Never Play With Electronics During Thunderstorms

Manda looked out her window, and sighed. Rain, again. She was getting quite tired of it. Oh yes, she needed it for her flowers out front, but she didn't think that praying for rain would bring quite this much.
She looked through her dvd's , and decided to watch Lord of the Rings. She hadn't seen it in awhile, so she figured that it'd be the best choice.
She hit the open button, and put the dvd in. But as she pushed it in, lightning hit the powerline, sending a jolt through her. She flew backwards, landing on the floor, and hitting her head in the process. everything around her went black.
Legolas had been just walking through the woods when he saw a flash of light through the trees in front of him. Sprinting towards it, he stopped just outside the clearing, to see what it was. And in the middle of it lay a girl, bleeding from a wound on the side of her head.
He picked her up, and ran back, making haste towards rivendell. He didn't bother looking at her, but if he did he would've noticed she was human.
