My Desire
My Desire:
Characters and Disclaimer
Characters:
• Jaxon McAllistair: Her forgotten heritage will guide her on her path of destiny. Will she gain the strength to accept it?
• Haldir ó Lorien: His war-hardened, world-weary heart is the only thing keeping him from succumbing to the call of the sea. When chance leads him to a woman he can’t forget, will he being willing to do whatever it takes to keep her as his, and his alone?
• Loren Terrister: She follows her friend onto the path of the unknown, not realizing that she too, is destined to be in the land of Middle Earth.
• Aragorn, son of Arathorn: His heart broken by the chosen passing of his love, he vows to never rest until all evil in his land is gone. He spurns all females in his bitterness, not realizing the potential to heal in the arms of another. Will he recognize his hearts’ desire before it is too late?
Races Involved:
• Men: Reside in the nations of Rohan and Gondor. Very susceptible to the magic of others.
• Madeira: A forgotten, mythical race of Middle Earth. Each Madeiran is bonded with an “animal” that can change at will. (are mostly mortal, but with strong forces of magic and nature)
• Elves: Residing in Lothlorien, Rivendell and Mirkwood. Call the Eldar because they were the first race to reside in Middle Earth. (Immortal, but can die)
• Hobbits: Reside in the Shire. Fun-loving, adventure-hating (for the most part) creatures. They are big eaters. (Duh)
• Orcs and Uruk-Hai: Creature s of shado0w, once elves that were tortured hideously. Uruk-Hai a cross between orcs and goblins. They are much stronger than orcs and can withstand sunlight.
• Dwarves: hardy creatures who are great craftsmen of Middle Earth, and are the archenemies of elves. Reside in caves and underground tunnels. (Darrowdelf, Lonely Mountain)
• Wizards: Immortal creatures that above all value honor and courage.
***Disclaimer: All races, places and characters involved belong to JRR Tolkien, with the exception of the Madeira, Jaxon, and Loren, and any other characters not mentioned in the books. Mostly I just make up names unless they are Tolkiens’. I am not in any way, shape, or form profiting from this story. I’m just here to have fun. This will be the only disclaimer in the story, so don’t forget this and get me booted off AFF.Net!!!***
A/N: Any mistakes I make in the names and histories of the book, please excuse. I realize that there are many Tolkien purists out in the world of fan fiction, but if you’re not into the Tenth Walker, Character Romance, and Alternate Universe stuff, leave NOW! My story contains all of these factors and I know that I will make mistakes concerning the actual Middle Earth Facts. While I’m at it, if anyone would like to help me with the elvish speaking I could really use it. I don’t know any elvish at all, so please help if you would like. I am all for constructive criticism, but in no manner will I accept flames. Hopefully, with your help, this will turn out to be an awesome story.
Happy Reading!
