My body is weary, my heart is slowing…..I can feel it. I lay myself down on our bed, waiting….

I see the door flung open, Elrond standing before me. Tears in his eyes as he sees the way I lay upon the blood soaked sheets, dropping to his knees as he realizes there is nothing he can do.


“Why?” He demands as his tears spill down his face.

“Because I Can't live without him…..” I whisper quietly, my breathing already slowing as my life slips away with my blood.

It will not be long now Meleth…My body is growing cold as my heart struggles to keep going…..I will join you soon. I don’t fight it….I feel myself slip from my body as I draw my last breath…..
