Cold Comfort

Notes: Writing this fic took me one year. :/ Last January tarlwen and I were in a similar situation which inspired this story. RL kept me from writing though.

A big thank you to tarlwen for the drive through the snow storm and the beta. *hugs*

“That was the most stupid idea you ever had!” Billy sighed, wiping the window in front of him with the back of his hand – not that it improved the sight on the road. Millions of snowflakes were dancing in the headlights.

“Oh! You forgot about the time when I exchanged Vig’s and Bean’s lube with glue,” Dom commented in a dry voice and let his head roll to the side so that he could see Billy.

The Scot’s lips twitched in remembrance and he made a little snorting sound. “Okay, you win. This is the second most stupid idea you ever had!”

Dom lifted his mitten-clad hand in protest. “But how was I supposed to know that there is a fucking snowstorm out here?” A deep sigh escaped Dom’s lips and he turned up the heating. “All I suggested was that we go and see a movie,” he continued. “And you were the one who insisted to watch the only decent movie in the cinema farthest away.”

Billy replied with a grunt, his eyes narrowing to slits as he tried to make out where the road was lying in the snow ahead. “Put the radio on, Dom, will ya? I want to know if the snowstorm continues to be this bad. If yes, we should turn around and drive back.”

Dom leant forward and hit the buttons on the radio, but only hissing noises could be heard.

“Shite…” Billy bit his lower lip.

Dom had continued playing with the radio and now grinned with triumph when suddenly music filled the small cabin of the car. “The radio doesn’t work, but there is a tape in it,” he exclaimed, his grin broadening when he recognized the song.

“Dom?” Billy pulled up his eyebrows in question when Dom who was sitting next to him on the passenger seat suddenly began to sigh and moan to the popular tune.

“Mister, your eyes are full of hesitation…” the younger man mouthed the words to the song while placing his index-finger on Billy’s lips to silence him. “Sure makes me wonder if you know what I’m looking for…”

Billy continued driving slowly, all the while eyeing Dom from the side.

“Baby, I wanna keep my reputation…” An innocent smile appeared on Dom’s face. “I’m a sensation…you try me once you beg for more…” Ever so slowly Dom let his right hand glide down his upper body, starting to roll his hips in tune to the music. “Oh, yes, Sir, I can boogie, but I need a certain song…I can boogie, boogie woogie all night long…” Dom drew out the last words, letting his hand settle suggestively on Billy’s thigh.

“You’re insane!” the Scot snickered, shaking his head.

Dom shrugged and let out a small sigh, letting his head sink down against Billy’s shoulder. “…and you love me for it…” His eyelashes fluttered as he looked up at his best friend in a dreamy way.

“Brat!” Billy snorted, the expression on his face turning serious again as he stared into the snowstorm raging outside. “Fuck… I can’t see anything…”

Dom nodded thoughtfully, a little yawn escaping his lips. “Fucking snow…”

Billy cocked his head slightly, looking down at Dom with amusement. “Something more useful you’d maybe like to add?” he asked.

“No, I’m quite happy the way things are.” Dom sat up and stretched himself like a tired little baby kitten.

“Of course…” Billy bit back a curse when he felt the tyres slide away on the slick underground. “Shite!”

“Whoa! Careful!” Dom’s eyes widened in shock. “What was that?”

“The bloody road is frozen,” Billy hissed through clenched teeth, trying to get the car to move again, but the tyres refused to get grip on the ground. “Fuck!” Billy knocked his hands against the driving wheel.

Dom frowned. It was unlike Billy to curse like that. He took off the safety belt and opened the door. “Relax, I’ll see if I can give us a little push or something,” Dom explained, already jumping out of the vehicle and nearly falling on his ass when his feet suddenly slipped away. He bit back a curse and carefully stepped around the car, more leaning against it than actually pushing as he reached the back. Apparently it was enough though as the car suddenly made a jump, the tires getting grip on the snowy ice again.

“Holy mother of God!” Dom muttered with clattering teeth when he had finally climbed back into the warm cave of the car. He rubbed his stiff fingers. “Another minute out there and important parts of my body might’ve frozen off.”

Billy looked at his shivering friend and grinned mischievously. “And what parts would that be?” he wanted to know.

“I guess you’ll never know…” Dom waggled his eyebrows suggestively, then turned his head away from Billy to stare into the darkness ahead as he suddenly didn’t feel like joking anymore. “Still hasn’t gotten better… Any idea how much longer we have to drive?”

Billy scratched his thinning ginger hair. “Shouldn’t be too long…” He leant slightly forward. “Shite.”

They continued driving in silence, only Dom was humming to the soft music pouring from the speakers.

The younger man frowned when Billy suddenly pulled in on a bus stop. “Something is wrong, Dom,” the Scot explained and pointed out of the window. “Could you go out, please, and check on the lights?”

Dom’s eyebrows flew up. “You really want me to freeze today, eh?” he asked, clearly not happy with the idea of going out into the cold again.

Billy looked at him pleadingly, knowing that Dominic wouldn’t say no to him.

Angrily Dom glared at his best friend and pulled his hoodie further into his face as he hurried out of the car. Quickly he stumbled in front of the vehicle and back again. “Right headlight’s not working,” he pressed out between clattering teeth and turned his head slightly to look at Billy. “What now?”

The older man buried his face in his hands and groaned. “Guess we’ll have to change the bulb then. We’re too far already to drive all the way back, but there should be a petrol station not too far away from here…”

Dom nodded, relieved when the car moved right away and he didn’t have to go out to push again.

Minutes later they finally saw a warm light shining in the grey darkness of the snowstorm. “Thank god, that must be it,” Billy sighed, parking the car next to a small, shabby looking building. A little bell welcomed them when they opened the door and entered the shop.

“There!” Dom pointed at an array of light bulbs, but before they could even further look at them, a small ugly man appeared next to Billy and Dom. “We’re closed,” he growled.

Dom had to bite back a laugh, because for some odd reason the man reminded him of a toad. Maybe it was the lack of a neck, he thought, cause the man’s head seemed to be firmly attached to his hunched shoulders.

“Ah, sorry. We only need a bulb,” Billy hurried to explain. “We won’t be long.”

The walking, talking toad cocked his head a little, furrowing his eyebrows. “We’re closed,” he repeated more firmly, stepping a little closer as if he physically wanted to force the two men out of the door.

“But I already explained, we only want a…” Billy protested, stopped by the weight of Dom’s hand on his shoulder.

The toad-man grunted.

“Bills, come. We don’t need this,” Dom said in a low voice, leading his friend out of the small shop, not forgetting to cast an angry glare at the owner. The lights went out around them before they could reach the car. “Asshole!” Dom cursed, shaking his head. He thought that he could still make out the shape of the toad-man behind the window and so Dom politely waved at him with his middle-finger as he got into the Volvo.

“Aye,” Billy agreed. “I mean, it wouldn’t even have cost him a minute to sell us a new light bulb.” Sighing deeply, he started the engine. “We have a rough drive coming up. There won’t be another petrol station until we reach the motorway…”

Dom growled, still glaring back at the small shop they had just left behind. “I feel very much like shoving the old bulb up this wanker’s arse. And then I’ll blow up his fucking shop!”

Billy smiled at Dom’s little outbreak although he didn’t feel all that happy considering the circumstances.

“Ooh! Chocolate muffins!” Dom was jumping on his seat with joy, pointing at the colourful poster in front of which Billy had parked. “Look, Billy, muffins!!”

“Light bulbs!” Billy mimicked his friend’s enthusiasm. He snickered and reached out with his hands to open his door. “Help me replace the broken light bulb and you can have as many muffins as you want?”

Dom frowned and then nodded pensively, offering Billy his mitten-clad hand. “Deal.”

A few minutes later they were standing in front of the car again, trying to figure out how to exchange the bulb. Dom was leaning further down over the engine, every once in a while lifting his head to check the manual. “If I got it right,” he mumbled, “you just have to pull off this knob and the bulb will come out with it…” He handed Billy the manual and started yanking on the small piece of plastic.

“Dom, let me try,” Billy sighed after watching Dom’s efforts for a little while.

“No, no…” Dom’s body was blocking Billy’s way. “It’s coming off. I’ve got it…ouch!!” Dom’s fingers slipped off and he stumbled back, slamming his head against the opened hood of the car.

Billy was just about to rush to his friend’s aid when a male voice stopped him. “Can I help you?” the stranger asked, pointing at the still wrapped light bulb in Billy’s hand. His radiant smile was giving Dom a headache.

“Thanks,” Billy replied, stepping aside to let the man take a closer look at the unsolved problem.

The man nodded and tossed his keys and petrol cap to Dom before bending down over the engine.

Dom was glaring daggers at the stranger’s back, rubbing his aching forehead with his free hand. “I’m alright by the way,” he growled. “Nothing happened…” But neither Billy nor the other man were paying attention to him.

Billy and the other man were standing close to each other, their shoulders nearly touching. The Scot scratched his head. “This seems to be trickier than I…”

With one smooth movement the stranger had unscrewed the black knob and removed it. “Would you hold this for a sec, mate?” he asked Dom before turning back to Billy again.

Dom snorted and bit back a harsh remark and instead kicked a little stone that was lying in front of his feet.

“See?” the stranger was pointing at some part of the engine Dom couldn’t quite make out in the dim light. “Now you only have to twist here and then you can pull this one out…” He tossed Dom the old bulb without even so much as looking at him while taking the new one from Billy. His fingers were touching the Scot’s a little too long in Dom’s opinion. “Et voila!” the stranger exclaimed with a little smile that was all teeth and full lips. He cleaned his hands on the back of his jeans and shut the hood with a loud thud.

The thankful look on Billy’s face made Dom’s guts clench. He was supposed to be the one who made Billy’s features light up like that.

“May I invite you to a coffee?” Billy asked the man, stretching his lips to a broad smile. “Who knows how much longer it would’ve taken us to get this done.”

Dom snorted. He certainly hadn’t needed the help.

The stranger accepted Billy’s invitation and chivalrously opened the door for the Scot, letting it fall shut into Dom’s face as if he hadn’t even acknowledged his presence. Dom cursed, shaking his head at the obvious rudeness of the other man before he followed them inside.

“Here,” Billy carried three paper cups filled with coffee to their table and also placed a chocolate muffin in front of Dom, who frowned a little and then pushed it back to Billy.

The Scot looked a little confused. “I thought you wanted it,” he said and shrugged his shoulders.

“I changed my mind then,” Dom growled, taking a long gulp of his boiling hot, black coffee. He didn’t make a sound when he burned his tongue.

Billy didn’t show his surprise about his friend’s behaviour and simply offered the muffin to the stranger who devoured it with great appetite.

Dom felt sick, because Billy had given away his muffin. It didn’t matter that he himself has not wanted the muffin the Scot had bought him. Offering the muffin to the stranger who had been immensely rude to Dom was very close to a betrayal.

Billy and the other man were chatting. In Dom’s opinion Billy was too friendly with the stranger who hadn’t done anything Dom couldn’t have achieved in his stead. Trying to distract himself from the feeling of jealousy pooling deep inside of his stomach, Dom started playing with a tooth pick, snorting happily when the little piece of wood slipped from his fingers and flew into the coffee cup of the stranger.

“Dom!” Billy hissed, his attention being drawn to his friend again. “What’s wrong with you?”

Smiling innocently Dom shrugged, his grin broadening when he realized that the stranger hadn’t noticed there was a tooth pick in his cup and was just about to take a long gulp of coffee. Loud coughing could be heard when the stranger spat his coffee over the table, staring in shock at the little piece of wood that he had nearly swallowed.

Billy made an angry sound and grabbed fistfuls of napkins, wiping on the brown mess on the table. He tried to apologize for Dom, but the stranger only shook his head curtly, announcing that it was getting late and he had to leave.

Dom waved happily when the other man left, who was wiping angrily on his ruined shirt, and then walked whistling to the counter to buy himself a muffin. “Coming?” he asked when he was standing next to Billy again, pointing at the car that was waiting for them outside in the still raging snowstorm.

Quietly Billy watched Dom for a minute and then followed him.

Again they were driving in silence, Billy and Dom both lost in their own thoughts until Billy finally accepted the impossibility of driving any further and stopped the car at the side of the road.

Dom lifted one eyebrow in question, the gesture itself being not very friendly.

“We’ll have to spend the night here,” Billy explained, trying to keep his voice a cheerful as possible. “There is no way we get through his storm.” He opened his safety belt and made an effort to climb on the back seat, his fist hitting against Dom’s nose when the younger man had just turned his head to see what the Scot was doing.

“Ouch!” Dom shouted, feeling his lips form a pout when he brought up his fingers to examine his hurting nose.

“Sorry!” Billy called from behind, already having reached the trunk of the Volvo. With a few swift movements of his hands he had folded back the back seats and had enlarged to a more comfortable size. Billy crawled behind Dom’s seat, tapping his friend on his shoulder. “You should come here, too,” he told Dom. “There’s enough room for the both of us to lie down and sleep.”

For a split second Dom contemplated staying in the front, but then he realized that sleeping on the passenger seat would be hell on his back an with a theatrical sigh he let Billy help him climb into the back of the car. “Thanks,” Dom mumbled and carefully lay down, pulling the collar of his cloak into his face.

Billy unfolded the blanket he kept stored in the back of the car and offered Dom one corner of it. “Sorry, I only have one,” he apologized and shrugged. “Couldn’t know I’d get stranded with a mate.”

Dom didn’t reply and instead turned around immediately, lying down as far away from Billy as the limited space of the trunk allowed him.

Billy tried to cover his confusion with a sigh and lay down himself, his eyes never leaving his friend. He felt Dom cringe against his body when he moved a little closer. “…and it’s not a huge blanket either…” he mumbled as if to himself, trying to keep as much space as possible between himself and Dom.

Dom wasn’t sleeping, Billy knew it with certainty as he felt the tense muscles beneath him press themselves against the side of the car. A deep sigh escaped Billy’s lips before he started to speak. “Will you now finally tell me what’s wrong?” he asked gently, still lying back to back with Dom.

“Nothing’s wrong,” Dom replied after a moment of heavy silence, but his voice was sounding harder than usually.

Billy snorted. “And for no reason at all you’re not speaking to me? Dammit, Dom, you’re acting as if I have some really nasty disease!”

Dom didn’t answer.

Angrily Billy turned around till he was facing Dominic’s back. He ignored the other man’s obvious discomfort as he wrapped his arms around Dom’s unwilling body.

Dom as nearly lying atop of Billy after rolling around. “Can’t you just leave me alone for a while?” he asked in a tired voice. His grey eyes were clouded with something Billy couldn’t quite make out in the dark.

“Obviously I can’t,” Billy stated gruffly, his voice softening when he continued to speak. “It’s just that I don’t understand. Normally we’re inseparable, but now you can’t stand spending the night with me in the same room…car?” Billy frowned.

A sigh that made Billy shiver broke from Dom’s lips. “Do you really have to ask?”

The question made Billy think he really ought to know. He searched Dom’s face for a clue, but he couldn’t find anything. “Tell me,” he pleaded, experiencing Dom’s weight as comforting against him.

Dom shook his head and locked Billy out by simply closing his eyes. “No…”

“Dom…” Billy lifted his hand in a gesture mirroring his feeling of helplessness and touched his friend’s elbow. “Whatever it is, you can tell me.”

“I’m scared…scared of what might happen if I open my mouth and tell you,” Dom whispered so quietly that Billy could barely make out his words.

“Ah,” the Scot nodded. “Well, I’m scared as well. There’s something between us and I can nearly reach out my hand to touch it. I don’t know what it is, but you think it’s important.” Billy took a deep breath and continued to speak. “Tell me, Dom, cause I can’t stand the thought of something separating us.”

Dom’s eyes fluttered open again. “But what if I try to stop the cleft from becoming bigger?” Dom interjected. “Bill, I’ve already been standing on the other side for quite some time now. I tried to ignore it, but I can’t go on like this.”

Suddenly Billy felt cold. “How can you know on which side I am standing without asking me first?” he wanted to know. A tiny spark of hope came to life in Billy’s chest and he couldn’t help, but cling to it.

Dom snorted, his breath rushing over Billy’s face in a rush. “I got my answer today, thank you very much,” he growled and tried to move away again. “It’s alright, Billy, really. I’ve accepted the place I am going to have in your life.”

Billy shook his head in disbelief and sat up a little, feeling as if the limited space of the trunk was suffocating him. “How can you make this decision for me?” Billy wanted to know, surprised how hard his voice sounded. He slapped Dom’s shoulder when the other man didn’t reply.

“Fuck, Billy, let it be!” Dom shouted angrily, shoving his friend back. “I’m cold and I want to sleep.” He yanked the blanket from Billy and wrapped it tighter around his shoulders.

Billy stared down at Dom, his mouth slacking open and then closing again on its own accord. “But…” he cleared his throat. “You could at least explain,” Billy hissed. “You owe me that.”

“I don’t owe you anything,” Dom mumbled into the sleeve of his coat on which he had propped his face. He didn’t want this discussion with Billy. Maybe if he closed his eyes for long enough the other man would let him be?

“Dom.” Billy was pulling on his friend’s elbow. “Dom!” Billy felt the heat of anger rise in his cheeks when he grabbed Dom by his shoulder and forcibly turned him around. It really wasn’t his fault when the other one refused to talk to him. He gasped. In all the time he knew Dom Billy had never seen the other man look so…furious? Desperate?

Dom was just staring back at Billy, his grey eyes hard and cold as steel. Then he pulled a mitten off his hand and threw it directly at Billy’s face as he didn’t know what else to do.

Billy blinked in surprise. Of course Dom’s little attack hadn’t hurt him, but it didn’t matter cause right now Billy just wanted to knock some sense into his friend. He lifted his hand, ready to slap Dom, but cold fingers stopped him, closing around his wrist. The anger had drained from Dom’s eyes, leaving only the naked desperation that seemed to have carved itself into Dom’s features.

Or maybe not, Billy thought when the moment vanished as quickly as it had come.

“Fuck you!” Dom hissed and moved forward, but Billy was faster and suddenly Dom found himself lying flat on his back with his arm trapped under his body. Billy was pinning the other man down with his weight, trying to keep Dom from fighting too hard.

“Fucking hell, Billy, stop it! Now!”

Pain and blind desire shot through Billy and he launched forward, surprised when he suddenly felt Dom’s mouth under his. Billy moaned against Dom’s soft lips, his hands blindly fisting Dom’s lanky hair out of fear that the other man would want to pull away before he, Billy, was ready. And at the rate this was going Billy would never be ready to let Dom go again, though. He found the feeling of Dom against his lips strangely addicting.

Dom made a desperate little sound in the back of his throat when he finally was able to free his arm and his fingers closed themselves around Billy’s arm as if to push his friend away. Yet no thought of letting Billy go entered his mind as he desperately clung to the other man’s lips, licking and biting and doing all the other obscene little things he had ever dreamed of. He tried to memorize every tiny fragment of emotion for lonely nights to come, storing them away in a drawer hidden away safely in his brain that he had secretly labelled Billy.

Billy tasted blood and for a split second his eyes flew open in alarm, but then there were Dom’s arms pulling him down again into their open-mouthed, violent kiss. The Scot’s whole body was trembling and his knees gave in, making him sink down over Dom until their bodies were touching from head to toe. More, he needed more….he had to breathe!

Dom whimpered when Billy finally pulled away. The other man sat up so he was straddling Dom, catching the younger man in surprise when he started yanking on the front of Dom’s jacket, a triumphant sound breaking from Billy’s lips when the buttons finally popped open, giving him a better access to Dom. With a sly grin Billy reached up to unzip his own jacket and then lay down again, surprised by the heat radiating of Dom.

Gasping Dom pulled Billy’s mouth down to his, feeling the overwhelming need to taste the other man again. Suddenly he felt a wave of terrible sickness wash over him and he turned his head away, Billy’s lips that had aimed for Dom’s mouth now met the younger man’s ear. Billy didn’t want this, him, Dom reminded himself and tried to sit up a little.

“Dommeh?” Billy’s lips were bruised and his obvious arousal had given his voice a new layer that made Dom’s blood rush south with a speed that made him dizzy. “What’s wrong, Dommeh?” Billy’s small hands reached out to gently cup Dom’s face.

He felt like crying. Everything Dom had wished for was being offered to him on a silver tray, but…he couldn’t take it, not like this. “I can’t,” Dom whispered, hoping that Billy couldn’t see the tears that threatened to spill from his eyes in the dark. “Billy, please, you don’t really want this.”

The urge to hit Dom was quite strong, but instead Billy laughed, laughed until his throat was hurting and he knew that he was scaring Dominic. He was still straddling Dom and so he thrust his hips a little, making sure that their arousals met through the soft material of their jeans. Dom bit back a whimpered moan. “This,” Billy thrust his hips again. “This is for you.”

“No…” Dom breathed and he shook his head, his eyes still closed.

But Billy didn’t seem to be listening. His hands were busy fumbling on Dom’s belt.

Dom’s face paled. “What the fuck do you think you are doing?!” he screeched in a totally unmanly and embarrassing way and again tried to fight the other man, but Billy was fast and his ice-cold hand was already in Dom’s pants and… “Fuck, Billy, your hand’s fucking COLD!” Dom tried to move away, but then again Billy’s hand was warming quickly and whatever it was he was doing to Dom’s cock, it felt more than nice. “Fuck,” Dom sobbed, relaxing under the other man’s touch.

Billy grinned wolfishly. His free hand flew to his own crotch, squeezing the straining bulge there. Quickly he had unbuttoned the fly of his jeans before moving on to repeat the action on Dom’s jeans, yanking them down before Dom could even so much as protest.

Cold air hit Dom’s naked skin and he gasped in shock. This was going way too fast, he thought, but then Billy was above him again, suffocating all reason with his clever tongue and lips and ohmygod! there was Billy’s cock rubbing against Dom’s and this time there was no protecting underwear separating them.

Billy drew in breath sharply, his green eyes fixed on Dom who looked completely undone with his bruised and quivering lips. Quick, he had to be quick before Dom made up his mind again.

Good…it was feeling so good… Dom frowned when suddenly his knees were forced further apart and he felt searching wet fingers between his legs. “Whoa, Billy! Who said that I was going to…” His eyes flew open and he didn’t dare to move when the fingers found their goal and gently, but steadily pushed forward. Dammit, but Billy really was good at everything he was doing.

Dom tried to look into Billy’s eyes. “I don’t…I mean…not usually…” He turned his head away. Looking at Billy while the other man’s fingers were inside him, breaching him open, was definitely no good idea. Despite the coldness inside of the car sweat broke out on Dom’s forehead. “Billeh, dammit, …have you stopped talking to me now or what?” Dom panted between moans. He let his head fall back on the rough underground with a thud. Dammit, dammit! Billy really should come with an international warning label!

“Shhh…” Billy cooed and shut Dom’s mouth with a kiss.

Dom felt anger spark deep inside of him. Billy wasn’t listening, he didn’t WANT to…oh, what was that? …being penetrated from both ends by Billy’s fingers and tongue was nice… But it didn’t matter cause Dom did NOT want to… The fingers were gone. Why were the fingers gone…? Oh, that’s why.

When Billy finally pushed forward, slowly sinking his cock into Dom the younger man wanted to scream with frustration. He wanted to kick, to bite Billy, but in the end he simply held his breath. It didn’t feel good, it certainly didn’t feel the way Dom had imagined sex with Billy to be like and he really had spent quite some time speculating about it. It hurtlikeabitch and tears were stinging in Dom’s eyes when he was breached by something bigger than the tight channel Billy was invading.

Billy felt Dom’s muscles clench around him and he saw that Dom’s eyes were narrowing to slits and so he wasn’t surprised when he felt the first of many hard blows rain down on the padded back of his jacket in the rhythm of his thrusts. He grunted, knowing that despite the padding his shoulders would be black and blue the next morning, but it didn’t matter. Billy didn’t even try to stop Dom. If this was the prize he had to pay for finally being with Dom, he was more than happy to endure it.

Again Dom tasted coppery blood on his lips and he swallowed, trying to relax a little. Actually he didn’t mind Billy’s roughness, he admitted to himself. How could something as terrible as pain feel this good? Dom took in breath deeply and then let out a shivering moan of pleasure, his hands delving under Billy’s jacket and holding the other man tight for fear that he, Dom, might break apart.

Billy’s lips stretched to a grimaced smile and he cocked his head to kiss Dom’s throat, pausing when he noticed that Dom’s shoulders were shaken by sobs. He opened his mouth to say something, but in the same moment Dom arched against him, taking away all doubt. “Don’t you dare stop now,” Dom growled a little gruffly, not even trying to hide his tears. “Just ignore my little emotional outburst here.”

Leaning his forehead against Dom’s, Billy laughed shakily and then planted a soft kiss on the other man’s lips. “Idiot,” he whispered in a warm voice, before starting to move his hips again, slowly thrusting in and out of Dom.

The younger man’s lips twitched, forming a perfect o when Billy repeatedly hit something deep inside him and Dom’s arms tightened around Billy, pulling the other man even closer. Again their lips met and this time the kiss lacked the violence, but not the strong need. Dom was drinking kisses from Billy’s lips like a man dying of thirst. The need for air seemed unimportant and Dom arched against his friend, now finally able to give himself to the Scot.

Billy could feel that Dom had finally stopped fighting, the other man’s vice-like grip on him had turned into a passionate embrace. Dom’s body trembled under him and a surprised grunt broke from Billy’s lips.

Dom groaned and let his hands travel down under Billy’s jacket until he reached the Scot’s thrusting hips. “God, Billy…. Fuck…” It was as if his body started to move on its own accord, meeting each of Billy’s frenzied thrusts and before Dom could make another sound he was already coming, his body clenching around Billy as sticky warmth erupted between them.

Billy was positive that the sight of Dom coming under him was the most beautiful thing he had seen so far. Warmth spread through his body as he sped up the movements of his hips and thrusted into the clenching heat of Dom’s body one more time before he, too, spent himself, calling the other man’s name.

For a little while they were just lying trembling in the darkness of the car, their breathing the only sound that filled the emptiness. Then Billy opened his eyes and looked down on Dom, unable to stop the giggle that was rising up his throat. Dom frowned a little and then helplessly joined into his friend’s laughter.

Billy shook his head. “Wow. This was surely…surprising,” he finally said.

Dom snorted. “Yeah. I still cannot quite believe that you just fucked me.” He shifted carefully under Billy’s weight, only too conscious of the sticky evidence of their lovemaking between them. For a split second Dom’s eyes clouded and Billy’s heart made a fearful jump, but then the younger man lifted his head to kiss Billy gently. “I think I’m going to cry now though,” he announced, but his eyes remained dry.

Billy smiled shakily, realizing that despite what had just happened they were still BillyandDom. Carefully Billy rolled off his friend – lover? –, the little whimper Dom made at that not going unnoticed. Smiling Billy looked out of the window. “The storm has stopped. I think we can give it a risk and drive home now…”

Dom made a little noise that didn’t sound too happy.

Billy laughed, reaching out his hand to lovely brush back Dom’s lanky hair. “Just think of hot baths and clean clothes and a warm soft bed with enough room in it for the two of us…” His grin widened. “And I think there are still some of the muffins I bought yesterday…”

“Mmmh, muffins,” Dom moaned, immediately starting to adjust his sticky clothes. “What are you waiting for?” he called enthusiastically, already climbing on the front seat again.

Billy smiled when once again Dom’s high-pitched singing filled the dark cabin of the car.
