The Way of the Warrior
Hey Everyone:
Just letting you know that I’m going to start an AU about Viggo and Orlando. I’m still working on, I Believe this is Heaven to No One Else but Me, and will soon be wrapping that one up. I’ve just been hit with a new inspiration and I want to get started on this story before it leaves me. It’s going to be a one-shot, an AU, and set in Japan. Here’s the synopsis:
Japan, 1700-1800’s (around there)
War has wrapped its deadly grip around the necks of the Obisuki Clan and the Tomori Clan. Both have been on opposing sides since the dawn of time. Obisuki Harumi is the leader of the Obisuki Clan who strives for domination throughout all of Japan. Viggo, the best assassin in all of Japan, is Harumi’s right-hand man. He leads the Shinjo, and their job is to annihilate any who oppose against Harumi. Viggo’s parents were killed when he was a young boy. Harumi took him in and clouded his mind. She was the one who turned him into a ruthless killer.
Tomori Orlando is of course, the leader of the Tomori Clan. He had to unwillingly take his title after Viggo had assassinated his father. Though he didn’t know who the assassin was, Orlando vowed vengeance on his father’s grave to find the man and kill him with his bare hands in order for his father’s spirit to be at peace. Tomori Orlando fights against Harumi because he believes that one should not rule all. He fights for equality in Japan. Kihota, a renowned ninja, aids him in trying to restore equality in Japan. She leads the Tonohishi, a respectable and well-liked group of ninjas.
Betrayal lies deep within the veins of the Obisuki Clan and the Tomori clan. Sometimes it can be intentional and other times it can be misunderstood. Love blossoms between Viggo and Orlando under unlikely circumstances. Can Viggo and Orlando overcome these perilous times? Or will all be lost and destroyed under Harumi’s selfish greed?
