Pairings : Erestor/Elrond, Elladan/Legolas, Elrohir/Glorfindel; Haldir/Melpomean
Summary : Elrond manages to turn himself into a large cat to escape the orcs, but cannot change back. The devastated twins both deal with it differently and Elladan gets abducted, forcing his twin to slowly fade. In this mess Haldir arrives as a courier.

I got the idea for this time-travelling thing from a challenge I read somewhere and although I didn’t do the challenge it did allow me to do this tale, that I could not quite get right. I wanted to change an elf into something else, but didn’t know how yet, till I read the challenge where it was figured that Elrond inherited his mother’s gift. So thank you, challenger.
