Two Secrets for the Price of One

Eomer opened his eyes and saw that he was in a tent. He moved his head a little and winced at the pain the action caused. Groaning he closed his eyes and wished the pain would go away. He felt cool hands run across his brow and he opened his eyes slowly. He saw Legolas leaning over him smiling.

"How are you feeling?" Legolas asked quietly.

"Fine. I hurt." Eomer groaned at the pain.

"Drink this." Legolas slipped his hand behind Eomer's head and helped him drink.

Eomer drank it all down before he slumped down on the bed exhausted. Legolas turned to put the cup down and gasped as a wave of dizziness passed over him. Aragorn entered the room and saw Legolas swaying on his feet pale as snow.

"Legolas?" Aragorn asked concerened as he steadied the elf.

"I am fine. I believe I am overtired is all." Legolas smiled at his mate.

Aragorn looked him up and down. "Perhaps. You have been with Eomer all night long. Go rest. Please."

Legolas nodded. "AS you wish."

Aragorn kissed Legolas on the lips. "I love you." he whispered into the elf's ear.

Legolas smiled. "And I love you." Legolas turned and left the tent.

Legolas staggred to Haldir's tent which, thankfuly, was empty. Gagging he grabbed the chamber pot just as he threw up. Moaning put the pot down in a corner and he wiped his mouth off. He got to his feet before poured himself a glass of water and he drank it all down. He collapsed onto the bed and was asleep before he could wonder about his problem.

Aragorn knelt next to Eomer's bed and began to check the young king's wounds. Eomer moaned softly and moved only when nessacary. Aragorn nodded, smiled, and re bandanged the wounds. Aragorn quickly brewed up a healing tea and gave it to Eomer to drink. Eomer drank the draught and laid down and fell asleep. Aragorn sat next to the bed and watched the King of rohan sleep.

Thranduil and Rumil hurried between the tents looking for Legolas. They had gone to Eomer's tent only to be told Legolas was tired and he had retired. They made their way to Haldir's tent knowing that Legolas would be resting there. Upon entering they saw Legolas on the bed pale and sleeping. Thranduneltnelt next to his son and he called to him softly. Legolas opened his eyes blearily.

"Ada?"

"Aye it's me. Whats wrong?" Thranduil asked concened.

"I think I am pregnant." Legolas whispered.

Thranduil sighed as he took his sons hand and squeezed it. "I am sorry I have not been there for you lately. I was there when you were sick. But I didn't knowif you needed me afterwards."

"I will always need you Ada....I love you." Legolas whispered. "But I understand....I was always surrounded by people. When will you and Rumil exchange vows?"

Thranduil looked back at Rumil who had tossed the contents of the chamber pot. "Soon. Rest now. When we wake we will talk some more."

Legolas nodded and smiled as Rumil also knelt next to his bed.
