The Prophecy (finished)
Elladan wrapped his arms around tis twin and rocked him as he sobbed dejectedly. Elrohir cried and cried until he couldn't cry anymore. He lay in his twin's arms shaking and hiccuping. Elladan laid his brother on the bed and removed his boots before laying behind him for comfort.
"Elrohir? Who is the other father?" Elladan rubbed his brother's back.
"E...Erestor..." Elrohir managed to say.
"Erestor? Really?" Elladan smiled.
"He will not be happy. He will leave me," Elrohir murmured.
"No he won't..." Elladan started to say but he noticed that Elrohir had fallen asleep.
Frowning Elladan tucked a blanket around his brother and whispered. "Forgive me but I must do this."
Elladan left and went to their father's study where he knew he would be. When he entered he saw Haldir, Legolas, Erestor, and Glorfindel sitting and talking. Elrond looked up at his youngest son smiling he beckoned him inside, Elladan looked at the ground and went into the room.
"What is wrong my son?" Elrond took one of Elladan's hands and frowned it was like ice.
"Ada I need to see you in private. Saes." Elladan said.
Elrond nodded and stood and led his son to his rooms before turning to his son. "Now sit and tell me what is wrong."
Elladan siged and sat in a chair. "I am betraying my twin ada but you must know."
Elrond sat next to his son "Tell me Elladan. One day Elrohir will understand."
Nodding Elladan told his father the Elrohir was pregnant and that he did know who the father was. Elrond shook his had and said that that was Elrohir's part to tell. Elladan felt horrible that he had betrayed his brother in such a henious manner.
"Elladan please bring your brother into the study. His pregnancy and the others are part of something else, I must speak with them." Elrond requested.
Elladan nodded and went to retreive his brother. He walked silently back to his brother's rooms with a heavy heart. He saw Elrohir was awake and sitting on the bed looking angry.
"You told Ada didn't you?" Elrohir accused.
Elladan nodded.
"Why? Why would you do such a thing?" Elrohir started to cry.
"He said your pregnanacy and the others are part of something bigger brother. Besides Erestor had a right to know. You know I speak the truth." Ellandan pleaded with his brother.
Elrohir nodded and hugged his brother. "I am sorry gwador."
"As I am.. Now he needs to see us in the study." Elladan informed his brother
Elrohir stood and dressed before following his brother out the door. When they entered the study he saw Eresetor, Glrofindel, Haldir, and Legolas sitting. Elladan took his twin's hand and sat in front of their father next to Erestor. When they were seated Elrond began to speak, he told them about an anciet prophecy where in three male elves would become pregnant, they and their offspring would be responsible for re uniting the elven races and help to defeat a great evil. Legolas and Haldir were shocked.
"And you think this pertains to us?" Legolas asked shockd.
"Aye. There is more but that is the basic part of it. You, Haldir and the third elf were born on the same day. You became pregnant on the same day as well. And one elf from each realm. Legolas you are of Mirkwood, Haldir is from Lorien." Elrond explained.
"Do you know who the third is?" Haldir asked.
No one spoke for several mintues untill a sad voice broke the slience.
"Me."
Erestor. Legolas, and Haldir stared at Elrohir is shock, noone moved or said a word. Finaly Erestor broke the silence.
"What? How?" Erestor slowly shook his head and stood. Was the babe his? Or had Elrohir found another?
Elrond suddenly realized that Erestor was the other father and he had just found out in a most impersonal manner. Elrohir shook with silent sobs and Elladan tried to comfort him. Elrohir whispered when he had gotten pregnant and Legolas and Haldir stared. It was on the same day they had conceived as well, and the twins were born on the same day as Legolas and Haldir. It was eerie to say the least. Erestor pauses in his pacing and stared at the elf in shock. That day had been their first time together....it had also had been Elrohir's first time. Erestor knelt in front of his lover and took him into his arms. Elladan, Haldir, and Legolas stood and quietly left the room.
