Eyes open sleepily.
“Bills? Watchadoin?”
Giggle.
“Billy?”
“Huh? Oh, Dom, did Ah wake ye up?”
“No, I was just trying to sleep!”, comes the annoyed answer.
“Sorry, but it’s just so funny! Ye never told meh that US comedies are so much fun.””
“What is it you’re waaa….?” Yawn. “..tching?”
“8 simple rules.”
“What? You’re kiddin’ me?”
“No. Ye don’t like it?” Sounding surprised.
“Nope. Not at all.” Turns away. “Enjoy your show. I have to get up early tomorrow. G’night.”
“Geek.”
Giggle.
Silent laugh.
“Shut it, Bills!”
Very loud, although really hard tried suppressing, snort.
“I’ve warned you!”
A pillow hits Billy’s face.
Throws pillow back. “Ye’re such a spoilsport, ye know that?”
Punches pillow and lies his head down on it. “No, I’m not. Just sticking to my own 8 simple rules.”
Lifts one eyebrow. “Which would be?”
Sits up. “Well, let’s see: Trying to get some sleep, trying to get some sleep aaaand trying to get some sleep, trying to get some sleep, oh and of course, trying to get some sleep, trying to get some sleep, shagging you and last but least: Trying to get some sleep!”
Silence.
Cheeky grin, fresh eyes. “Ah think Ah like rule number 7 best.”
“You wish. You’re such a spoilsport, you know that?” Turns away. Grins quietly.
“Geek.” Silent giggle.
