"Alone again," Viggo thought silently while looking past the kitchen bar and directing his focus through the big glass sliding door. There were more than 20 people outside in his backyard. Each person was engaged in various conversations, with smiling faces shining in the fading sun light. Viggo's gaze flicked from one person to another while his thoughts drifted to what his original intentions had been.

Viggo hadn't meant for his cookout to swell to such a large number of people, however, he had learned since becoming part of the movie crew that what one wanted and what one got were sometimes two different things. Case in point, Viggo had originally intended to have a small gathering for the fellowship members only. But, as word of mouth spread around the set about Viggo's 'party' more people showed up. Hence, now Viggo's backyard was stuffed to capacity.

Viggo had planned a cookout with grilled steaks, hot dogs, hamburgers, and for the vegetarian elf, orlando, Viggo had prepared his own special receipe of mixed veggies, tossed salad, and Angel Hair Postes. Unfortunately, Viggo's plans had went south.

As the smell of smoking food hung heavy in the air, Viggo began to feel sick to his stomach, but he managed to hold himself together and not panic. "Everything's fine, just relax, nothing is wrong and everyone seems to be having a good time," Viggo thought quietly.

Viggo sighed heavily, got out of his seat, and moved to the stove. He reached for a long-handle piercing fork on the countertop. Viggo flipped over one of the steaks. He stared down at the meat with his azure gaze
contemplating the brown marks made by the grill. Viggo was just about to
lose himself in the artistic concept of how dead cow skin looked after being cooked, when a lightly accented voice snapped him out of his musing.

"Whatcha doing?"
