Author's Notes for story: This fic takes place mostly in Lothlorien. Some of the male elves are born with the ability to carry elflings. Yes, I know this has be done before :p Legolas is one of them, and so are Elladan and Elrohir. These male elves are treated much differently then other males, or even females. They are the most rare and most protective, if sometimes over protected elves.

This means Elrond did not let Elladan and Elrohir did not go out orc hunting to avenge their mother. Of course he didn't discourage Arwen from doing so.I am just putting the ages they would be in human terms, this is easier for me to do. Order of ages from olderst to youngest Haldir 30, Orophin 27, Elladan 23, Erohir 23, Arwen 21, Legolas 19, and Rumil 16. Yes, I made Rumil the youngest instead of Legolas.

Chapter 1
Legolas stands, facing the corner of the room, with
his long tunic tucked into his belt. His red, well
spanked bottom exposed to all who happened to enter
the room. Of course no one has, as it was Haldir`s and
his bedchamber, but he still feels embarrassed. His
husband, Haldir, just gave him a rather hard and
thorough hand spanking, and placed him there. The
elder elf told him to stay there and that he would
soon return to administer the rest of the punishment.


The young blond elf cries softly, in deep gasping
sobs, trying to get his breathing back to normal. He
doesn’t understand why Haldir is so angry with him. He
hadn’t gone that far, and as a Mirkwood elf climbing
trees was natural. He is not that delicate and doesn't
understand why Haldir is treating him like an elfling.
He also doesn't understand why Haldir has been gone so
long. He has never left in the middle of administering
punishment. He cries as he thinks about the events
earlier.

Haldir found him, sleeping in a tree, not far from
their home. Legolas had climbed into and slept in
trees since he was a mere elfling. He knew how to do
so without injuring himself.

“What do you think you are doing?” Haldir growled out
angrily, as he glared up at wife. He swiftly
dismounted his horse and moved toward him.

“I was sleeping,” Legolas replied cautiously, all the
while wondering why Haldir seemed to be mad at him,
then moved to climb down the tree

“Do not move,” Haldir demanded and began climbing up
towards Legolas.

“What, I am just coming down, Haldir,” Legolas
informed his husband has he moved again to come down.

“DO NOT MOVE!” Haldir barked out harshly, causing
Legolas to freeze where he was. Haldir was not
physically violent and would never hurt Legolas, but
Haldir was still rather loud when he got angry and
that scared the young elf

Legolas stayed put and waited for Haldir to come up to
him. A few moments later Haldir was behind him.

“We are going to go down slowly. You will move when I
tell you, and do not dare argue with me, Legolas. I am
very angry with you know,” Haldir hissed into his ear.
Legolas gasped then nodded quickly.

After a few minutes, which was a lot longer then it
would have taken Legolas to descend the tree himself,
he was on the ground, standing in front of his
husband. He looked up at Haldir and waited for him to
says something.

“You are in serious trouble, Legolas. Just wait tell I
get you home. What were you thinking?” Haldir said
angrily.

“Haldir, I was just sleeping. I was upset about
something and the tree was comforting me. You know I
like to sleep in trees?” Legolas replied defensively.

“I know you like to sleep in trees, but I told you to
stay home, and not to climb trees unless I was there,”
Haldir replied.

Legolas wanted to explain the reason he left home. He
wanted to tell Haldir about the fight he had with
Rumil, and how the younger elf had hurt him, but
Haldir was far to angry. “ I am sorry, I disobeyed
you.” he whispered instead.

“You should be. Now come along, we are going home. I
am going to punish you,” Haldir ordered. Then walked
back over to his horse and waited for Legolas to come
to him.

Legolas walked over to Haldir, who lifted him up and
placed him on the horse, before mounting himself. They
road at a guarded pace back to their home

As soon as they arrived at the stable, Haldir
dismounted his horse, and helped Legolas down. Haldir
quickly grabbed Legolas' hand and walked him back to
their home. Legolas almost ran to keep from being
dragged.

“Haldir, please slow down. It is difficult for me to
walk swiftly now.” Legolas breathed out. Legolas was
four months pregnant, and started to feel the effects.
He was still about to do most activities, but moving
quickly was not one.

Haldir stopped and let Legolas rest for a bit. “See
you shouldn’t have left home. Now you are exhausted
and you wonder why I told you to stay there”

"I would not be tired if you had not dragged me for
the last few minutes," Legolas snapped out
defensively. The next thing he knew that he was turned
around and swatted firmly five times. This caused a
few elves to turn and look at the couple. Legolas
burned with embarrassment, but didn't tell Haldir he
felt so.

Haldir then turned Legolas so he is facing him and
said "Do not ever talk to me in that tone again,
Legolas. If you do I will lower your leggings and
spank you regardless where we are at, and who is
there."

Legolas sniffled and nodded his head. Haldir held out
his hand which Legolas grabbed, then they walked
slowly to their home. Legolas looked down, trying to
avoid he snickers and glares of some of the young
elves.

Haldir sat on his and Legolas' bed and waited for
Legolas to enter the room. Legolas had asked if he
could compose himself before he was punished, and
Haldir had agreed. It had taking far to long though,
and Haldir started to becoming more angry.

"Legolas get in here, " he demanded and waited a few
moments before shouting "NOW!" After a few minutes he
decided to go and get his wife.

He went to the kitchen were Legolas was supposed to
be, and found only Orophin there. He looked around the
room, then checked the other room before returning to
the kitchen area.

"What are you looking for?" Orophin asked him. He
figured from the way his brother was yelling a minute
ago, that he was looking for his wife, but he asked
anyway.

"Legolas," Haldir replied " He told me he needed to
compose himself before I punished him, but he isn't
here."

"He went outside to make-water. He just left a moment
before you entered the room," Orophin informed his
angry and slightly worried older brother.

"He should have told me," Haldir replied before
walking towards the door. He did not make it out
before Orophin grabbed him by the arm

"Just wait for him here, brother. He is just outside
and you need to calm yourself before you punish him,"
Orophin whispered into his ear.

Haldir jerked his arm roughly from his brothers grib
and glared at him for a moment, before turning around
and heading back to the kitchen. He grabbed a cup of
tea, sat down and waited for Legolas to return.
Orophin sat beside him, and waited as well. He didn't
try to talk to Haldir.

Legolas cautiously stuck is head into the front
doorway and looked around. He spotted Haldir and saw
that he didn't look that angry. He took a deep breath
and walked over to him.

"You should have told me you were going outside,
Legolas," Haldir stated. His voice dripped with
disapproval

"I am sorry," Legolas replied and looked down at the
floor. He puts his hands in front of his stomach and
began wringing them together.

"Well I am going to be leaving now. I promised Elladan
I would take him riding today," Orophin announced
before he ran out of the room, and left.

Haldir raised and walked over to Legolas, he grabbed
the smaller elf and walked him back to the bedroom. He
brought him to the bed and sat him down. Legolas
looked up and waited for Haldir to say something.
Haldir did not speak, as he usually would, but instead
knelt down, and picked up Legolas' right foot, and
removed his boot, then did the same with the other.
Then he stood up and held out his right hand
indicating to Legolas that he was to stand up.
Legolas took Haldir's hand and stood up, with Haldir's
help. Haldir kissed him, on the forehead, and hugged
him.

"You know I love you?" Haldir whispers into Legolas'
right ear, then pulled him back and looked into his
soft blue eyes.

"Yes I know and I love you. You don't need to punish
me, Haldir. I already know I did wrong," Legolas

whispered back. 'I don't understand why it was wrong,'
he sighed inwardly.

"No, Legolas I do have to punish you. You disobeyed me
and as my wife it is your job to obey me. It is also
my job to punish you if you do something, that could
put you in danger," Haldir informed him.

"It's not fair. If I was born female you wouldn't do
this. I don't understand why maternal males, like me,
are treated like we are," Legolas hissed out angrily
and moved to leave. He had enough of this silliness
and wasn't going to take anymore. He was an adult, a
male, and was going to be treated as such. He didn't
ask to be born maternal.

The next thing Legolas knew he was laying face down on
the bed, and his leggings were being lowered. "Stop
it, Haldir, I will tell my ada," he screeched ' Tell
ada, oh that sounded so mature, idiot' he chastised
himself mentally then yelped when Haldir landed his
first swat.

"You will *smack* not *smack* try to *smack* run from
*smack* me *smack* again, Legolas *smack* *smack* You
will *smack* *smack* *smack* not talk to me *smack*
*smack* in that *smack* tone again *smack* *smack*"
Haldir scowled as he swatted him hard and firmly.

"Please *smack* I am sorry. I will never *smack*
please *smack*," Legolas pleaded has he tried to move
up way from Haldir. He didn't want to put much
pressure on his stomach and hurt his unborn child
though.

"You *smack* will not leave*smack**smack**smack*
without asking me, *smack* *smack* climb trees *smack*
*smack* unless I am *smack* *smack* with you, or
*smack* do anything *smack* without telling me first.
*smack* " Haldir scowled as he continued spanking
Legolas.

"Yes I am sorry please *smack* stop I don't like
*smack* being on my stomach like this.*smack* I am
concerned about our child," Legolas cried out.

Haldir stopped his next swat midair and stepped back.
He pulled Legolas up off the bed, turned his tunic
into his belt, so his butt was exposed and moved him
over to stand in the corner. "Stay here until I
return. I will be back soon to give you the rest of
your punishment," he whispered, before kissing Legolas
and walking out of the room.

Legolas sighs because he still doesn't know why Haldir
left. He continues to cry and waits for his husband to
return. Suddenly someone touches him on the shoulder
he turns around and sees.....
