Porn and Chocolate

PORN AND CHOCOLATE

A cool evening shadowed in silence, stars littering the darkened skies over Wellington... how could anyone ask for anything more than this...

Summer was slowly beginning to fade and soon the seasons would change. Many months had passed since Dom first arrived in New Zealand and now here he was, standing outside a small bar, breathing in the moist night air as the wooden spring door behind him closed shut. The scent was a welcome change from the stale, smoke filled room inside, over crowded with drunks. Dom then felt two hands grab onto his back and he watched as Elijah leaned his head down on his shoulder for a moment before wandering away towards the parking lot, stumbling over his own two feet. Dom laughed to himself, amused at his friends inability to hold his liquor. After all they had only done a few shots.

Minutes passed by while Dom stood near the bar, pushing his hands into his pockets fumbling for the car keys. Elijah was in no shape to drive, let alone walk without someone to lean on. Dom looked up from his search, keeping an eye on his unsteady mate, watching as he strode along the lot dancing about in circles with his hands outstretched. Dom shook his head. A light over the lot then began to flicker brightly, buzzing loudly with distress before burning out completely with a brilliant flash. Elijah squealed with delight, followed by the sound of girlish laughter as he fell to the pavement in a heap, landing square on his bum. Dom walked to him slowly, twirling the keys around his finger. As he came to Elijah he squatted down, looking at him with his cheeky smile. Lijah's eyes turned to Dom, slightly reddened, yet still shining with hues of blue so ethereal one would think they had died and gone to heaven in his gaze. Elijah leaned back on his elbows, his face turning playful before losing his balance and falling backwards, lying flat on the ground. Dom stood to his feet as Elijah lifted an arm, reaching out his fingers, wiggling them towards Dom trying to brush his hand. Dom smiled and took hold of his friend, lifting him to his feet. Elijah laughed as he leaned forward, falling into Dom's chest burying his face into Dom's shirt. He then wrapped his arms snuggly around Dom's waist, squeezing tightly before Dom pried him away, pushing him towards the car. Elijah walked forward looking back to Dom with a face saddened like a child scorned for stepping out of line, but his visage quickly brightened as Dom lovingly shook his head before sticking out his tongue.

Dom reached the car and opened the door for Elijah. He seemed to take the jesture in stride and slowly came around the car, stopping for a moment to do a seductive dance around a nearby light pole, ending it with a graceful fall near Dom's feet. Dom picked Elijah up, getting him steady once more, helping him inside the car. Dom drug his knuckles hard across Elijah's head, mussing his hair before shutting the car door. Elijah pressed his face to the glass grinning so wide, one would think his cheeks would crack. Dom laughed to himself, rolling his eyes. He slapped his hand hard on the window and Elijah came away from the glass wrinkling up his nose. Already Dom could tell this was going to be one long night.

As Dom began to pull away from the bar, Elijah leaned heavily in his seat, resting his head against the car window. The street was quite empty with not another car to be seen. For a few minutes Dom drove on, looking for an open mini mart, hoping to grab a bite to eat. The food at the bar was not highly appealing and the pretzels filling the bowls on the table, looked days old. Down the road a bit, the bright florescent lights from a twenty-four seven store glowed in the night and Elijah sat up quickly in his seat tugging at Dom's arm.

"In there, go now Dommie, turn in to the store!" Elijah squealed, almost jerking the steering wheel from Dom's hands. Dom shrugged Lijah off his arm passing him a disgruntled stare under his furled brow.

"Are you off your trolley?" Dom snapped pulling into the lot of the store. "Bloody hell, Lij. What were you thinking pulling on me like that?" Dom shouted throwing the car into park as he came to a stop. Elijah said nothing, sliding down into his seat trying to hide from Dom's intense stare.

"Sometimes you really cheese me off Lij." Dom replied opening the car door. "Now come on, out with ya. I would hate to think what might happen if I leave you to the car by yourself." Elijah then opened the car door, coming out as Dom slammed his door shut walking off into the store. Slowly he walked away, looking down to his feet. He had to admit, he was acting quite the arse tonight and Dom already had to do his fair share of pulling him off one too many unwelcoming laps. For a moment Elijah watched Dom through the glass doors, keeping a close eye on him as he wavered in front of the freezer box full of frozen burritos. Something then caught Elijah's eye on the shelf nearby. It was lined with video tapes of old porn movies. Elijah’s eyes shifted to the customers in the store. There were at least ten people inside. A short bit of hesitance shot through Elijah but he quickly stifled it and went to the doors opening them and screaming loudly into the store...

"I want porn and chocolate!"

The moment his lips closed Elijah could see Dom's face grow red. He could not tell if it was from anger or embarrassment but he staggered his way inside the store and pulled a video from the shelf before walking along the isles in search of chocolate. Dom then came to Elijah's side, taking him firmly by the arm.

"There are days when I want to tell you to get on your bike and buggar off mate." Dom said pulling Elijah through the store towards the counter. "What's with porn and chocolate? I thought you despised chocolate." Dom replied as Lij came to a stop taking a bottle of chocolate syrup from the shelf nearby.

"Would you like a pint of ice cream for that too?" Dom sarcastically muttered as Elijah looked over the bottle.

"Nah." Elijah said with a laugh making his way to the front of the store. "It's not for me, it's for you." Lijah remarked pressing the bottle up into Dom's face. Dom shook his head and took the bottle from Elijah's hand, followed by the movie.

"And this?"

"For me." Elijah smiled brightly rocking back and forth on his heels. Dom rolled his eyes and put the tape onto the counter along with the chocolate and his two burritos and a bottle of water. He pressed a few bills into clerks hand, telling him to keep the change while gathering his food and handing Elijah his nonsense, pushing him towards the door.

"You are daft Lij, nothing more to it." Dom said pulling the keys out of his pocket as Elijah stood near the front of the store, opening the bottle of chocolate. He turned it upside down and opened his mouth, leaning his head back as he squeezed the bottle, pouring a bit of chocolate out onto his outstretched tongue.

"Come on now." Dom yelled out to Elijah, opening the drivers side door of the car. "It's late and I want to get home." Elijah then looked to Dom as a bit of chocolate syrup ran down his chin, while he put the cap back onto the bottle. "Now Elwood!" Dom snapped pointing to the car. Quicky Elijah scurried across the lot, almost tripping as Dom leaned over the front seat, pushing the passengers door open to the car, hitting Elijah's leg.

"That hurt." Elijah whined, crawling into the car, closing the door behind him.

"Good." Dom sneered. "Maybe that will teach you not to go and get all sloshed, either that or learn to hold your liquor."

"Funny." Elijah snorted, sinking down into the seat, clutching his movie and bottle of chocolate syrup tightly to his chest. Dom unwrapped one of his burritos and took a bite, offering a bit to Elijah. He pushed his hand away, looking out the window.

"Suit yourself mate." Dom replied starting the car and putting it into reverse. "You're in no shape to drive yourself home so it looks like you'll be staying at my flat tonight Lij. You won't find much to eat there in the morning so you better eat something now." Dom said throwing the other burrito into Elijah's lap. Dom smiled as Elijah looked his way taking the burrito up into his hand.

"Go on, they're good. I get them here all the time. Might even be better with a bit of that chocolate you wanted so bad." Dom winked.

"Piss off Monaghan." Elijah replied leaning towards Dom, bumping his shoulder with his own. Dom laughed.

"No hard feelings I hope." Dom said brightly. "Just taking the piss out on ya, you know."

"Yeah, I know." Elijah muttered unwrapping the burrito and taking a bite as Dom pulled away from the store. Already Elijah's head was beginning to spin, but he felt a bit relaxed knowing he would be spending the evening at Dom's.

Nearly an hour had come to pass before Dom finally reached his place overlooking Wellington, from it’s rocky perch high above the city. As Dom came up the drive, the sound of gravel beneath the tires drew Elijah’s attention away from the sleep he was so desperatly trying to take in. Dom pulled all the way up to the front steps and put the car in park, shutting off the headlights. Dom looked towards Elijah. He was trying to hold back a yawn. Dom then pulled the keys out of the ignition and opened the car door. He got out of the car and stood in the yeard, stretching his arms high above his head. Elijah then emerged from the car, yawing once more, closing the car door before draping himself over the hood of Dom’s car.

“Oh no you don’t.” Dom replied closing his door. “Off with ya Lij!” Dom said walking to Elijah, taking a firm hold on his shirt, sliding him off the hood. “You’re not sleeping on my car.” Elijah then fell to the ground staring up at Dom with large glassy eyes as a gleaming smile filled his face.

“What am I g oing to do with you Lij?” Dom asked, holding out his hand to help Elijah up from the dew soaked grass.

“Take me home with you.” Elijah giggled as he grabbed Dom’s hand, jumping up to his feet. He fell into Dom grabbing his arms, almost knocking him back into the car.

“You’re already here you nit.” Dom replied, giving Elijah a good shove. Elijah pushed back and smiled before Dom took a hold of the front of Elijah’s shirt, pulling him across the yard and up the front steps. Dom stood on the porch, letting go of Elijah’s shirt as he unlocked the door. He then went inside, flipping on a few lights before going back outside to retrieve Elijah, still standing where he left him, staring up at the stars.

“Making a wish are ya?” Dom said with a laugh, tugging on Elijah’s arm.

“Yeah.” Elijah whispered, turning towards Dom. His bottle of chocolate syrup then fell from his hands, hitting the floor of the porch. Elijah bent down to pick it up, only to drop his movie from the other hand. Dom finally reached down, picking up the movie.

“What was it?” Dom asked, opening the front door.

“What was what?”

“Your wish, Lij. Talk about a short term memory.” Dom laughed as Elijah came through the door.

“Oh yeah.” Elijah said with a smirk. “Can’t tell you or it won’t come true.”

“Sure Lij.” Dom replied rolling his eyes.

“Yeap.” Elijah snickered. “But I was kinda wishing I had some ice cream to go with this chocolate right about now.” Lij replied, holding out the bottle. Dom then slapped him over the head with the video, before shoving it into Elijah’s chest.

“You’re hopeless, you know that don’t you?” Dom said pulling the door closed behind him and Elijah.

“Of course.” Elijah replied with a wink. Dom then gave Elijah another little shove.

“There is a spare room upstairs on the left Lij. Think you can make it up the stairs?” Dom said kicking off his shoes towards a pile of shirts near the end of the staircase.

“Funny.” Elijah sneered, making his way towards the stairs.

“I’ll be down here if you need anything.” Dom replied as Elijah made his way up the steps. “And no messing my sheets with that movie you hear!”

“Yeah, yeah, yeah.” Elijah mumbled, waving his hand back at Dom while staggering up the steps. Dom smiled and watched as Elijah finally climbed the stars before dissappearing down the hall. Dom then heard the bedroom door close andhe walked to the living room, sitting himself down on the couch to take in a bit of video game playing before turning in for bed.

* * * * * * *

Three hours had passed before Dom looked away from his game, squinting his eyes at the clock. It was nearly four in the morning. Dom took in a deep breath, biting the edge of his lip while placing the controller down on the couch. He then stood up, heading to the kitchen, returning with a cold bottle of lager and a bowl of popcorn left over from the night before. Dom put the bowl down on the table in front of him, picking a few pieces of popcorn out of the bowl, tossing them into his mouth. Just as quickly as they went in they came back out, as Dom spit the half chewed morsels into his hand. Indeed, one day of searing Australian summer heat was enough to turn popcorn into tasteless waste. Dom wiped his hand on the edge of the sofa, shaking the damp bits of popcorn from his palm. He then took a long hard swig of his lager. Slowly he drew the bottle away from his mouth, catching a few droplets of liquid along his moistened lips with his tongue. He then set the bottle down on the table, leaning back into the couch, taking the game controller up into his hands once more. Dom then felt something brush the side of his arm and he turned to see a set of toes resting against his skin.

“Bloody hell, Lij! You scared the fucking piss out of me!” Dom screamed, tossing the controller at Elijah. “How long have you been there?”

“Long enough.” Elijah smiled, his face aglow with the light from the tv.

“Damn you!” Dom snapped pushing Elijah’s feet away from his side. “Why aren’t you in bed?”

“I should be asking you the same thing.” Elijah replied, propping himself up on his right elbow, leaning over to his side. Dom glared at him, trying to probe into his mind. To get into Elijah’s thoughts and see what was stirring in his head. A half dazed stare and mischievous smile lingered on Elijah’s face as Dom mumbled under his breath, wishing he had his peaceful time alone once again. Yet, Elijah remained, laying there in a shirt that looked vaguely familiar. Dom then remembered it was one of his own. A blue and white checkered flannel shirt of his dad’s he brought with him to New Zealand from home. Underneath, Elijah’s dark grey boxers peeked out just below the edge of the shirt.

“Like the shirt?” Elijah replied, undoing the top button.

“Yeah, quite nifty.” Dom snorted, pulling on the wire to the game controller, yanking it away from Elijah. “Why are you digging through my stuff anyways?”

“I wasn’t.” Elijah protested, sitting up a bit. “I found it hanging on the back of the door in the bathroom under a towel.” Dom took in a deep breath, shaking his head as he leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees.

“That shirt ain’t clean Lij.” Dom said quietly. “I wore it about a week ago. Just forgot where I left it.” Elijah then passed Dom a sly glance, kicking his bum with his foot.

“Hey.” Dom yelped, slapping Elijah’s leg. Elijah smiled, sitting up, slowly unbuttoning the shirt.

“Now what are you doing?” Dom grumbled, scooting towards the edge of the couch, further away from Elijah.

“You don’t expect me to wear a dirty shirt, now do you?” Elijah then pulled his arms out of the sleeves, letting the shirt fall down his back, before taking it, throwing it at Dom.

“You’re still three sheets to the wind, Lij.” Dom said smiling, pulling the shirt off his head. “Why don’t you drag yourself back up those stairs and get some sleep.”

“Why?” Elijah replied lying back down on the couch, propping himself up on his arm once more. “Besides, I’m not tired Dom.”

“Can’t imagine why.” Dom snickered. “How was your movie?”

“Wouldn’t have a clue.” Elijah replied. “I either fell asleep or passed out. Don’t remember a thing after I put the tape in. Next thing I know, I was waking up while the credits were rolling.”

“Passed out sounds more like it.” Dom said starting his video game up once more. “Bet that was frustrating. Get yourself all worked up and then next thing you know you’re dead to the world.”

“You can bet it was.” Elijah sighed. “Woke up with a stiffy like you wouldn’t imagine.”

“Dang it, Lij… stuff it will ya!” Dom replied reaching his hand into the bowl of popcorn, throwing a handful at Elijah. “I don’t want to hear that, you’re breaking my concentration.”

“Figured as much.” Elijah said laughing, reaching down to the floor picking up his bottle of chocolate syrup. “You’re getting all skittish.” Elijah then opened the top of the bottle, holding it up, squeezing a bit of chocolate into his mouth.

“And why may I ask are you still carrying that bottle of syrup around with you?” Dom grumbled tossing another handful of popcorn at Elijah. Elijah waved his hand batting a few pieces away, knocking them to the floor.

“I told you, I got it for you.” Elijah smiled, pouring a dab of chocolate into his finger. He then put his finger in his mouth, licking it clean.

“Right.” Dom mumbled, watching as Elijah turned the bottle upside down once more. He squeezed another bit from the bottle catching it with his tongue. A small drop fell, landing on his bare chest. Dom’s eyes grew fixed on the spot of chocolate, watching as it slid slowly along Elijah’s pale skin.

“Whoopsie.” Elijah said with a giggle, reaching down with his finger, catching the chocolate as it slid down his chest. “Can’t let that get away.” Dom’s eyes still stayed focus, watching as Elijah drew his finger through the line of syrup, smearing it over his skin.

“You missed some Lij.” Dom said pointing to the smudge of chocolate still on Elijah’s chest. Elijah looked down, pulling his finger from his mouth to clean up the mess he left behind. Elijah ran his finger through the dab of syrup and smiled before reaching out his hand, smudging the chocolate on the tip of Dom’s nose. For a moment Dom just sat there, his eyes glaring, before a smile filled his face. He then reached his hand up to his nose to clean off the chocolate, but Elijah leaned forward pushing his hand away.

“Wait.” Elijah replied softly. He then leaned closer to Dom, touching the tip of his finger to Dom’s nose, taking up a bit of the chocolate, drawing it over Dom’s lips. Dom opened his mouth slightly, running his tongue over his lips.

“Not all that bad.” Dom grinned.

“Want some more?” Elijah whispered into Dom’s ear. Elijah then looked deep into Dom’s eyes, searching over his face, concentrating on the smile that was growing over his lips.

“Please.”

Elijah then leaned back, resting against the arm of the couch, opening the bottle of chocolate syrup up once more. He held his hand out over his chest, ready to pour a bit of syrup onto his fingers, but as he turned the bottle over and the syrup poured out, he moved his hand. Dark lines of sweetness fell over his skin, running along his flesh, shining in the light that dimly filled the room.

“That’s not what I meant Lij.” Dom said softly.

“Really?” Elijah replied with a smile. “Shame then, all this chocolate going to waste.” Elijah then pulled a finger through the syrup, sticking it in his mouth. “You don’t know what you’re missing Dommie, it’s quite tasty.” Dom turned his head, his cheeks visibly blushing.

“Ah, Dom, it’s only us. Just a bit of fun. There isn’t anyone else around for miles.” Elijah said, rubbing his foot on Dom’s arm. “Just one lick that’s all I want, then I promise I’ll let you get back to your game.”

“A bit forward now aren’t we?” Dom replied smiling. “I still say you’re drunk and you don’t have a clue what you’re saying.”

“I know perfectly well what I’m saying.”

For a moment Dom didn’t move. He just sat there, his mind in a frenzy, trying to take in everything happening in front of him. Should he just play along and hope Elijah would pass out again soon, or should he just push him off the couch and lock himself in his room, praying that Elijah wouldn’t remember a thing he did or said that evening. Dom smiled. He was feeling a bit feisty tonight and if Elijah wanted to play, he wasn’t about to let this opportunity fly out the window with the evening breeze.

“So…” Dom began leaning towards Elijah. “You said you bought this stuff just for me.”

“That’s right.” Elijah grinned.

“How sure are you that I like chocolate?”

“Pretty sure.” Elijah said quietly, dragging his finger through the chocolate syrup streaked across his chest.

“And what makes you so sure I’d like my chocolate on you?” Dom replied coming closer to Elijah.

“Just a hunch.” Elijah said with a smile as Dom crawled over top of him, holding himself up above him with his hands. He was bound determined to scare Elijah senseless, hoping that he would never try something like this again, but Elijah seemed to be enjoying himself a little bit too much as he reached up, slowly unbuttoning Dom’s shirt.

“Uh, Lij…” Dom began, grabbing a hold of Elijah’s wrist. “What are you doing?”

“Don’t want to get your shirt dirty.” Elijah replied undoing the last button, pushing Dom’s shirt down his arms. Reluctantly Dom pulled his arms out of the sleeves, letting his shirt fall to the floor. Elijah then reached up, putting his hand behind Dom’s head, bringing him closer to his face.

“Remember when I was on the porch.” Elijah whispered.

“Yeah, I remember Lij.” Dom answered, his heart racing in his chest.

“Want to know what I was really wishing for?”

“Sure…”

“This…” Elijah replied sitting up just a bit, his lips meeting with Dom’s now lightly covered in a thin veil of sweat. Dom felt as though his heart would stop. Was his mind playing tricks on him, was this nothing more than a crazy dream? He then felt Elijah’s fingers tighten, gripping his hair, drawing him down onto his chest. Dom could fell the chocolate between them, sliding across their skin as the heat grew between them. In all rational thinking Dom should have pulled away, but he couldn’t. Not because Elijah’s grip was holding him down, but because he was finding himself actually not wanting to leave his embrace. Dom breathed in deeply, almost stealing Elijah’s breath away, his fingers lingering back behind Elijah’s head. He held him, cradling him in his hand as Elijah playfully bit at his lip before pulling away.

“Love ya Dommie.” Elijah smiled, his fingers falling away from the back of Dom’s head, slowly outlining the muscles along Dom’s arms. Dom couldn’t speak; his head was swimming in a sea of disbelief. A heavy sigh fell past his lips and he looked down to Elijah, his chest still shadowed in a light covering of chocolate. Dom lightly touched his fingers to Elijah’s skin, drawing a small swirling pattern in the syrup. He smiled, letting his finger continue up Elijah’s neck, bringing a line of chocolate up over Elijah’s lips.

“Tastes just like you.” Elijah snickered, licking the chocolate off his lips. Dom smiled, leaning forward, close to Elijah’s mouth, but he pulled back, hesitant to have another go.

“I won’t bite.” Elijah said softly reaching out to Dom’s chest, running his fingers along his skin. “Just one more taste, please.” Dom then gave in, his lips finally meeting with Elijah’s once again. Elijah held Dom tightly, his fingers gripping tightly to Dom’s back. Soon they found themselves on the floor, still intertwined, lips unparting. Elijah’s hand began moving along Dom’s side reaching up over his arm taking Dom’s hand into his own. He slowly guided it down between them, placing Dom’s hand over his boxers.

“I want you to touch me there.” Elijah whispered into Dom’s ear, taking a nip at his earlobe. Dom then took hold of Elijah, his breath growing heavy as he leaned harder into Elijah’s chest, his hand now slowly moving up and down over the firmness he held within his grasp. Elijah breathed in deeply, his head falling back onto the floor as his fingers dug deep into Dom’s back. He wanted to speak but his very breath was stolen away as he felt a surge of excitement run through his body, before screaming out as he finally released the fury within. Dom fell away from Elijah, coming to rest along his side.

“So how was that?” Dom said softly running his finger along Elijah’s chest. Elijah said nothing as a smile grew upon his face.

“Better than that chocolate.” Dom replied grinning. Elijah nodded.

“Good… so what now, Lij?”

“Sleep.” Elijah mumbled reaching over Dom, pulling a cushion off the couch.

“Sleep?” Dom replied. “You want to sleep now, how typical.” Dom then grabbed the cushion away from Elijah, hitting him over the head with it.

“Exhausted.” Elijah whined, wedging the cushion under his head. Dom laughed and then sat up.

“Don’t go.” Elijah muttered grabbing Dom’s arm. “Just stay here for a bit.”

“Alright.” Dom said lying down beside Elijah. Elijah then rolled over, looking deep into Dom’s eyes.

“No regrets.” Elijah whispered.

“No regrets Lij.”

Elijah smiled and then closed his eyes, resting his arm over Dom before he too fell asleep.

* * * * * * *

Dom sat up, his heart racing, sweat pouring from his brow. The sun was shining brightly through his bedroom window as the call of birds echoed outside. Dom quickly brought his hand to his face, covering his eyes. His head ached like no tomorrow. Dom looked to the clock sitting next to the bed. It was nearly noon. Dom let his hand fall away from the sheets he was clutching tightly. He had been dreaming. Not just any normal dream, but a dream about him and Elijah. Dom shook his head and reached to the table next to him taking a drink from the glass of water sitting there. He took a long hard drink and then swung his legs over the bed, standing up stretching his arms high above his head. His mind was still focused on that dream. It seemed so real. Him and Elijah on the floor, their lips locked in a loving kiss, stepping beyond the bounds of friendship on to something more. Slowly Dom made his way out of his room, walking along the cool hardwood floor in his bare feet. His mind was holding a blank for what happened that evening. He knew he and Elijah had been to their favorite little bar in Wellington, but after that he was having a hard time recalling much of anything. Dom then found himself in the kitchen and he went to the fridge, pulling out a carton of juice. He opened it and took a drink looking out to the living room. The TV was on, the screen dark with black and white static. He then noticed what looked to be a foot, sticking out beside the couch. Slowly Dom put the carton down on the counter and made his way out into the living room, peering around the couch. Dom felt his heart skip a beat. He didn’t know if he wanted to smile or cry. There on the floor lay Elijah, a grin full on his lips wearing nothing but his boxers. One hand rested over his chest and the other lay atop a bottle of chocolate syrup on the floor. Popcorn was strewn all over the place, the cushions of the couch pulled down over Elijah. The light was still shining on the playstation sitting on the floor, the controller now trapped under Elijah’s leg. Dom laughed. It wasn’t a dream after all.
