CHAPTER 9
The night before Mina was to wed, she stayed with Anna, while Orophin stayed with Haldir. Mina had been given her wedding gown that day and she had only taken it from the protective covering once. It was a breathtaking as she hoped it would be.
Mina now stood in front of the mirror with her veil over her head. Anna’s eyes were full of tears of joy for her friend. “You are so beautiful Mina! You will be so beautiful when you stand beside him tomorrow. I knew all would be well if you would only give him a chance.”
Mina looked at Anna, “I never thought I could love anyone as I love him, Anna. My heart aches for him. I cannot believe I made such a fuss. I am lucky I think. What if he had been put off by my foolishness? I would be without him now. I cannot bear to think of how my life would be without him.”
“You will never have to know. He loves you so Mina. He would never let you go.”
Mina squeezed Anna’s hand. Both girls turned when the knock on the door was heard.
“Enter.” Mina called. Alcazar stepped in and bowed to both maids.
“I have come to tell you both good night and ask if there is anything you need of me?”
“Nay Alcazar, we are well.”
He nodded, “I will be outside until three, and Aragorn will take my place then. If you need anything, just call to one of us.”
Mina nodded her thanks. Alcazar gave Anna an appreciative smile then left.

Alcazar stretched and yawned lazily, readr Arr Aragorn to take his place to guard the Princess. He did not really see why Haldir was being so cautious, Lea would be be fool enough to try to hurt Mina within the city. He slid his weary body down against the doorframe and allowed his eyes to close momentarily.
His mistake was realized too late.
His eyes snapped open when he felt a prick at his neck. He looked up into the sneering face of Lea. As his vision blurred and just before he lost consciousness, he could also make out the shadows of two others behind her. She was in the company of two male elves, two Rivendell elves. One of which he knew well, “Micah?” The name came slurred as darkness claimed Alcazar.

Mina awoke to find herself flung over someone’s shoulder. It took a moment for her eyes to focus before she realized where she was and who had her. She knew she was outside and being carried through the Golden forest. She was bound at her wrists and ankles and gagged. She was being held firmly against whoever held her by his arm clamped against her legs. She listened to the voices as they spoke.
“How will we make it passed the wardens Lea? Haldir is no fool. I am sure he has the borders well guarded.”
“Do not worry so, Micah. A diversion has been planned. The wardens of Lorien will not notice us leaving for the party of mortals who are set to attack at dawn when we reach the borders”
Another male voice spoke, “Why must we give her to the men Lea? She is a lovely one. Can we not sample her first?”
“Certainly not! She is worth more untried by a male. Do you know how much we will get for her? Her station alone is worth one hundred gold pieces to these men. ” Lea chuckled evilly, “Luke will love her golden head. He will probably break her in to her new life himself. Can you imagine what Haldir will feel when he discovers his precious little Princess is a used up whore of man?”
Mina could not help her shiver. The male elf holding her laughed, “Awake little Princess? I am sorry I cannot make you more comfortable, but do not worry, you shall be upon your back soon enough.”
Tears stung Mina’s eyes, but she refused to let them fall. She swallowed hard and nodded to herself, pushing her fear aside. If she were to survive this, she must keep her wits about her. She had to eve eve in her heart Haldir would come for her. All she need do is stay alive until he did.

Anna ran as fast as he legs would carry her, screaming for Haldir as she ran. Candles were being lit inside the many talans she passed as she cried out. Several elves stepped out onto their verandas to see what was happening.
Blood from the wound on her head dripped into her eyes, but she continued to run. Her head and ribs ached from the blows she had received under Lea’s attack. She reached the steps leading to his talan when he and Orophin met her halfway. Anna collapsed in Orophin’s arms, sobbing freely.
“Haldir…Lea took her! She took her. Haldir…they took her away. Alcazar…I think she killed him. Oh dear Iluvator…Mina is gone.”
Haldir disappeared only a moment and returned with his sword and bow. Anna struggled to continue, “She said she would sell her. Like she did Ophelia! Like she did all the others!”
Orophin pressed a kerchief to her head to stop the blood flow. Legolas and Rumil appeared below the stairs.
“What has happened brother?”
Haldir glanced at Legolas, “To arms brother, Lea has taken my Mina.”
Orophin watched as his two brothers and the Mirkwood Prince disappeared in the darkness of the woods. Orophin held Anna tightly against him, silently thanking the valor she was not taken as well.

The skirmish on the border had been costly…to the mortals. No elves were even wounded, but Lea had been right. The Lorien wardens were so determined to keep the mortals at bay; the three of them had simply crossed unnoticed with Mina in tow.
Lea led them to where horses were waiting. Lucian mounted his steed and pulled Mina across his lap. The three of them rode in the direction of Edoras, several days ride from the Golden Wood. Lea rode ahead of the party, as her arrogance always pushed her to do so. Micah looked over to his companion and grinned lecherously. The other male returned just as evil of a grin.
Micah eyes fell to the quiet Princess thrown across his lap. He wished there was some way he could let her know. It was too risky. He swallowed down the lump in his throat as he remembered the pain in Alcazar’s eyes, his own brother.

Aragorn had found the tracks leading away from the borders very quickly. Lea had tried to through them off the trail by crossing the Nimrodel. The elven horses were not fooled one bit.
Lea did not have as great a lead as she had hoped, for Anna had only pretended to be unconscious as Lea beat her. It had taken all of Anna’s will to stay awake as she was abused so. But she knew if Mina was to have a chance, she must stay awake. She had waited only a few moments before running for Haldir.
Aragorn speculated that Lea and Mina were less than two hours from them. Aragorn had an idea of where they were headed. A small, mining town just three miles from Edorat wat was a very violent and wicked town. Women were traded and sold into slavery frequently within this city.
Legolas had been silent the entire search, his face pale and his eyes distant. It was almost more than he could abide to think his sister might be…brutalized. Alcazar now road beside him, still nauseas and dizzy from the poison, but he had refused to stay within the city.
“We will find her before it is too late Legolas. Do not despair.”
Legolas turned to him, tears in his eyes, “I cannot help but despair. I cannot bear it if they touch her…my heart is breaking….”
Haldir touched his arm, “I have sworn to protect your sister Legolas. I will do so. We will find her and I will kill Lea with my own hands. We will not be too late.” Haldir’s own eyes misted, “I know a brother’s love is strong, mellon, but believe me when I say it cannot compare to mine. She is my heart Legolas. We shall find her and bring her home.”

Mina was now sitting up right against Micah. She was weakened from blood loss from a wound on her side and she had been refused water. Lea wanted her barely able to stand and too weak to try to escape. Lea later made sure she could not stand when she had snapped Mina’s ankle into.
Lea was amazed at the icy calmness of Mina to such an agonizing assault. Mina knew she would suffer and the pain that would be inflicted upon her would be more than she could stand, so she pulled inside herself where nothing could harm her. She stayed there with her memories and visions of him. She remembered his touch, his smell, his strong arms around her shielding her from everything wicked in the world. She knew he would come. She repeated it to herself constantly. Even when she looked behind her and saw nothing, she knew he would come.
By nightfall, Lea had led them to their destination. When Lea rode ahead to greet the man she had come to see, Micah gave Mina water to drink. She had spit some of it back up, but eventually was able to keep it down.
Micah stiffened when he saw a very large man walking behind Lea. He had dark hair and dark eyes. He was filthy and Micah could smell him from several feet away. Kyan looked at Micah as the man approached. “When shall we make our offer Micah?”
“Do not trouble yourself over it Kyan. I will make it to him shortly.” Kyan nodded, suppressing his smile as Lea now stood before them with Lu

Luke looked up at the small elf in Micah’s arms and scowled, “You brought me a child…even the riff raff here would not sway that way, elf!”
Lea laughed, “She is only small. She is of age. Truly, I bring you a grown elleth and one with high status.”
Luke snatched Mina from the saddle and held her at arms length. “She’s a pretty little thing.”
“She is the Princess of Mirkwood, King Thranduil’s one and only daughter.”
Luke snorted his pleasure and roughly stroked Mina’s golden hair. Mina held her revulsion in check. His smell nearly made her vomit as it reminded her of the first orc she had ever smelled.
“She’s pure?”
Lea laughed, “Never touched. A golden virgin, Luke, all for you.”
Luke nodded his appreciation, “How much Lea? Last elves you brought me, I paid more money then they were worth and then they faded on me!”
Lea shrugged, “You risk that with elves Luke. But surely you see her worth. I know you like that golden head of hers, and you’ve had none as lovely as this one, nor have you had royalty before. I’ve never brought you a virgin either.”
Luke groaned and shoved Mina at another man standing by. “Tie her to the post. I want her to get her first lashing tonight so she’ll know what to expect should she try to run.”
“How many lashes Luke?”
Luke studied the small elleth. “I don’t think she’d last more than ten. Ten lashes to her back and legs. I’ll be over in a moment.” Luke stopped the man once more, “Strip her also. Let her get use to what she’s here for. The men can touch and taste, but no poking….that’s for me first. And charge em…she ain’t free.”
Micah stiffened in his seat. He would have to move quickly.
Lea watched the man half drag, half carry Mina to a near by wooden post. She watched with glee as the man bound her wrists and stretched her arms painfully over her head. The man then ripped her dress, exposing her back to the night air. He walked away to retrieve his leather whip.
“500 gold pieces Luke or I take her back now.”
“500! Lea, I don’t even make that in a month!”
Lea sneered at him, “Do you think me a fool? Do you think I just enjoy coming here and being subjected to your stinking hide! I know very well where you keep your gold, you stupid man. Do not forget you speak to an elf.”
Luke’s eyes narrowed. He had longed wanted to take Lea for himself, but she brought him so much profit. Now he only wanted to break her neck. He had half a mind to let that Princess go just to get Lea’s goat, but he could not deny how he wanted the Princess for himself. Luke nodded finally, “Alright, 500 gold pieces.”
Luke turned to go get her payment, “One more thing Luke.”
He stopped and turned to her, “I want to whip her.”
Luke shook his head in disgust and stayed the hand of his comrade. He motioned for him to bring the whip and the man did. Luke handed it to Lea. Luke walked away to get the gold then. Lea did not see Micah follow.
Lea moved to where Mina could see her. She shoved the handle of the whip against Mina’s face, “I get the pleasure of whipping you raw Mina, but I will not stop at 10. I will not stop until the flesh is torn from your back. Do you know what will happen then? Luke and about twenty-five other men will make their sport of you. One by one by one will take you over and over again” Lea giggled and yanked Mina’s hair, “. You will be nothing but a whore then. A dirty, used up whore. wil will be tied and left naked, spread open for anyone to come and have you.”
Lea laughed heartily, “Your little cunt will be so used and dirty, Haldir would not have you even if he did come for you.”
“Why?” Mina managed out weakly. Lea’s face fell and she punched Mina with her fist, busting her lip.
“Because I can, you pathetic little bitch. Do you think you are the first? I have been selling the whores of our kind into prostitution since before you were born. Do you know why Haldir and Orophin hate me so? I think I did promise to tell you didn’t I? Anna was not Orophin’s only true love. There was another, her name was Ophelia. She was a lovely, tall elleth. She was a warden. Unfortunatly she was too trusting. I had never taken one who was so easy to manipulate. I ravished her myself before I sold her to Luke. I could see what Orophin found so sweet.”
Lea sighed, “I do not think Ophelia lasted more than three months before she faded. Orophin could never find her. He tried, but could not. Do not think Haldir will find you. He will not and even if he did, he will not want you after what is about to happen to you.”
Lea grabbed Mina’s dress and ripped it down the front then. She grasped one of Mina’s nipples and pinched mercilessly. Mina bit so hard, her cheek bled but she would not cry out. Lea laughed and backhanded her once more.
“Oh you will scream now Mina. You will scream when the leather tears your skin from your back. When each lash rips your skin to the bone, believe me, you will cry out and beg for death. You will not be so lucky.”
Lea moved behind her then and swished the so so Mina could hear the horrible sounds. Tears streamed down her cheeks, as she knew what was about to happen to her. She managed to turn her head back to the open plain, straining to see if Haldir was coming. A small sob escaped when she saw he was not there.
Lea had just raised the whip when her wrist was grabbed from behind. She whirled to see Luke and another man standing behind her. Micah was now untying Mina and lifted her into his arms when she fainted.
“What are you doing Luke? Release me?”
Luke only shook his head and twisted her arms behind her back. The other man helped Luke shove her to the pole. Lea screamed in outrage, “Micah! Help me! What are you doing?”
“Leaving you to what is long over due you. Now it is time for you to become what you covet, Lea, become the whore that you are. You filthy disgusting worthless waste of air!”
Luke laughed gleefully, “Micah here made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. 1000 gold pieces to free the Princess and another 500 to take you off his hands.”
“No! Micah! You can’t do this! Don’t leave me here!”
Lea’s hands were tied and stretched above her head. Her tunic was ripped completely from her body.
“How many lashes Luke?”
Luke chuckled, “Lea’s is stout enough, give her twenty-five. Then strip her and the men can have her, free of charge. It’s my gift to them.”
Lea was now sobbing and pleading for mercy, offering more money and more girls. The frightened and horrified faces of the many she had delivered to Luke now stared at her in her mind.
Lea’s own mind was unable to bear what was happening. She felt the rest of her clothing being torn away and she watched as Micah and Kyan rode back across the plain, disappearing into the night sky.
She screamed in agony as the first lash was brought across her back. Another lash followed and she wailed even louder. Mina’s elven ears heard Lea’s cries in the distance and she shuddered despite herself against Micah.
After the 6th scream, Micah heard no more and he assumed she had fainted from the pain. He allowed himself a small smile. After all these years, they had found out the one who had betrayed their people, their own kind. He had gotten the revenge that he had been searching for so many years.
Peace sweet little sister. Peace Bianca. Rest now knowing I have avenged you. Lea will never hurt another of our kind again. No other elleth will suffer as you did.
A single tear slid down Micah’s cheek. His life’s pursuit was finally at an end. Now he had a new pursuit he must attend to and return this young maiden to her home and loved ones.

Luke’s eyes narrowed. He had longed wanted to take Lea for himself, but she brought him so much profit. Now he only wanted to break her neck. He had half a mind to let that Princess go just to get Lea’s goat, but he could not deny how he wanted the Princess for himself. Luke nodded finally, “Alright, 500 gold pieces.”
Luke turned to go get her payment, “One more thing Luke.”
He stopped and turned to her, “I want to whip her.”
Luke shook his head in disgust and stayed the hand of his comrade. He motioned for him to bring the whip and the man did. Luke handed it to Lea. Luke walked away to get the gold then. Lea did not see Micah follow.
Lea moved to where Mina could see her. She shoved the handle of the whip against Mina’s face, “I get the pleasure of whipping you raw Mina, but I will not stop at 10. I will not stop until the flesh is torn from your back. Do you know what will happen then? Luke and about twenty-five other men will make their sport of you. One by one by one will take you over and over again” Lea giggled and yanked Mina’s hair, “. You will be nothing but a whore then. A dirty, used up whore. wil will be tied and left naked, spread open for anyone to come and have you.”
Lea laughed heartily, “Your little cunt will be so used and dirty, Haldir would not have you even if he did come for you.”
“Why?” Mina managed out weakly. Lea’s face fell and she punched Mina with her fist, busting her lip.
“Because I can, you pathetic little bitch. Do you think you are the first? I have been selling the whores of our kind into prostitution since before you were born. Do you know why Haldir and Orophin hate me so? I think I did promise to tell you didn’t I? Anna was not Orophin’s only true love. There was another, her name was Ophelia. She was a lovely, tall elleth. She was a warden. Unfortunatly she was too trusting. I had never taken one who was so easy to manipulate. I ravished her myself before I sold her to Luke. I could see what Orophin found so sweet.”
Lea sighed, “I do not think Ophelia lasted more than three months before she faded. Orophin could never find her. He tried, but could not. Do not think Haldir will find you. He will not and even if he did, he will not want you after what is about to happen to you.”
Lea grabbed Mina’s dress and ripped it down the front then. She grasped one of Mina’s nipples and pinched mercilessly. Mina bit so hard, her cheek bled but she would not cry out. Lea laughed and backhanded her once more.
“Oh you will scream now Mina. You will scream when the leather tears your skin from your back. When each lash rips your skin to the bone, believe me, you will cry out and beg for death. You will not be so lucky.”
Lea moved behind her then and swished the so so Mina could hear the horrible sounds. Tears streamed down her cheeks, as she knew what was about to happen to her. She managed to turn her head back to the open plain, straining to see if Haldir was coming. A small sob escaped when she saw he was not there.
Lea had just raised the whip when her wrist was grabbed from behind. She whirled to see Luke and another man standing behind her. Micah was now untying Mina and lifted her into his arms when she fainted.
“What are you doing Luke? Release me?”
Luke only shook his head and twisted her arms behind her back. The other man helped Luke shove her to the pole. Lea screamed in outrage, “Micah! Help me! What are you doing?”
“Leaving you to what is long over due you. Now it is time for you to become what you covet, Lea, become the whore that you are. You filthy disgusting worthless waste of air!”
Luke laughed gleefully, “Micah here made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. 1000 gold pieces to free the Princess and another 500 to take you off his hands.”
“No! Micah! You can’t do this! Don’t leave me here!”
Lea’s hands were tied and stretched above her head. Her tunic was ripped completely from her body.
“How many lashes Luke?”
Luke chuckled, “Lea’s is stout enough, give her twenty-five. Then strip her and the men can have her, free of charge. It’s my gift to them.”
Lea was now sobbing and pleading for mercy, offering more money and more girls. The frightened and horrified faces of the many she had delivered to Luke now stared at her in her mind.
Lea’s own mind was unable to bear what was happening. She felt the rest of her clothing being torn away and she watched as Micah and Kyan rode back across the plain, disappearing into the night sky.
She screamed in agony as the first lash was brought across her back. Another lash followed and she wailed even louder. Mina’s elven ears heard Lea’s cries in the distance and she shuddered despite herself against Micah.
After the 6th scream, Micah heard no more and he assumed she had fainted from the pain. He allowed himself a small smile. After all these years, they had found out the one who had betrayed their people, their own kind. He had gotten the revenge that he had been searching for so many years.
Peace sweet little sister. Peace Bianca. Rest now knowing I have avenged you. Lea will never hurt another of our kind again. No other elleth will suffer as you did.
A single tear slid down Micah’s cheek. His life’s pursuit was finally at an end. Now he had a new pursuit he must attend to and return this young maiden to her home and loved ones.
