Clover: First Leaf

Billy wandered into the new café in town, The Black Rose, and sat down at the bar. He listened to the piano playing from the small stage at the center of the room. He closed his eyes and rolled the kinks out of his neck.
“So…beautiful…” He thought aloud, relaxing to the flowing melody.
“Yeah, it is isn’t it?” The bartender agreed with a dull American accent.
He opened his eyes to see a tall thinly built woman with long straight blond hair trailing down her back. Her blue eyes smiled at him. “What’ll it be?”
He stared up to her height and returned the smile. “Dry malt liquor, if you have it.”
“Right away, sir.” She said, disappearing behind the counter.
He watched her pour with great amazement as she twirled the bottle and let the liquids dance in the glass.
“So, does this musician play here often?” He asked.
She chuckled a little. “Yes, everyday from 2:00 until 3:00, when there’s hardly anyone here at all.” She placed the glass in front of him on the bar. “Your drink, sir.”
He reached into his wallet and paid her with a good tip, then turned around to lean on the bar and listen to the music. Billy watched the musician play as her small fingers skillfully move over the black and white keys.
Her long dark curly hair was pulled up and cascaded over her fine shoulders, neck and back line. She was somewhat pale with dark eyes and thick lashes. She was thin, but not nearly as thin as the tall lanky bartender. She was built with small delicate features, and she wore a white dress with thin straps and a low front that hugged close to her petite chest framing her body and letting out into long elegant ruffles. Around her neck small painted vines twirled about, amidst them was a tiny four-leaved clover painted with the outmost care.
He smiled to himself as he finished his drink. After the recital was over he left.

Billy made it a habit to have a late lunch hour at 2:00 everyday at The Black Rose. Soon the staff had even started leaving a vacant table open for him in the corner where he wouldn’t be spotted by any outgoing fans. The mystery woman always played an enchanting tune that was sad yet so beautiful, then at precisely 3:00 it would end and she would quietly exit without even a word.
It was a Tuesday that Billy decided to make his move, right at three the recital stopped and she made her way to the back door. Billy had chosen the table nearest to the door and as she approached he stood up, blocking her from the door.
“Ah, em, hullo.” He stammered out, not expecting to get so far.
She starred up at him for a moment.
“Hello” she said in a melancholy tone.
‘American too.’ He thought. “I was just wondering…what’s your name?”
She looked at him perplexed for a moment. “Guess.”
He raised his eyebrows in confusion, then it slowly sank in. He looked her up and down briefly for any clues.
“Clover?” He asked, staring at the painted clover on her upper chest.
She laughed. “A four leaved clover?”
“You’re just as rare and beautiful.” Billy said, staring down into her dark eyes.
She draws her eyes away from his, blushing. “You should run away, before you’re caught by your emotions... If you’ll excuse me…”
She moved past him and he watched her go fondly.

The following day, as she finished her recital, Billy approached her again. “Hello again.”
She turns to face him. “Oh, hello.”
“What are you doing tomorrow at precisely 3:00?”
She shook her head and smiled sadly. “Run away, before it’s too late.”
He persistently followed her as she walks through the restaurant. “What about the day after? This weekend?”
She stopped and looked at him. “You don’t want to fall in love with me!”
“It’s too late for that! You’re a mystery to me and I want to know you! Everything about you! I want to know why you won’t let me get close to you!” Billy cried out at her.
She looked up at him suspiciously. “You want to know, do you? Fine, I’ll meet you tomorrow. Where?”
He smiled thankfully. “In front of the art museum at 3:30.”
“Alright, 3:30 it is then.” She went to move past him.
“Wait, what do I call you?”
She stopped and thought a moment. “Rare and mysterious… like a clover. I like it.”
She left and Billy smiled victoriously.

Billy waited outside the art museum; he checked his watch: 3:25. ‘What am I doing? She probably won’t show up… no. She’ll be here.
“Hello.” Billy was startled by the voice at first then realized it was her.
“Clover! Don’t do that.” He heaved out.
“That reminds me, you never introduced yourself.”
Billy looked at her a moment to see if she joking or not. Maybe she didn’t watch movies… “Billy, just call me Billy.”
“Ok, Billy. Are we going inside?”
“Huh…? Oh! Aye, let’s!” Billy caught himself from staring at her.

They stand in front of paintings and statues, and took turns playing question and answer. Billy discovered that after high school in America she had received an offer to study her piano skills in Tokyo’s top music school. Afterwards, she followed a symphonic tour then met up with her friends in the UK who owned the restaurant. She liked to read more than she liked movies and her favorite actor was Alan Rickman, and she also liked to cook. There was an uncanny charm about her. He liked it.
Later that evening Billy brought her to a nice place to eat, though he could never recall the name…

They walked the streets closing in on his apartment, he wanted desperately to take her home and spend the night with her in his arms, but wouldn’t force her into it.
“Would you like to see my apartment?” He asked invitingly.
She looked up at him a bit worried.
“You don’t have to if you don’t want to.”
She smiled sweetly. “I’d love to.”

Billy opened the door and turned on the light, very clean and nice taste in light airy colors. She walked in behind him. “It’s very pleasant. I like it.”
“Have a seat, I’ll get us something to drink.” He said, disappearing into the kitchen.
He came back with a bottle of white wine and two glasses to find her sitting on the white couch looking out the window at the night city. Billy sat down next to her and sat the glasses down in front of them, pouring the freshly opened wine.
“I’ve been saving this for a special occasion.” He said quietly, leaning over her to pour.
He handed it to her and they both took a sip.
Billy grimaced a bit. “I guess I should’ve chilled it a bit first, eh?”
He looks over to Clover for her reaction, to his surprise she had finished hers and was pouring some more.
“It’s good. How old is it?”
“Oh, about ten years.” He said, shaking off the stare toward her drinking.
“You’ve waited ten years for a special occasion?” She inquired sipping out of her glass.
“Well, I’ve had special occasions, before but not like this.”
Billy’s eyes met hers; soft and warm. He placed his glass down and leaned over to her until their lips nearly met. She placed her glass aside as well and lied back with him, their tongues dancing together in a slow waltz. His hand weaved into the long dark curls of her soft hair while the other moved down her body, over her peaks and across her valleys. Her hands traveled up and down his back, adding to his contentment.
He pulled off of her for a moment to catch a breath, staring down at her.
“We should move this else where.” He whispered into her ear.
Clover breathed out a chuckle. “Yes, no need to cram ourselves on this small couch.”
Billy stood up and lifted her up into his arms and traveled to his bedroom; closing the door behind him.
He set her down gently at the corner of his bed, then kneeled down and untied her small sandals leaving them at the foot of the bed. He untied his shoes as well and placed them next to hers, with the socks tucked inside the tops. Billy then brought himself up to her and kissed her again, moving them both up to the middle of the bed. Reaching their destination, Billy’s hand disappeared in her locks again while the other traveled down over her smooth legs that had closed around him where he lay. Her hands were busy carefully unbuttoning his shirt. Once it was open she moved it off his shoulders and let it slide off of him, he tossed it away and rolled over onto his back bringing her atop him. His hands momentarily left the warmth from under her dress and slipped it up over her head and let it flutter off over the side.
Again he rolled back into their previous position with him on top. Now her fingers were working the button and zipper to his trousers and pulling them down. Their lips parted as he removed his pants and tossed them with his shirt. Billy returned to her swollen lips and reached over her, grabbing the sheets, and pulling them down until they were at their knees. His hands skimmed over her legs and buttocks and moved up her back to the clasp of her laced bra. With a snap it followed the trail of her dress over the bed’s side. Clover blushed as her milky breasts were now revealed. Billy’s mouth traveled down her soft neck and found her small rose nipples, with one hand her cupped her other breast, kneading it gently, while the other moved her laced remaining undergarment down her legs and then tossed it with her other clothes. Clover moaned and let out a cracked cry of passion. She moved her hands down Billy’s sides toward his boxers, but he stopped her and placed them under the pillow above her head.
“Let this night be my night to love you.” He whispered into her ear, tugging on her lobe.
“Al-alright…” She heaved, her breathing was now heavy.
Billy returned to her breasts, this time catching the other nipple in his mouth. His free hand moved down her, letting his fingers dance across her flesh until he came to her sex. As he moved slowly downward he could hear her cry out hoarsely and try to move away from his teasing fingers. He brought his fingers over her folds and massaged her. He felt her interior, she was warm and wet. Billy moved off of her breasts and kissed his way down her abdomen, lingering at her navel a moment then continuing. He stopped a moment outside of her. Clover was dizzy already and just lay back breathing with her eyes closed. His tongue moved into her and she leapt back with wide eyes breathing harder than before.
“Wha-what are you going to do?!”
Billy chuckled a little, putting her hands back under the pillow and moving her back down to him. “Just relax, love, I wouldn’t hurt you on purpose.”
She stared at him with large eyes and he stared back at her from where he rested on her lower belly.
“Don’t you trust me?” Billy asked with soft green eyes.
She sighed heavily and let her legs fall limp to him as she lay back with her eyes closed.
Her passion grew more and more intense as Billy explored her velvet warmth, and her moans and cries of pleasure only fueled his own fire. Finally he moved away from her lower proportions and climbed back up her length. He lay over her kissing her neck and rolled onto his back, holding her to him tightly. She pushed away from his tight hold and began kissing her way down his chest, lingering at his own nipples to hear him moan in pleasure. She began to move down his stomach.
“What are you doing down the… oh…” He answered himself as she found his manhood with her tongue.
He laced his fingers through her hair as she brought her lips over his shaft and caressed him with her tongue, going down his length then back up until he was almost free from her then back down again. Billy moaned deeply and called out his pleasure.
He stopped her before she got an unexpected taste down her throat. Billy moved her onto her back again and positioned himself atop of her, holding her grasping her waist tenderly. He kissed her softly, letting their tastes mix, then in a swift force plunged inside of her, making her cry out. They parted lips as he thrust into her, both of their blissful cries and moans calling to each other. She was tight around him, very tight he thought to himself.
Soon they had reached their peaks together and Billy slid out of her, as he did he noticed a very small trail of blood from her. He held her close as she caught her breath.
“Why didn’t you tell me, love?” He asked, kissing her ear.
“I don’t know, a twenty seven year old virgin? I didn’t there were others, except for nuns of coarse…” She tried to smile through her heavy breathing.
He continued to carefully kiss under her earlobe. “I would’ve been gentler with you if I had known. Sorry love, I didn’t want to hurt you.”
“I know, but it was magnificent all the same.”
Billy wrapped his arms around her, bringing her close to him, and breathed in the scent of her hair deeply. Clover nudged against his chest and found a warm spot at his neck.
“Billy…my name is Riley…Riley Maden…”
“Thank you Riley…my four-leaved Clover…”
