Disclaimer: Much to my regret, neither Viggo nor Orlando belong to me. I make no assumptions about their lives or sexual preferences. Song lyrics belong to Aerosmith. No harm, no foul, got it?
A/N: This is the first in a series titled Degrees of Separation. The title comes from the number of "steps" to get from the band Aerosmith to Viggo (and thus Orlando). The inspiration for all of the stories will be taken from 14 of the 15 songs on Aerosmith's greatest hits CD "Big Ones." I won't be using "Janie's Got a Gun" for reasons too numerous to mention here.

The first in this series comes from the Aerosmith song Eat the Rich This is one where I took a couple of lines from the song and completely changed the context. After taking a close look at the lyrics, I realized I just couldn't use the same context. I can't really see either Viggo or Orlando in a Hannibal the Cannibal sort of way, even if the song is meant to be funny.

Lyrics used for inspiration

Eat The Rich

Well I woke up this morning
On the wrong side of the bed
And how I got to thinkin'
About all the things you said

And, yes, I managed a drabble. 100 words exactly. I'm so proud.

He sat on the bed, wondering how he was going to face the day. The things Orli had said to him last night. He'd never thought it would happen.

"I've met someone…"

"Who?"

"Does it matter?"

Hurt and confusion had turned into angry, bitter words. Then his Orlando had simply walked out the door.

He didn't remember going to bed; didn't remember going to sleep. How could he have slept, when his world had just collapsed?

A single tear slipped down his cheek.

"I made breakf - Viggo? What's wrong?"

Realization dawns.

"Oh, God, love. I had the most horrible dream."
