"The Wood-Elves are a rustic people," Elrond explained to his twin sons. "Dangerous in their mysterious nature, but far weaker to us in comparison."

"So why the worry?" Elladan asked, bored from the lecture already.

Elrond sighed, "Because we know nothing more than that. I want you both to be careful. And keep an eye on Estel, he's going with you."

"Estel is old enough to take care of himself, Adar. He's been the Dunedain chieftan for years now."

"Just the same," Elrond said, glancing at Elrohir. "I want you to keep an eye on him."

Elladan stood from where he had been lounging in one of the larger chairs in his father's study. "Why are we even going? Let them keep to themselves, and let us keep to our own."

"I just need you to look in on who these Elves really are. They live in a land of darkness and do not leave. They have no Ring to protect them, yet even Galadriel cannot see through the magic surrounding them."

"Then how do you expect us to reach them?"

"Take the path."

The twins looked at each other then return the amused gaze of their father. Both shook their heads before leaving the room to find their adopted brother.

A piece of crap! I'm so proud of myself. *note extreme drepressed sarcasm* Anyway. I'm bored, and this popped into mind. I may, or may not continue. It's debatable.
