Thranduil heard from his guards how his princeling dealing without him, and that concerned him.
His elfling as it seemed eager to be with him than the guards who watch him from getting hurt.
Thranduil figures that he needs to spend more time with his ion.
King Thranduil glanced over his elfling who ran over, wanted to feel and see everything.
Thranduil noticed as he saw how Legolas stopped by the edge of the river.
“Ion?” Thranduil asked as he knelt beside his elfling.
Princeling Legolas moved his hand, as he pointed over the river, and asked in his soft and sweet voice, “Why did the fish not going?”
Thranduil only stared over his son, not knowing what he should answer.
“Go fish!” Legolas ordered over the fish.
Though the fish was still in his place, staring over the princeling, and nothing been said.
“Ada, tell him to go.” Princeling Legolas muttered over his Adar.
“I cannot order to him to go.” Thranduil softly said over his ion, and then he added, “It lives in the river.”
Thranduil then noticed his elfling getting slowly inside the river, and he could felt waves of dread filled his body, “Ion, what are you doing? Get away from the river…” and then he hurried over his elfling held him, not wanting him to fall into the river.
“I want to be in the river, to… to…”
“Swim?” Thranduil asked as he got himself ready to be inside the river, and then he asked his elfling, “Do you want me to show you how, my sweet elfling?”
Legolas nodded at him, and then he get ready himself and get inside the river.
He shivered at first, as the river water was too cold, as it seemed.
“Is it cold to you ion?” Thranduil asked with concerned, not wanted his ion to freeze in the river.
Legolas shaken nodded over his Adar.
Thranduil caught him and hugged him in the river, and then he sighed in relief.
“Ion? Are you all right?” Thranduil asked as he rubbed Legolas’s golden hair.
“I am Adar,” Legolas looked over his Adar as he answered and then he continued, “Saes show me how to swim, I want to join the fishes, I want to be swim with them.”
“Do the same as I do, and soon you will be swim along with the fishes or if you wish with your Adar.” Thranduil guided his elfling.
Thranduil watched his elfling as he swam; Thranduil could felt his breath take away as princeling Legolas insists to swim all by himself.
Princeling Legolas stared over the same fish that first stared over him before he got inside the river, he whispered at him, “Hannon-le, mellon-nin.”
Thranduil heard every word that his elfling said, though he simply smiled, and thought, ‘If my elfling is happy there is no happy Adar than me, just to see him like this.’
“Ada…” Legolas called.
Thranduil swam over his elfling, “What is it?”
“Tell the fish to come back, he swam away…” Legolas pleaded over his Adar.
The End? Or is it?
