Halloween Reloaded
The European Mtv Music awards 2003 were over,
all the stars crowding the halls and corridors, many on their way to the EMI
after show party. Celebrating and partying the whole night through. Big stars
stood together in groups or couples, excluding everybody not being their rank.
It was almost impossible for the less famous people to join them since they
created their own closed off communities.
A person brushed past him and he turned around to get a look at –her.
The woman wore a short black silk skirt, a dark golden top, a black cashmere
cardigan over her shoulders, fishnet tights and black high heels. Her lips
swayed with every step she took, causing his pulse to quicken. Who was this
amazing creature?
“Robbie!”
He spun around. “Sorry, Nic.”
He craned his head to catch a last glimpse of the disappearing beauty. Sad that she had to leave. Too sad.
“Robbie! You are doing it again!” Nicole grabbed his chin and yanked him
around, forcing him to look at her. “C you you please pay attention to the
person talking to you.” Her blue cat eyes shone with
barely suppressed anger.
“Sorry love, I am all yours now.” Robbie gave her the dashiest smile he
could muster, hoping that it would calm her down.
The red-head had to fight back a huff, casting a look over her friend’s
shoulder to see who had caught his attention. Finding the source of distraction
she started to laugh. “Oh my, you were staring at her?”
His eyes followed the direction of the pointing finger, coming to rest
on the unknown woman. “Yes, I was. Why? D’you know her?” With rising anger he watched a dark young man
approach the mysterious beauty, wrapping possessive arms around her waist.
Nicole giggled amused upon seeing Robbie’s face clouding. “In fact I do.
I gather she’s here to pick her lover up. No need to be jealous
though. They are Colin Farrell and Orlando Bloom. They are together.”
Together as in ‘an item’? He hadn’t heard
about any woman dating the bloody Irish, no woman dating the Tolkien elf. So who was that wom…
-wait a second. There were only two people standing over there and Nic had said that they were Colin Farrell and Orlando Bloom. The Irish he had
recognised but Bloom. Disbelieving he watched the deep and passionate kiss the
two actors shared. The woman had to be Orlando Bloom then. “Are you telling me
the truth?”
Nicole nodded, reaching hugging him comfortingly. “I am afraid so.”

Robbie looked a last time at the tongue fighting couple and sighed.
Turning his head back to Nicole ha shook it and smiled. “Unbelievable.”
She tousled his hair and the two of them headed for a group of six
people down the corridor, joining their friends on their way to the after showparty.
