Ice Can Burn
A/N: I know this is SO dramatic, but I wanted to write something that had real heart in it. So here is the First Chapter! This is for you Max.
“You think she meant something do you!” Dominic was furious and yelling at his new lover Jesse. Why she had to make a big deal about a one night stand was a mystery to him. She turned around and glared, there were tears in her eyes. Her eyes hurt Dominic. They were pearl gray as they always were, but she was on the verge of crying. He didn’t want this. He stretched out his hand to her face then to comfort her then, he didn’t want to hurt her. That was never his intention.
She swatted at his hand then, she didn’t want to be touched, not by him. She looked as she never wanted to see him again. She was cold like ice. His words burned her like cold steel when he told her. “Your not-” she paused to wipe the forming tears, “Not worth crying over.” she whispered then turned away and continued to pack her things.
Dom was speechless. Had he hurt her that much? All the other guys had a little action on the side all the time, so why did this not surprise her? Hell, she was only a kid. Dom never thought on the after effects would be on her. “Jesse..” Dom reached out for her again and touched her arm. “Don’t ever touch me again.” her words were fast, she must have still been on the verge of crying. “I didn’t-” she cut him off then. “You didn’t what? Didn’t think?!” she still wouldn’t look at him. That was what hurt him the most.
Jesse was walking out of the bedroom, bag on her shoulder, no shoes on. Dom fallowed her. “Don’t leave me like this.” he didn’t know what was happening. Jesse stopped for a moment by the bottom of the stairs. She continued on after a deep breath til she stopped by the mini bar. “The worst thing was Dom, that you were my first love.” she set the keys down to the apartment and left.
Dom stood at the stairs still. Had he just lost her forever? Shock was still in effect as he realized that his 21 year old lover just walked out on him.
