Staying
Saelbeth took Legolato tto the gardens for a private conversation. He sat the young prince on a bench and looked him in the eye.
"Legolas it is still dangerous in Mirkwood. Your parents want you to stay here with Celeborn and Galadriel. For you own saftey." Saelbeth said trying to gauge the prince's reaction.
"I don't know...." Legolas trailed off as he looked at the ground.
"What?" Saelbeth pulled the princeling into his arms.
"I want to stay but I miss Ada and Nana....Can I write them?" Legolas hugged his guard close to him.
"Of course. I will take any correspondence personaly. I will also be staying awhile till you get settled in. Alright?" Saelbeth asked smoothing the worry lines from Legolas's face.
"Alright."
"Now tell me about what you have been doing since I left you here." Saelbeth made them both comfortable and let the prince talk.

"Oh Elrond I was so frightend! I rememberd the death sentence after you left and I was terrified you would be killed." Celebrian clung to her husband sobbing.
They had laid the boys down for a nap and retreated to their rooms. Elrond hugged her close and told her about his close call. Celebrian shuddered when she thought about how close to Mandos he'd come.
"I am fine. I am home now." he whispered trying to reassure her.
"I was scared that I wouldn't get to tell you. I thought you would die without knowing!" she said turning from him.
"Tell me what?" he stood behind her and placed his arms about her.
"I...I am pregnant again." she said as she turned to look at him.
He smiled and kissed her tenderly. "I am so happy melamin." Elrond embraced her while smiling at the news.

Celeborn tucked the young ones into bed before telling them a bed time story. Exhausted he stumbled back to his rooms and into his wife's arms. Galadriel undressed him and guided him into a warm, fragrant bath. She carefully attended to his every need as he soaked in the hot water. Galadriel guided him out of the bath and sat him in front of the vanity. She dried him and braided his hair. Sighing he stood and dressed in a silk nightgown before he laid down on the bed. Galadriel lay next to him, Celeborn pulled her into his arms. They fell asleep tangled together hours later. When he awoke the next morning the boys had crawled into bed next to them. Smiling he fell back to sleep holding Haldir.
It was good to be home again.
