Dom tries to find his lover again, entering a mysterious adventure… This chapter: Dom finds Billy and Billy makes a mistake.

Author's Notes: Sorry it took so long. But finally it’s up. The 10th chapter will up this week I think. I will try and please you, my dearest readers! Hope it won’t get boring for you! ^^
The only thing Dominic could think about as he made his way through the forest was to find that old pharmacy factory. Billy was there. Billy was there. Billy was there. He dug his fingers into the files he carried, let branches and twigs brush his face, causing little bleeding scratches. What if he already was too late? When Tom and his gang members were already on their way to the bank robbery… not they couldn’t have killed him. Not yet. Yes, Dom got the feeling that when everything was said and done they would murder Billy. And also Dom himself. Tom would take care of no one knowing from this coup.
Thoughts running through his head Dom finally reached the main street, a small highway. He looked right then left. No car. He felt like being the only human being alive on earth. Everything deserted. Desperately though still filled with hope he started walking down the street. Maybe a car would come by sooner or late. Hopefully not the wrong one with Ben and Tom sitting in it. His feet hurt, he felt tired and exhausted. The dream menace had been stronger this time and sucked all energy out of Dom. His eyelids were beginning to cover his eyes. The files slipped to the ground his hands losing the strength to hold on to them any longer. He knelt down to grab them again and accidentally a map of a building caught his eye. The pharmacy factory. The rooms were exactly described what would one find in them. In the cellar of the building Dom could find a little room to which a lot of cables were connected, that was what the map told him. Maybe a prison, maybe equipped with a computer, maybe the place where they kept Billy.
He felt a strong wind passing him and played with his already untidy hair. Car wheels screeched as the car came to a halt. The front passenger door was kicked open and a familiar voice shouted:
“Get in, Dominic!”
Riz.

Billy sat down again in front of the PC. He would do it. He feared no one and nothing. Now that Dominic was dead nothing mattered any more. He should have known it in the first place that they would not keep him alive. He knew everything that happened now and then. When he though it over Billy was somehow glad that Dom was…gone. Billy would not have had the courage to stand opposite of him, face him again.
He started tipping and waited for the cell phone to ring.

“How did you know that I was here?” was the first thing Dom asked when he got in the car.
“This was the place Eddie and Ryan used to spend their free time. They trained their shooting abilities to become better policemen.”
“You know about Eddie?”
Riz was driving fast and yet she tried to speed up.
“Yes, of course. I always did. He was the one that betrayed Ryan. He joined the gang and after they sealed the deal at the bank he told everyone that he had been following them, spying on them but came to late to react. Everyone believed him. The people at the bank were to scared to see anything everyone pressed their faces on the floor. He got off very easily.”
Riz didn’t took her eyes off the road.
“Why did you keep all those files?”
“Call it hope or whatever but I thought I would catch him. Someday. The one that murdered Ryan.”
“He was your boyfriend, wasn’t he?”, Dom asked suddenly. Riz didn’t answer.
“I have a guess where they could keep Billy. In the old factory there’s a little room in the cellar, I think there’s also a computer in it. It could be possible that Billy’s right here.”
“I only hope he doesn’t do anything stupid.”, Riz said and turned sharply left.

Ben rung at precisely 12 pm. One ring tone. Billy pressed a button. Then he reached for the cell phone and dialed a short number.
“Ah think ye should take a look at yer monitors, officer.”
Then he hung up.

Riz braked so abruptly that Dom was thrown forwards and nearly hit the front window. Luckily he had fastened his seat belts as soon as he got in the car. They got out of the car and pulled at the heavy iron door. It went open with a creaking sound and both began running down corridors, through halls and rooms till they reached the staircase and chased it down.

Billy smiled satisfied with himself. He stood up and turned the door knob around. The door wasn’t locked so he was able to step out of his chamber. Or better would be able. No one was to be seen. He could run away, escape. They trusted him too much, leaving him without any guards. They didn’t know of what he was capable. But now that he was alone, with no one to turn to, it just didn’t matter if they really caught him in the end and killed him. But he doubted that. Realizing this he just stood there in the doorway waiting for nothing to happen.

It was a narrow escape. Everywhere gun shots and screams. Like the first time. He saw Tom falling injured or even dead to the ground, saw his fellows run in all directions, some of them got hit by bullets and collapsed. Being the only careful person in the group, he was the only one that knew the exit. He had been the only one studying these maps of the bank. He knew the back door. With a bullet in his right upper arm he pushed the door open and breathed the fresh air, relieved. It was all over. Billy had deceived them. He would pay for that. Ben broke a window of a nearby car, short-circuited it and headed to the factory.

Dom saw him first, sitting on the floor, leaning against the doorway, motionless. He had come too late. That was his first thought.
“Billy! NO! Billy!!”, he cried out and quickened his steps, widening the distance between him and Riz. He at once knelt down beside the Scotsman and shook him lightly. When Billy opened his eyes and looked at him, confused, Dom started crying tears of joy. He embraced him, held on to him tightly, patted his back, kissed him on hair, forehead, cheeks, lips.
“I thought you were… That I came too late. But, gracious God, you’re alive! Thank you, thank you…”, Dom went on whispering his “Thank you”s in Billy’s jacket.
“Ye’re not dead.”, Billy suddenly spoke, sounding surprised. “Why did they keep ye alive?”
“What? No, Bills, I escaped, Eddie helped me. After he was told that I was the boy, that I was Ryan’s brother, he let me go. I think they killed Eddie instead of me now.”
“We have to leave at once.”, Billy said and slowly stood up, Dom helping him, putting his arm around him. “Ah think Ah’ve made a mistake, Ah… Ah’ve made a mistake.”, he stuttered and his lips trembled hysterically. “He will come back, he will come back…”
“Billy? What have they done to you…” Dom was terrified and scarred, suddenly the positions were changed. Billy scarred him now.
“Nothing special in fact.” Ben appeared behind them, an arm around Riz and holding a gun to her temple. “I think he just goes crazy.”
Dom and Billy froze at the view of Riz being in danger and didn’t dare moving.
“What do you want, Ben?”, Dom asked carefully.
“Hmm, let’s see. What do I want? Maybe 5 Million Dollars would make it. Billy, why don’t you give them to me? Well, don’t look at me like that! It was you who transferred the pictures of our robbery to the police stations all around the city, wasn’t it?”
Billy seemed to have pulled himself together again and was able to stand alone now, without the help of Dom’s arm.
“Bullshit, Ben. Ah owe you nothing. Ye’re beaten. Let go of her and leave.”
“Oh if it was that easy, Billy! But actually it’s not.”
“Come on, Ben. No one is afraid of you any longer. You are pathetic. She didn’t do anything to you, it’s us you have to shot. Your plan has many holes and flaws, Ben.”
Dom even dared saying this with a mocking tone which made Ben furious. But at least he let go of Riz, he threw her against a wall where she hit it with her head, fell to the ground and lay there unconscious.
“You know what? You’re right! I really was aiming at the wrong person!” His gun went up again and he fired two bullets at Dom.
“NO!!!”
