Summary: Legolas and Aragorn have a child, can they accept the differences the child will have from them??
Chapter 1
Legolas smiled at Aragorn as he approached his husband from behind.
"Legolas you should be sleeping, you need to rest" Legolas smiled at Aragorn's ability to hear him approach, but he also blamed it on the fact that he was probably eaiser to hear since he was 7 months pregnant with Aragorn's children, but he wasn't sure.
"You need to rest as well *mellamin" Aragorn turned catching the elf in his arms and placed a hand on the round belly he now carried around every day. Aragorn was amazed, for Legolas never complained about the weight of carrying twins and Aragorn wasn't sure he could ever do that.
"Are our little ones keeping you awake" His answer came when he felt fluttering kicks against his hand. Legolas smiled gently and placed his hands on Aragorn's.
"Yes, it is very hard to sleep when being kicked from the inside" Aragorn frowned not wanting his husband to be in any discomfort.
"I'm sorry" Legolas laughed softly before capturing Aragorn's lips in a loving and firey kiss. Pulling back he leaned his fore head against Aragorn's.
"I am fine, it is a joyous feeling to know that our children are growing within me and are healthy and fiesty" Aragorn chuckled. Legolas smiled softly at Aragorn and pulled him towards their chambers.
"Come and rest with me *mellamin, although I love carrying your children, they are not light" Legolas grinned placing his hands on his rather large belly. Aragorn chuckled and followed the elf to their chambers where they laid and talked all night since neither was able to sleep.
Early the next morning Legolas slipped from their room, clothed in a baggy light blue tuinc and pants, he wore small black slipper like shoes. Aragorn had fallen asleep earlier and Legolas, not wishing to wake him slipped out to attend breakfast, he wasn't crazy about the fact that his clothes no longer hid his growing belly, feeling that he looked very strange. A male elf, with a large, round, pregnant bell, it was not something you saw everyday.
Elrond and Arwen were the only ones there when he entered the dinning room and walked to the table.
"Good morning Legolas, how are you feeling" Arwen asked pulling out the chair beside her for him to sit in. Legolas gladly sat in the offered seat sighing as the weight was no longer on his feet.
"Very well, Aragorn and I were up all ngiht talking about the children and he fell asleep a few hours ago, I became hungry and decided to come eat and let him rest." Elrond smiled lightly.
"Well it sounds as if you are both very much excited to become parents" Legolas smiled at the servant who placed his breakfast infront of him before responding.
"Yes, very much" Legolas smiled gently as he was kicked numerous times and took a bite of his food.
"Feisty little ones, I get no peace, I shall be gald when they are on the outside no longer able to keep me up at night with their constant kicking" Arwen laughed lightly which only served to confuse Legolas.
"Oh you won't get off that easily, they will only keep you up with their constant crying all night, in place of kicking." The look that came onto the pregnant elf's face caused Elrond and Arwen to laugh for the next few mintues while Legolas frowned at being laughed at, he didn't find that very funny at all.
