Disclaimer:
I do not own the Lord of the Rings book series and movie series, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Chapter eight
Authors note: I was tempted to do the next whipping scene, what with all the great response I got with the last chapter and all,( which I thank you all very much, I do not think I have ever received since great response to a story before.) but thought better of it, and just wrote what happened after it, enjoy.
P.S. sorry still short chapters but still working lots of overtime, and with kids and all very tired...
Erestor slowly came to awareness to the sound of someone singing softly with his head in said person’s lap, the pain was so unbearable he soon slipped back into unconsciousness.
The next time he came too he could hear elves arguing, he thought it sounded like Glorfindel and Ecthelion. He hear Glorfindel saying, ‘I need to see him and Ecthelion replying ‘I think you should leave. You have done enough to him. You will be lucky if he lives.’ It nearly broke his heart to hear Glorfindel saying defeatedly, ‘Just please tell him, for what it may be worth, that I am sorry, and that I do love him’
As Erestor tried to move so he could see him pain shot throughout his body causing him to moan.
Glorfindel hearing the moan rushed pass Ecthelion before he could stop him, blending down beside the bed he took Erestor’s hand placing kisses to it saying, “I am so sorry my love, please forgive me, I will do anything, please.” He begged as tears fell from his eyes. Never did he think he could feel as bad as he did know. Looking back he just could not justify his action. It did not matter he had been drinking. It did not matter Ecthelion and he had gotten into another fight. No, none of it mattered. Never would he forgive himself for what he had done to him. He just hoped that Erestor would for give him.
“I just can not, not right now, please just leave.” Was the response he received?
Bowing his head Glorfindel stood and turned to leave saying, “I give him to you Ecthelion. Please take good care of him.” Then he left.
Lindir looked down at the sleeping head in his lap and then to his love, “he had passed back out,” he said with tear filled eyes. Never had he seen anyone with the amount of injuries Erestor had. His heart just about broke when the healer showed up at Ecthelion’s door with the unconscious elf. From what he had heard Ecthelion had gone back over to Glorfindel demanding to see Erestor, When Glorfindel refused again, Ecthelion had became mad and hit Glorfindel telling him what he thought of him. Glorfindel’s guards had to brake the two apart and escorted him to the door, after he had left, Glorfindel had started drinking again and had so severely beating Erestor that he could not wake him, afraid that he had killed him he called a healer. After being told he was alive he had sent him and the healer to Ecthelion’s house that had been a week ago. A fever had set in not long after he had arrived and had only just broke that morning. Erestor had been drifting in and out of consciousness all morning. Lindir’s heart ached at his friends pain, he did not know what the future would bring, but he vowed he would never let anyone hurt him ever again.
