreams would become true. What a fool I was!

Do you remember when you invited me to the Yule-festival and I accepted?" Erestor asked, studying Glorfindel's face.

"I remember. I was devastated when you didn't come. I thought that you had changed your mind." Glorfindel admitted, beginning to anticipate what Erestor was trying to tell him.

"I didn't change my mind. I… even bought new clothes so that you would see me under a different light. But then, one night before the festival, I overheard a conversation between you and Ecthelion and I decided to stay away", Erestor whispered with tears in his eyes.

"Tell me, Erestor. What did you hear?" Glorfindel urged; a nauseous feeling in his stomach.

"Ecthelion asked why did you want to waist your time with someone like me? He tried his best to convince you that I was completely hopeless and a disgrace to my family and that you would find a much more worthy companion if you wanted."

"And then he said that maybe you had some ability to please me in bed for sometime, but that was all… and I didn't utter a word to defend you…" Glorfindel breathed; memories flooding his mind.

"…and then I heard you… kissing", Erestor whispered finally.

"Oh, Erestor! If only I had known. But there is more. You don't know everything about those events. Could you listen to me, so that I can tell you the rest?" Glorfindel pleaded; his heart aching. Now he understood the pain in Erestor's eyes. He had seen it many times, but hadn't been able to understand its cause.

"Tell me. I have carried this burden long enough. Your arrival made all the old wounds open again and that's why I was so cold to you. "

"It is true that I didn't say a word on your defense, but that was only because I was completely shocked by Ecthelion's attitude. I was furious about his arrogant assumptions; that I would gladly abandon you like that. And my contempt had no limits when I found out how he treated his own brother. He tried to kiss me, that's true, but you didn't know that I pushed him away. I never wanted him the same way I have wanted you. We were never lovers, that I swear and, I assume that you left so quickly that you didn't hear how I lectured him thoroughly and then hit him", Glorfindel explained Erestor; his anger rising.

Erestor couldn't believe his ears.

"So that's why you didn't come to us anymore… and he…" Erestor gasped.

"… had that enormous bruise on his jaw!" Glorfindel continued.

"I wish I had known. So many years, so many tears… only because of a misunderstanding", Erestor whispered with tears finally breaking out. He buried his face into his hands, sobbing miserably.

Glorfindel hesitated for a moment, but then he took Erestor in his arms, trying to soothe him. The elda closed his eyes when Erestor clung on to him, seeking consolation and he was more than ready to give it. If this was the only way to be near the one he loved, so be it. When Erestor's tears finally ran dry, Glorfindel lifted his chin and their gazes met.

"I'm so happy to hear that you don't hate me, Erestor. Were you really in love with me when we were younger?" Glorfindel asked softly.

Erestor blushed, completely embarrassed. He hadn't meant to blurt his secret out like that. He tried to escape, but Glorfindel didn't let him go. Finally, he couldn't do anything but nod, terribly fearing Glorfindel's reaction. Erestor was amazed when Glorfindel didn't laugh at him, but smiled gently.

"That's good to know, because I fell in love with you at first sight and, since then, I have wanted no other", the elda whispered. He hadn't let Erestor go yet so, he just stared at him with an adoring gaze in his eyes.

"What do we do now, Glorfindel?" Erestor managed to ask.

"What do you want us to do? My feelings are still the same, but what about yours? No games, Erestor, only the truth", Glorfindel said seriously.

"I… my feelings… are also the same. I still love you, Glorfindel", Erestor finally admitted; his throat tight with emotion.

For a moment they could only stare each other. But then Erestor realized how close Glorfindel was and his heart started to race.

"Erestor? Can I… kiss you? I have wanted that so much", Glorfindel murmured, leaning closer. Erestor could only nod and, in the next moment, Glorfindel had captured his mouth into the sweetest kiss he had ever known.

"Erestor, meleth (love)… I have dreamed of this, of you… for so long. Have you any idea how beautiful you are?" Glorfindel whispered when they finally broke the kiss.

Glorfindel's words made Erestor flinch. And he started to back away, to Glorfindel's surprise.

"I'm not beautiful, you don't have to lie to me, Glorfindel", he said, staring blankly at the ceiling.

"Why do you say so? I am not lying to you, Erestor. To me, you are the most beautiful elf I have ever seen", Glorfindel tried to say, but soon noticed that Erestor didn't believe him.

"You are wrong. I know that I'm no warrior, nor my body is as… well- formed. You will be disappointed if you expect something like that from me." Erestor whispered, completely embarrassed. How could he ever express his feelings for Glorfindel when he was nothing but insignificance?

Starting to realize how much Erestor had suffered, Glorfindel struggled to hide his anger. Ecthelion's cruelty had completely crushed his self- confidence. And even if Erestor's mockers had long ago left to the Halls of Waiting, their foul deeds were still alive in his mind, constantly hurting him. He had to do something, anything, to convince Erestor that he really was beautiful and attractive.

"Erestor? You said you love me, right?" Glorfindel asked gently.

Erestor nodded silently, wondering what Glorfindel meant by such a question.

"If you love me, could you also trust me?"

"I… trust you. I think I always have, even if I have told you otherwise", Erestor said softly.

"Do you trust me so much that you would let me show you how I feel for you?"

"What do you mean?" Erestor asked with a small voice, even when he had started to realize where this conversation was leading.

"I want to touch you and love you as you deserve to be loved. For so long I have dreamed of you, meleth", Glorfindel whispered, pulling Erestor closer. For his delight, Erestor didn't struggle to get away.

"I don't know about that… How could I ever… I love you but…" Erestor mumbled against Glorfindel's firm chest.

Glorfindel took Erestor's hand, pressing it upon his heart. He felt the hand trembling when Erestor realized how fast his heart was beating.

"Do you feel it, meleth? Do you feel how hard my heart is beating for you? This is what you do to me with your mere closeness."

Erestor hesitated for a moment. Then, he relaxed into Glorfindel's arms, finally deciding to let go. How good it felt to finally give himself to someone he had loved for so long.

"Be gentle with me, saes", Erestor said, kissing Glorfindel shyly. He sighed happily when Glorfindel gently returned the kiss.

"Soon you'll see how much I love you", Glorfindel whispered against Erestor's lips and carried him to bed.

******************************************************************************************

Erestor couldn't hide his trembling, and Glorfindel knew that he had to be extremely careful with Erestor before the elf could open to him. But the prize would be worth it. He wanted nothing more than to have Erestor's unreserved love. His heart ached when he thought how much this beautiful creature had suffered because of his own family. Those who should have loved and cherish him, had hurt him and treated him cruelly.

"Never again, Erestor nín. I will love and protect you, so that you forget they ever existed", Glorfindel thought.

Glorfindel started carefully. He gathered Erestor in his arms, kissing him softly. He didn't try to deepen the kiss, he just tempted and teased Erestor with light kisses, until the raven- haired elf moaned, wanting more. Only then, Glorfindel allowed himself to taste the sweetness that was Erestor's mouth. The elda moaned at the sensation; he had never tasted anything so heavenly before. Slowly, he gently kissed Erestor's face, then finally moved to taste his tender neck. Glorfindel smiled happily when he felt Erestor relaxing, responding eagerly to his touch.

"Would you let me undress you, meleth? I wanted to see you", Glorfindel finally asked but, to his disappointment, he felt Erestor stiffening.

"I want you… more that you know, Glorfindel. But… I don't know if I can ever…" the raven- haired elf whispered, devastated. Erestor felt so ashamed of his body. He knew full well that he wasn't beautiful. He was sure that Glorfindel would be disappointed of him.

Erestor stirred from his dark musings when he felt something wet upon his cheek. Had he been crying without noticing it? Soon he found that it wasn't him but Glorfindel, who's eyes were full of tears.

"Glorfindel? Why are you crying? What did I do?" Erestor asked, unsure.

The elda turned his head, and their gazes met.

"You have no reason to hide yourself from me, meleth. I love you more than anything; I could never love another. It breaks my heart that you think me capable of lying to you", Glorfindel whispered, his blue eyes full of tears and pain.

Finally, Erestor gave in, and let Glorfindel undress him. He feared Glorfindel's reaction terribly so, he kept his eyes tightly closed when he felt gentle hands removing his clothing, piece by piece. He didn't dare to open his eyes, even if he felt Glorfindel shifting further.

"Meleth… look at me, saes. Look what you do to me", Glorfindel pleaded softly.

Slowly, hesitantly, Erestor opened his eyes and gasped when he saw Glorfindel's gaze. There were no loathing, contempt nor disappointment in those beautiful eyes; only love, joy and sheer adoration. And he also saw Glorfindel in all his glory, completely bare and beautiful in his desire. Wordless, Erestor opened his arms to his meleth, welcoming him.

"Erestor…. Erestor nín (my Erestor). I love you so much", Glorfindel whispered and then moaned when he finally felt Erestor's bare skin against his own. Glorfindel pulled the trembling elf on top of him, holding him tight. He loved how Erestor writhed in his arms and he could feel how his body began to stir. Glorfindel let his hands wonder on Erestor's back and buttocks, caressing and exploring. Erestor made him burn with desire.

"Kiss me, meleth", Glorfindel whispered. He smiled happily when Erestor complied and kissed him; shyly at first, but soon desire took hold of him. Waves of passion shook Glorfindel's very core when Erestor's tongue explored his mouth thoroughly and he could only moan helplessly.

Finally, Glorfindel gathered his wits and gently turned Erestor on his back. He took a look at Erestor and, for his delight, the elf didn't try to cover himself anymore. Erestor stared at him with lust- hazed eyes, and his chest heaved in time with his quickened breathing.

"Erestor nín. Do you love me?" He asked gently, but demanding an answer.

"Aye… I love you Glor nín", Erestor whispered huskily. His insecurity had vanished like ash in the wind. He had felt pure love and desire in Glorfindel's touches, and he wanted nothing else than to give himself completely to him.

"And I love you. I want you to believe me when I say that you are the most beautiful creature I have ever seen. Say it, meleth. Say that you believe me", Glorfindel pleaded. The look in his beautiful eyes was so honest and pure that Erestor couldn't deny him anything.

"I… believe you. I trust you. Touch me, saes. I want you to love me."

Tears of happiness brimmed Glorfindel's eyes when he finally heard those words. He forgot everything else when their lips met in a searing kiss.

"I will love you, and I will touch you until your beautiful body burns for me, and you scream my name", Glorfindel murmured, and pinned Erestor against the mattress. He lowered his head and started to spread hot kisses on Erestor's chest. He enjoyed every moan that escaped from Erestor's mouth as he continued his journey lower. Glorfindel kissed and tasted every inch of Erestor's quivering body, worshipping his meleth with all the love and passion he held in his heart.

Erestor screamed Glorfindel's name when the elda finally reached his aching arousal, stroking him gently. Without even knowing it, he swayed his hips, presenting to Glorfindel the most sensual sight he had ever seen.

"So beautiful… incredible…. Erestor nín…" The elda whispered, taking Erestor into his mouth. He didn't keep Erestor's hips still, but let him thrust in freely. Glorfindel trembled when Erestor finally released himself into his mouth, screaming his name. Glorfindel swallowed greedily, taking pleasure on Erestor's voluptuous taste. Without a rush, he kissed his way back and took the almost unconscious elf in his arms, kissing him gently.

Erestor opened his eyes, and gasped with the love he saw in Glorfindel's gaze. He could feel Glorfindel's love for him, from the way Glorfindel still caressed and kissed him. Silent rightness dwelled inside Erestor when he made his request.

"Glor nín. I never knew… I could feel like this. Would you… make love to me?"

"Oh meleth! Nothing would make me happier. But you have to be sure. You know that there is no coming back after it."

"I know, and I want you. I want to be yours more than I have ever wanted anything", Erestor said softly, but surely. He belonged to Glorfindel, whatever happened.

"And I want you too, Erestor nín. I will love you with all my heart and soul, forever." Glorfindel said; his heart starting to race. Finally he would have the deepest desire of his heart fulfilled. Glorfindel took the vial of oil that Erestor offered him and started to prepare his meleth for what was coming.

"I will be gentle. I want that you to enjoy this as much as I will." Glorfindel whispered, carefully pressing one digit inside Erestor. To his relief, he didn't notice any pain or fear on Erestor's beautiful face.

"I love you." Erestor breathed and then gasped, surprised when he felt another finger. He didn't feel pain, but something new that stirred inside him, drowning him in the sea of passion. And suddenly, a hot wave of pleasure shot trough him. Erestor heard the voice he didn't recognize as his own, begging:

"Come… come now! Saes!"

"Aye, meleth. Now." Glorfindel said huskily, leaning closer. Slowly, he gently pushed in, finally taking Erestor as his own. Glorfindel stilled for a moment, seeking Erestor's lips. They kissed, deeply and lovingly, while Glorfindel started to move. Cries of ecstasy filled the chamber while they loved each other. Their bodies and faer (souls) burning into one forever. Erestor felt Glorfindel trembling in his arms, and a blinding rapture exploded within him. He could only open and yield to the frenzied flame that burned them both, making their bond complete, unbreakable.

"Glorfindel… meleth. I didn't know…" Erestor admitted with a hoarse voice; overwhelming emotions dwelling inside him.

"Nor did I. But now you are mine, all mine, forever." Glorfindel whispered softly, staring at his mate's flushed face. He was startled when Erestor suddenly buried his face in his chest and started to cry.

"Did I hurt you?" Glorfindel asked, concerned.

"Nay… but I… I have waited for you, this, for so long. It is just so hard to believe that this is true; that you really wanted me."

"This is true. And I will want you till the end of Arda, Erestor nín. I will never let you go."

Erestor smiled. He belonged to the only elf he had ever loved, he who made him complete. Glorfindel filled him, and his world now, and he wasn't alone anymore.

******************************************************************************************

After several, ecstatic day they finally decided that maybe, they needed to appear for dinner. Glorfindel and Erestor walked hand in hand to the Fire- hall and stopped in their tracks. Both had completely forgotten that it was Yule. They looked at Elrond, who had stood up from his seat. The Lord's face was delighted at first, but then he congealed, staring over their heads. Glorfindel glanced up and started to chuckle.
